She's a thief in desperate need of a strict hand. He's the embodiment of punishment looking for a mate. They have a year to find what they need ... in each other.
Inside Valerie is a naughty little girl looking for love and discipline. When Krampus spirits her away to his netherworld domain, she is shocked to find he intends to punish her for every single thing she's ever stolen.
Ouch.
She doesn't expect to be treated like a naughty little girl. And she definitely had no idea how much she'd love it. Now she's learning to obey her Daddy and he's learning how to take care of a human with unusual needs.
The Little in her needs to be cherished. The woman in her needs to be dominated. He's ready to love both sides.
The Krampus Collective
Once he was a solitary immortal. A creature out of nightmare. The embodiment of punishment. As humanity grew and spread across the globe, he split apart to keep the balance. Now there are twelve.
Connected but individual, they carry out the duties of Krampus by punishing the wicked. The tears and cries of pain from their victims sustain them.
But this year is different.
It's time for each of them to choose a mate. To find that one naughty sinner who fits their unique preferences. For the first time their discipline will be tempered with mercy and care.
They have one year to find love with the human they choose. One year to convince that mate to stay. One year to punish, train, and cherish.
Each novella will stand alone. Every story will be unique.
USA Today Bestselling Author Kessily Lewel, and her darker side Sadie Marks, are two halves of the same author. All of her work falls under the category of power-exchange romance. Kessily’s books tend more towards sexy romance with a side of domestic discipline, while Sadie has been sticking to sci-fi, with her race of Dominant aliens who are looking for a few good humans to call their own.
She has been in love with fantasy, sci-fi and horror since she was a child. She grew up reading Stephen King, Asimov, Robert Heinlein, and others, so it was only natural that one day she’d write her own worlds—though hers do seem to have a lot more sex and BDSM in them.
Update: This author attacks me on her blog for a review I left for another book (although, given some of its allusions, I suspect that she's upset about this one, too). If you want to attack me, have the guts to do it to my "face" via the comments. I have no respect for anyone who conducts themselves thus so it turns out this "break up review" was prescient.
If anyone wants to read it in all its "I never read reviews; I never argue with reviews; but I'm going to do both now because I'm just here to help people" passive-aggressive glory, here it is: https://kessilylewel.com/2020/11/06/i.... Short Summary: Those who care about safety are the biggest threat to the kink community or something like that. I'll also add that for someone who "never reads reviews" and who often invokes "fantasy" and "write whatever sells" to excuse misrepresentations of BDSM, she A) Is hyper-concerned that readers are "confusing" Daddy kink with Age Play, and B) Could only know of said confusion if, in fact, she read her reviews. Just sayin'.
****
"Krampus" inflicts a year-long punishment on petty thief Valerie. At the end of it, will they become a couple or go their separate ways? Before I get to my review, I want to advise prospective readers that this contains non-consent (though no rape), kidnapping, and false imprisonment -- which are not to all tastes (including mine).
I found this difficult to review because it contains very specific tropes and kinks that will appeal to some and not others. Some tropes (cabin romance) and kinks (mild Age Play, DD, and some BDSM) are common enough; others (non-stop punishment) less so. I will say that if you're looking for novella-length erotica that is really one long detailed punishment scene absent almost any storyline, you may enjoy this -- particularly if you're fond of Hurt/Comfort and Punishment/Aftercare. While I, personally, prefer a more substantial story to underpin my erotica, sometimes all you want to do is curl up with a blanket, relax, and just read kink.
That said, it was really difficult for me to connect to the characters since the only times they ever actually talk are when the H punishes the h. While I get that the punishments were how the two connect, they just weren't enough for me. We do hear of non-punishment scenes, but they're told rather than shown: actions are summarized rather than, well, enacted. Since my preferred narrative structure isn't endless punishment scenes interspersed with the occasional plot exposition, I didn't respond to this book.
2 1/2 stars since the characters do actually converse at the end and evince some growth, and I didn't find the punishments OTT or too harsh. I do think the ending was abrupt.
TL:DR I have other reasons for not liking this book, however. Because I'm sure they'll only bother me and not others, you needn't read further if you're not interested.
