That’s all it took for Storm Cooper to lose his mind over the disappearance of Amaya Bradley. After her abduction, he makes it his personal mission to find her and bring her back to the pride after a captured rogue confirms the worst.
Amaya had been turned into his enemy.
Amaya Bradley tries to fight the voice in her head, telling her to capture and give human females her blood. The memories she has from her old life only center around the friendship she has with the panther pride. The longer she’s with the wolves, the less she believes she will be rescued. She holds out hope they are searching for her, and with each outing to find more humans to turn for the wolf alpha’s army, she prays they will find her.
When she’s rescued by the Guardian Storm, her world is changed, forever. He’s kind and caring, teaching her how to live as a shifter, but she has scars from her past. The animal that lives inside her gravitates toward him, knowing he is her home…the place she belongs, but will she be willing to tell him everything about her time as a human?
Storm vows to bring the rogue alpha to justice. When the male is found, Storm will risk his own life to return home with Amaya’s freedom so they can finally make the connection and confirm their mating.
Theresa is a mother of two and the wife of a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. After seventeen years traveling the country, moving from base to base, the family has settled their roots back in Theresa’s home town of Olive Branch, MS., where she enjoys her time with old friends and family.
Theresa daydreams of the perfect love affair and takes those ideas to paper.
This book is about Amaya and Storm. Storm has known for awhile that Amaya is his mate. After searching the streets of Memphis for two weeks to find her, he does. When he finds her she had been turned into a wolf shifter. Amaya is brought back to the Shaw pride and becomes a member. She is learning how to navigate her new life and Storm is trying to be patient before he claims her as his mate. This is another fantastic book of this series . If you haven’t read it yet pick up your copy today.
This is the twelfth book in the series. They should be read in order. This book focuses on Storm and Amaya. Amaya was taken by the Gadai. She has been missing for two weeks. Storm knew the moment he saw her that she was meant to be his mate, he didn’t need to touch her to know. Then she was taken before he could do anything about it. Now he has been searching non stop for two weeks to find her. He will do whatever it takes to find her and heal her. Storm learns that Amaya has been turned. This just adds one more thing between them. Storm isn’t deterred and manages to find her and bring her back to the pack. Now they must figure out how to be together and to stop the Gadai. I love this series so much. It gets better with each book. The characters always pull me in. The pride is so accepting when the outside world isn’t always accepting of them. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Fantastic job Theresa.
I fell in love with this Series from reading the very first book, Talon and as always, Theresa Hissong doesn't disappoint with Storm's book! I love Storm and Amaya's story and Amaya shows that even with what she sadly endured by the hands of her ex husband, with a lot of inner and outer strength and never giving up, you can find true love. I don't like to give away spoilers because I want the reader to enjoy the book, just as much as I do so, I'm going to say that with Storm by her side, ANYTHING is possible for these two! Talon's Guardians and Protectors continue to round up the rogue wolves and the girls that they unfortunately change, but they're able to safely send them off to Colorado where they can live and start a new and happy life. I just LOVE these characters that Theresa has created in The Rise of the Pride Series and I'm already excited for the next book and that I have something to look forward to!
This book was very interesting & had the ongoing good vs bad plot which got finished in this book. Amaya Storm’s mate helped them catch the bad guy/wolf.
Amaya was previously & for short periods of time in Noah’s book as she worked with Landon at the vet clinic. Though she mostly worked at night taking care of the patients who had to stay there overnight. & 1 night while she was there she had been kidnapped by the bad wolves & changed by them too.
Storm, 1 of the Guardians of the Pride just happened upon Amaya while she was at Noah & Landon’s house & while she was there his panther took notice of her. That’s the 1st time that Storm saw her.
But, it wasn’t until she was kidnapped & changed that he realized that she was most likely his mate.
Now it’s your turn to read the book to find out what happens with their mating. I love this series.
Storm and Amaya is the perfect shifter story. Amaya was taking and brainwashed. She was forced to find female and turn them into wolves. Storm was searching for her because she was his true mate. For the weeks she was missing he search everywhere. He finally found her only discover what she had been through not only since she change into a shifter but also what she went through as a human. He know he had to be patience with her.
