Alex Newman masterfully lays out every aspect of the Deep State and its history, from the secret societies to the manipulation of the public education system. I can't recommend this book enough!
One of the many conspiracy theories of the hard right. Author continually uses value-laden words to describe bureaucrats designed to cause disgust and fear in the reader. This book is typical of the thinking of the modern hard Right which seems to have originated after World War II, starting with the John Birch Society.
Even though most people politically informed consider the existence of a deep state a reality, and that Alex Newman has included some of the elements that could be part of it (whether consciously or not), his outdated book lacks the seriousness of an investigative work aimed at illuminating the reader, and ends up being a piece of pathetic far right propaganda. Cite as evidence some passages from the Old Testament of the Bible, or some conspiracy occurred during the time of the roman empire, shows certain scarcity of background. Of course, this is a book written for the followers of the political and ideological tendencies of the author and his sponsors, but to consider this piece worth reading for the general public is an exaggeration that goes beyond being reasonable. Personally, I stop reading it as soon as I got to the second chapter, after having finished with disgust the first one that is only two pages and a half. I had to make an extraordinary effort to continue reading it after a pause of several days, and I finished only to be able to have a valid opinion of that book and his author as a journalist.
Deep State by Alex Newman covers both the national and international scene. Newman starts off by explaining how the local government is no longer representing the people. The government continues to grow while the berocrats create new regulations and are accountable to no one. Newman brings up 'the cabal' such as elite politicians and globalist who want to undermine national sovereignty in favor of a one world government. The book covers the Bilderberger secret society and skull and bones. He discusses the United Nations and how radical environmental groups are undermining society. The book is somewhat dated since it does not cover the World Economic Forum and their great resent vision to end democracy and create a one world government. The book examines illegal immigration in both Europe and America and how it is being used as a battering ram to destroy the native populations. I found the book to be somewhat depressing and the forces arrayed against liberty to be overwhelming. The book is worth reading but it is somewhat outdated.
In Deep State: The Invisible Government Behind the Scenes, Alex Newman rips the veil off the hidden war against human liberty. With relentless precision, he exposes the shadowy elites infiltrating political parties, international bodies, charities, and even education itself — all driving toward a single, monstrous goal: the total enslavement of mankind under an unelected technocratic order. Newman’s tone is dispassionate yet thunderous, allowing the damning facts and direct quotes from key players to indict themselves. His systematic dissection of mass migration, pandemic controls, environmental activism, and regionalization reveals a breathtakingly coordinated assault against American sovereignty — and by extension, global freedom.
Newman reminds us that if American liberty falls, the world falls with it. Yet he also sounds a call to arms: that through faith, constitutional awareness, and righteous defiance, the Deep State's ambitions can be defeated. This book is not merely a warning; it is a trumpet blast to awaken a sleeping people before the final chains are fastened.
Newman has written an excellent book that every American should read. He is very clear that there is in fact a deep state and a deep state behind the deep state and they've been working to create a one-world order for decades and they are getting close. If any American doubts this, just look at the kids that are graduating today or who've graduated in the last 10 years. They have no true understanding of the history of our country. They think the 1619 project is true. They love socialism and communism without knowing what they are or the history behind them. Yes, they are the products of the deep state, a generation of uncommitted you people who are easy to get angry at their government.
This book was an eye opener. While much of what the author describes is obviously happening right now before our eyes, I was quite amazed and shocked at how far back in the 20th century many of these things were already being propagated in our nation. And how deep and wide the roots are. The book helps a person understand how we got to where we are today. It didn't just happen in a vacuum. there is definitely an agenda being pushed upon our nation.
While the author often quoted from specifically named documents and books, I believe the book would have been improved (and better validated) by giving both a comprehensive bibliography of sources used, as well as footnotes giving page numbers.
