Creeping Like Ivy

Before he was Brian, Todd was a serial killer. Now masked by a new job, new wife, and new identity, he plans to live out his days in the comfort of small town Minnesota.

Lauren doesn't know the name of the area she now calls home. The farmhouse is better than the cold basement cell where Todd used to keep her, but she won't mistake comfort for safety. It's not just a question of how to get away from her kidnapper — but how she can take him down in the process.

I really enjoyed this thriller. "Ivy Green" is a young mother who has been kidnapped. She tries to find ways to escape without her kidnapped finding out. This story grabbed me from the first page and the twists kept me turning the page. This story is unique in the fact that you think you know what is going to happen but the find that is the opposite of expectations. I would highly recommend it. I received this book for free and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

I was hooked from the beginning. I loved the psychology behind the relationship between Ivy and her “husband”. I loved her strength and resilience.

I must admit I was sceptical when I got this book but thought I would give it a go. It was really good and soon learnt a lot about Ivy and Brian/Todd. The ending was brilliant (no spoilers). Cant wait to read the next one.

I was given an advance copy by the author and voracious readers but the review is entirely my own.