You will see all they go through to discover their love and Amaya to discover that Storm is her true mate.
Theresa Hissong did a great writing Storm. The characters in the the book is incredible!! If I could give it more stars I would! Definitely 5/5!! I can’t wait to read Lucky!!
The Pride is now fully involved in fighting the rogue shifters that seem to have descended upon their town....but Storm is fighting an internal battle as well....trying to find his mate, Amaya, after she was kidnapped from the animal clinic😢
This story was amazing and so intriguing with all the different aspects of the shifter culture, which I loved reading about❣️Storm and Amaya ring in a new era of the Pride which was a nice surprise and the hint as to which panther(s) will get his story next has me excited for 2021🤩
I loved this story. While I think the end of the Alpha was rushed I feel like it was a cliffhanger. There are more guardians that need a story. I hope we get to see them. I am very interested in the new pride member too. I suggest if your going to read one of these start at the beginning. Although, the can be read as a stand alone I found it easier to connect the dots .
I have waited to review this series until this book. It was one of the best shifter series I've read. Each book takes you on a journey with the Shaw pride and the fierce and protective characters introduced. From the 1st book, Talon, the writer takes you on ajourney of discovery with this pride of Panthers and how they all find their mates. Some with a hint of funny but oh so HOT!! Definitely a series I would recommend to someone who enjoys shifter series.
I love this entire series and I'm so happy it's this continue.poor Amaya has has it rough and it's hard for the to trust again. Storm comes in and saves her in every way. The things missing that I wish were in the story , what happened to Murdocks mate? Did they learn about the inter species ,were there anymore wolves? I can't wait to see what kind of shifted he turns out to be.
Oh Storm was my favorite I think our of all the books in this series. I love Amara. She was brave when she needed to be but had some major trauma in her past. Storm was like the perfect male. He was there for her without pushing her. Then she was there to help him heal as well. But come on. The ending. Please say there will be a book about Sofia! I need another book lol!
Absolutely Amazing, Fantastic. Loved this entire book so much. It will keep you entranced until the very last words. I definitely will be reading it again in about ten minutes. LOL. Full of twists and turns that you just can't walk away from until the end.
I am Never disappointed with a Theresa Hissong book. Storm has everything a yummy hero, a lady in distress, but is stronger than she knows, and an engaging plot. Again Theresa you knocked it out if the park. Can't wait for Lucky number 13.
It deserved a higher rating, but 5 is all I could give it. I really loved hearing Amayas story. This book had me laughing, smiling, happy and then crying my eyes out. If you haven't started this series, it's a must read.
This is one of my favorite shifter series. The story of Storm and Amaya answers many questions but ends with a question. I can't wait to find out the answer!!
I am enjoying the characters, the plots, the mystical parts and the relationships between the characters. I love that the women are seen as important to the well being of the group as a whole and the heroines are strong women too.
This book is so action packed, I could not put it down! I stayed up late to finish this book! Hot panthers! Love Storm! My 236th book of the year! OMG it's so good! Y'all have to read this book! From a True Fan... Pam James
I really love this series and this book is an awesome addition. The storyline flows and I didn't want it to end. I'm so happy for Storm and his beautiful mate. Can't wait for more stories.
This is one of my favorite shifter series. The story of Storm and Amaya answers many questions but ends with a question. Lots of drama and romance! I can't wait to find out the answer!!
Oh my goodness I love this series. So we have Storm who found his mate a couple of books back but at first he was not for sure. Well that all changed when his mate Amaya was taken. So how do we know who Amaya is. She works for Landon at the clinic. We also find out that Amaya was taken by the wolves. This is not good. We know that the panthers do not like the wolves. So what happens when Storm finds her and realizes she is no longer human and a wolf? Well you need to read to find out. This story was a bit more emotional when he find out about Amaya's past. She does not want the pride to find out about her but they do and they prove to her that she will not be judged and is family. I can say that when Storm finally found Amaya, he was relieved and scared. He is very patient with Amaya but she realizes one thing. Storm smells like HOME! We do get a happily ever after. I am so ready for the next in the series.
