Vibrant" by Carol McLeod is a book that every Christian should read and put the steps she talked about into their life. This book is set up by different topics and each ends with a prayer that she asks the reader to pray. She says the most important thing to living a vibrant life is to read the Bible and focus on Him in our struggles. She also talks about worship and how if we worship in times of sorrow is a discipline that will guarantee your capacity to live a life of satisfying and magnificent fruit. She also discusses other difficult topics.

I read this book in one setting for this review, but I can guarantee I will be rereading this book, I know I say that about alot of the books I review, but this book is a sure rereading because I want to be a vibrant Christian that shows Christ to the hurting world.

This book is easy to read and to follow, if you like books that are life changing but find such books as difficult to understand and even harder to put into practice, I recommend read this book and start practicing them as you read the book,

I am so glad that I received a complimentary copy by the author and Celebrate Lit. These opinions are my own.

I have been excited about reading this book since I found out about it. I have been needing encouragement and learn how to smile in good times and bad. Let’s face it, we all want to be vibrant. I love finding out the meaning of words and the author open doors to a world where I can understand what being vibrant really means. One of the definitions she found for vibrant was, “ flourishing in every season.” Oh yes that definition grabbed hold of me and I shouted for joy. See I want to be able to praise God no matter what my circumstances are. When things aren’t going well, I want to thrive in His presence and show others that God is in control.

I loved how the author set the book up with different topics accompanying by prayer at the end of each chapter. She gives us questions to think on and digs deep into the Word with easy to understand illustrations. With all the information she provides the one thing that really summed it up was, “read your Bible.” There in the pages of the most important book ever written is truth, encouragement , hope and joy.

This book goes through different steps to show how we can be vibrant everyday. I was thinking I would tell readers what my favorite chapter was. I can’t do that because each chapter builds on each other like building blocks. When the last block is placed, we have the tools to live a vibrant life. It all works together step by step with wisdom and prayer. It is not something that we will achieve overnight and there are some tough subjects the author addresses. Prepare your heart and allow the Word to soak in as you discover how to be vibrant.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.

“Vibrant” is not only the title of this book, it also describes both the author’s writing style and the sound Biblical counsel that she shares on these pages. With this book, Carol McLeod has given us a master class on living a Christian life in an intentional and joyful way. She shares her deep love and respect for the Bible, and skillfully draws our attention to what the scripture is saying. She then follows it up with a strong challenge to internalize these truths and make them part of our daily living. This is encouraging, convicting, and inspiring reading.

Reading this book has already had an impact on my life. I’ve read an ebook for this review, but I’ve quickly realized that I need to purchase a print copy of the book so that I can highlight passages and take time to journal my way though each section. I’ll be reflecting on things this author wrote for some time to come. This would also be a great book for a ladies’ small group study, or even to go through with another friend for discussion and encouragement from one another.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Vibrant is a unique book. It talks about how some people live their life full of joy and exuberance. And just being near them is contagious and fills our cups with joy and happiness.

Why are we not all like this? Can we train ourselves into this?

We can all be vibrant. We can all shine and sparkle and radiate joy. But first, we have to not let our surroundings and circumstances influence us. Instead, we must follow God and live through that. We choose what we radiate.

I really enjoyed this book and it definitely has some parts and sections that I will be going back and reading again. It is also one that I will definitely be recommending to others. I hope you give it a try and let me know what you think too.

God always seems to put books in my path to review at the right time. Vibrant: Developing a Deep and Abiding Joy for All Seasons is a book that I needed to read the last few weeks. This is a must read for every Christian. This will be a book that I go back to as I move through various stages of life. The author has divided the book into different Topics. Once the topic is reviewed, discussed and the author closes each chapter asking the reader to pray. The prayers fit right along with the topic that was introduced and will speak right to your heart. I love the author's message - In order to live a vibrant life you need to read the Bible and focus on Him in our moments of weakness, struggles and hurt. Better said then done right? Especially on times like today - there is a lot of uncertainty in our world. That is why this book is a good companion to your Bible.

I received Vibrant: Developing a Deep and Abiding Joy for All Seasons from the Celebrate Lit Blogging Team - all thoughts are my own.

This author models how to live a glorious Christian life in her living and her writing. This encouraging book explains how to reflect the joy of the Lord in all the tough circumstances we meet in our daily lives. She shares from her own sorrows and struggles and how she taught her children with positive reinforcement. She makes it sound simple and obvious, but we know it does take purpose and consistent effort to grow more like Jesus. This guidebook can help make the path clearer and may be one you wish to read more than once. It would also make a great book for group or family discussion. Its eight sections are divided into a total of thirty-nine chapters and cover such topics as “Learning to Love What I Hate,” “Unseasonably Abundant,” and “Practical Persistence.” Her writing style is easy to understand and relate to. I think this book should be in every church library. I received a copy from Celebrate Lit. All opinions are my own.

The vibrant colors of the cover of Vibrant immediately grabbed my attention. I had to read this study. Examining topics such as “Dare to Prepare”, “Ridiculous Advice”, “Two Choices” and more this book captures the idea that no matter a person’s circumstances he or she may live abundant rich lives.

Carol McLeod provides a map by which readers embark on a journey that allows them to find joy and more. Full of illustrations, quotes, Biblical passages, personal commentary, and prayers, this book would be perfect for personal study or group study. Savor the pages of this book and the words that appear on those pages.

So if you desire a book to encourage you to find joy in the world God created, check out this book for yourself.

Completely unique book that I will be keeping and sharing with those I know. Vibrant is the title but also the way the author displays her ideals and beliefs in the book. I loved that I could feel the excitement and love in her words.

Live in joy and God's word and we can all be vibrant. This book could be a great inspiration for those that are down and looking for something uplifting or just simply someone wanting to live a happier life. The joy in God is the greatest joy we can have.

It was a 5/5 for me.

Fabulous book

I can honestly say that this is one of the best Christian living books i have ever read. I bought it after doing the You Version devotional of the same name and was delighted when i found out there was a book! I have highlighted so much (on Kindle) that it's almost all coloured in!
