Lisa Daniels is a (young) retired school teacher who resides in Miami. After five years of teaching, Lisa Daniels found that it wasn’t quite the world that she wanted to inhabit. After leaving her position, she moved to Miami. She hasn’t regretted it.

In her worlds, Lisa Daniels creates characters that go beyond the usual narrative. While they definitively include romance, Lisa Daniels strives to make the worlds more real with characters that are more than just cardboard cutouts of the genre. All of the main characters (and many of the secondary ones) have a rich history that span much longer than the stories themselves. This makes it easy to weave the stories together so that you can see characters you met in previous tales and see how they have managed since.

Short Read. We have Hunter and Oliver's story in this book. Hunter feels betrayed by everyone. Oliver thought she left him for another. Now He is intervening in a robbery by the princesses. What will Oliver and Hunter do when they see each other again? What will the princesses do when the robbery goes wrong? Will the truth come out? Will Oliver and Hunter accept each others explanation?

I received a copy from BookSprout; this is my honest review
-The author narrates 1st and 3rd person’s POV in the same chapter for the same person. I didn’t say anything on my other reviews but in this book it was more visible. “If anything happened to Hunter… A shocking sensation shot through Hunter, and she knew that her time was up.”. This is simply not done.
-Although there is copy&paste a plenty in this book too, the story was much more interesting than the other 3 books. It was more engaging and more satisfying. There were less questions, more answers. I’m not sure if the author answered all my questions but I’m content.
-Hunter did get her HEA and you know it: The drive to get there is slow but it should be since it’s been a decade they hadn’t seen each other.
-In my opinion, the author should have written a longer book instead of 4 smaller ones and put all POV together and flowing the chapters from one to the other without repeating too much but instead continuing where the last chapter left off. It would have been less frustrating and more captivating.
-Editing needs another serious pass: wrong word, missing word, etc.

To have found one's mate is most shifter's dream, but not Oliver. He ignores the signs and walks away from her.. Ten years later they meet again, and this time she is his captive after the failed heist
As with the other books of the Northern Realm Royal Wolves, book 4 copies scenes where all the girls are involved, to show the commonality.
It can be a little tedious to read them again, but at the same time they give the impression of a common threat throughout the stories of the Royal Wolves. series. This story was engaging, entertaining and fun to read, a good story for a quiet day.

As naomi, grace, ruby, and Hunter are trying to heist what's in a wagon Hunter realizes something is wrong as.now oliver , lucus, matea, and Noah sets their plan arye . This story is hunters and Oliver's and what happened with them and how Hunter finds out the truth about her ex Oliver and he knows her truth. Awesome story

Hunter's Royal Taming is a fast paced story and book four in the Northern Realm Royal Wolves series. In this book we get Hunter's version of the medicine heist. We also get to meet Oliver, Hunter's ex and then the story takes us on an interesting twisty ride. This is an entertaining story filled with drama, danger, mystery, intrigue, steam, unexpected twists and a great HEA. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Fourth book in the series. This one really pulls at the heart strings. Hunter is always the tough one. But damn she is so much more and knows how to hide it. There is history between her and Oliver and it will be told throughout the book. Lots of secrets are finally told that brings a real eye opener to who and what Hunter is. There is some fighting but the story is more about finding who she is and where her life is going.

I really enjoyed this book. There was apparently a misunderstanding between Hunter and Oliver. Of course, there is some manipulation from her brothers. I'm happy with how it all ended. The only problem I had was that it feels like there should be more.

Second. Chance on love but can they get over the hurt in the past whilst dealing with the ongoing situation. Storyline was very good I thought and I was hooked. The feelings between them was of hurt and betrayal. Characters were amazing to read and I really enjoyed the ending.

Hunter’s Royal Taming, the fourth book in the Northern Realm Royal Wolves series, was a solid three‑star read for me. It had more structure and emotional footing than some of the earlier installments, but it still struggled with many of the same issues that run through the series as a whole. The book sticks closely to familiar shifter‑romance conventions—royal obligations, wolf magic, reluctant bonds—making it predictable at times but also easy to follow.

Hunter is one of the more promising leads in the series, and his motivations come through more clearly here than in some of the other novels. He has recognizable personality traits and a believable internal struggle, though his growth feels limited by the book’s short length. The heroine, similarly, has defined traits but doesn’t get as much development as she deserves. Both characters avoid being complete stereotypes, but they don’t reach the complexity that would elevate the story. Several side characters remain underdeveloped or appear briefly without contributing much.

The central relationship has potential and does contribute meaningfully to the plot, but the pacing once again works against it. Scenes between the leads often feel rushed, leaving little room for chemistry or emotional depth to naturally unfold. At other times, conversations or encounters stretch out without adding much. Dialogue is serviceable, but the distinctiveness of character voices varies, making some exchanges blur together.

One of the more consistent strengths of the series remains the world itself. The Northern Realm is simple but easy to understand, and the fantasy elements provide enough atmosphere to keep the story grounded. Events follow a logical sequence, and while there aren’t many surprising twists, the conflicts build steadily and make sense within the world’s rules.

Overall, Hunter’s Royal Taming is an improvement over some earlier installments—engaging in parts, uneven in others. It’s a quick read with some charm, but it doesn’t stand out in a crowded shifter‑romance genre.