I couldn't get beyond what I saw as the classist central premise. While I understand that Ms. Lewel had to come up with a believable situation that was serious enough for the year-long punishment Krampus inflicts on Valerie, but not serious enough for prison, I just couldn't get past the fact that an H with endless resources lectures a young woman with none on the "true" meaning of morality -- even though he's just committed felony kidnapping and even though he's never walked a mile in her shoes. Valerie isn't a hardened criminal; rather, she's a working-class woman who grew up fatherless, left home when she was still a teenager, and possesses no support system. In fact, what she really has is an addiction (kleptomania): psychological treatment, a living wage, and free tuition would benefit her far more than the punitive treatment Krampus doles out. Ms. Lewel tries to make this palatable, but it really isn't.
I get that these are fantasies, but I can't turn off the side of my brain that's repelled by the conservative, reactionary ideologies that I read in far too many of these generic books. Perhaps it's the times we live in, but I just can't take seriously an H punishing an h because she stole lipstick from a chain store when Wall Street bankers have plundered this country for decades (some of her thefts have more emotional weight, but they were committed when she was a child). And before anyone tries to "@me" with "story" and "fantasy" and "hot" and "groovy" -- if the ideology underpinning this book isn't important, then why does the author spend so much time detailing this young woman's "crimes?"
Given the classism infusing this book and the sexism imbuing the last (Claiming His Brat), I've come to the conclusion that this author is no longer for me. This is too bad because in the past I've appreciated her sex-positivity; lack of gender essentialism; decent writing; strong female characters; and consensual power-exchanges. I also enjoy her blog, which gives good BDSM advice that fully supports LGBTQ+ dynamics. Unfortunately, this author's trajectory is one I've seen before as writers try to stand out in a crowded market (the books start out consensual and then become increasingly "darker," which for some reason is often synonymous with reactionary beliefs -- and there are few things more regressive than denying someone books to punish them). Certainly her more recent books have appealed to others; if you think they will appeal to you, I urge you to read the many five- and four-star reviews they've already gotten. For me, though, it's time to call it quits.
ETA: For those who want to read this book: I strongly suggest NOT reading one review here since it gives away the entire plot -- something this reader does with every single book. Since she's an ARC reader, I advise authors to acquaint her with the spoiler function.
2nd ETA: I'm not an author so can't say whether or not going "dark" is synonymous with making money. I will say that this "non-dark" author (Cherise Sinclair) seems to be doing just fine.
3rd ETA: And to E.J. Frost, who has become Ms. Lewel's new BFF in their zeal to attack readers and who has reported me to Goodreads for other reviews (talk about "gatekeeping" and, interestingly, it got her nowhere): As far as I can tell, my review has neither called for nor kept Ms. Lewel from writing her book; Amazon from publishing it; Goodreads from listing it; nor you from reading it. Therefore, I'm at a loss over this: "Thank you...for calling out a One Twue Wayer for what she is and not letting her silence you." Pretty sure no one -- including me -- is "silencing" or "legislating" anyone. She has a right to write it; I have a right to review it; you have a right not to like my review; I have a right not to like what you say about my review. See how this goes? BTW: Your animosity towards me wouldn't have to do with the fact that I DNF one of your books, would it? That would be a tad unethical, don't you think? And if you're "seriously tempted" to leave snide comments for a reader who has never done a thing to you: Bring It.
Finally, save me from this: "you're taking women's agency if you insist they take basic safety precautions, including having a way to communicate if something goes wrong, even if it's not a safeword." Dear god, I can't even... Right, that's exactly what first-, second-, and third-wave feminism is for. And any middle-class white woman author from a first-world country who believes that feminism and equality are all about "choice" needs to closely examine their obviously unexamined privilege because I absolutely guarantee you that globally most women don't have a "choice" about whether or not they can feed themselves and their children.
2nd Update: Sigh. I know this is a losing battle but this isn't "BDSM" since there's no consent.
3rd Update: This woman is writing blog posts about how fiction is fiction and how dare anyone criticize it for being well, fiction. We should automatically turn off that part of our brain (never mind that she doesn't label her books "dark" or give trigger warnings, etc). In any case, regardless of how you feel about whether or not BDSM in fiction should be presented realistically, this is now the fourth blog post (but who's counting) she's written explicitly attacking reviewers. Just let it go, hon. If you're this thin-skinned, just stop reading your reviews. This is a site for reviewers; leave us in peace.
This author really know how to tell a story. You will be swept up by Valerie and Daddy Krampus as they take their journey together through Valerie’s redemption. It’s often the hero of a story that needs redemption and there’s something very enjoyable in this story turning that trope on its head. I also loved the small touches of the Krampus legend woven into the story - it gave the story a timeless feel. Highly recommended.
"Once he was a solitary immortal. A creature out of nightmare. The embodiment of punishment. As humanity grew and spread across the globe, he split apart to keep the balance. Now there are twelve.
Connected but individual, they carry out the duties of Krampus by punishing the wicked. The tears and cries of pain from their victims sustain them."
Ok, so... I know I've read some whacky, less-serious smut and erotic stories before, but this one has a more serious edge to it. Well, as serious as it can for a grown woman calling a man "Daddy" repeatedly. I will never understand the Daddy thing... *shiver* And because all we see for about the first 60-70% of the book is spanking (our protagonist says, "My butt will wear out if you keep spanking me all the time." Even she was tired of pages and pages and pages of just... spanking) it made me think about some of the themes of redemption as well as physical vs. emotional pain. And how sometimes pain can inspire pleasure...?
This book also gave off a lot of Beauty and the Beast vibes. There is a big mansion, a huge library, a beast (who actually transformed into human form so he did not have "large, curled horns, the shaggy fur-covered legs, and of course the hooves" although he DID keep his super duper long tongue...), and plenty of Stockholm Syndrome vibes to feed an entire village. And near the end, of course they fall in love and she wants to stay in his domain... but... like how will that work? How will she handle him bringing home other women and making them sit on dildo chairs and punishing them, etc? Could make for an interesting scorned woman story if you ask me...
So, on to the lusty bits. It was not overly done or in a totally unbelievable way... I mean there were elements of Fifty Shades, sure, but I guess all books like this have those features? I have read so few that I am not sure the consistent tropes within the genre. But the word choice was not cringey and some scenes were steamy. Again, the only thing that irked me and grossed me out was the constant "Daddy" this and "Daddy" that.... *barf*
All in all I would give this 3 stars... and I think that readers who explore this genre and type of story might rate it higher. Krampus will get you if you're naughty... you better watch out!
This was an amazing sexy read. It gave all the sexy Krampus I needed lol.
When I say “new kink unlocked” it’s not the exact dynamic. It’s the dominant/submissive punishment part I enjoy. However, when it’s a “little” persona, I have to come out of it in terms of sexiness. I don’t even want to read books where characters are under 25 so reading a woman channeling her inner 10 years old doesn’t do it for me. Especially when I’m looking for sexy.
I’m hesitating to continue the series because I’ve never been a fan of the “little” persona kink and I think that’s the basis for all the books. I looked into the author and that seems to be her niche. I’m not going to take away from the rating for it because I did enjoy the read. No shame to anyone who is into that particular dynamic btw.
Edit to add.. each book is a standalone. So I’ll continue the series.
This a story with a supernatural Being that becomes a Daddy almost from the beginning, it is what I consider a rather unique take on an age play story and found it quite enjoyable there is quite a bit of spanking which I found pretty hot, there was not very much in the way of sex, but there was some nice anal play with a butt plug and a dildo that was hot. I plan on reading Daddy Sir and other books by this author soon.
Seasonal quickie. Krampus is everything punishment, but now he is on the hunt for a mate. I liked this short read, but something just felt off for me in the writing.
Corny… I know but man this book really brings it with the whole dynamic, and being Krampus…. Well, one can infer. I absolutely adored this book and can’t wait to read the entire collective!
..............it just ain't for me. It's a heavy daddy kink and honestly that isn't my favorite. I do not know what I was expecting. It's called daddy Krampus. I need more coffee
I want to start this by saying that I'm very much into the kink themes of this book, and I consider myself the target audience for this.
That said, I didn't like this one bit, the mild age play was awkward as hell, the d/s relationship was a cluster fuck with Stockholm sprinkle on and the 'holier-than-thou' punishment was abhorrent. We have a young, poor FMC that comes from a broken home, who is keptomaniac, but had for a resonable time stolen to support herself, and commits petty theft (lip gloss, shiny trinkets etc.). Said FMC is kidnapped by an immortal being to be punished for her crimes. A immortal being that doesn't abide by society's rules, that has powers to creat his own home and that kidnaps people annually to punish them for their misdeeds, BUT ALSO to feed on their punishments (could we say ta he STOLE FOOD??)
The whole situation stinks of rich people privilege and it's absolutely disgusting to watch. Where does this MMC gets on lecturing this woman on how she stealing a gloss eventually leads to the whole chain store closing??? Be for real
Krampus predates Christianity, and has nothing to do with Christmas or Santa. He and his brothers (also known as Krampus) each have twelve days to choose their next source of food for the year. They feast on pain and remorse. Valerie is not evil, but has many black marks to make her punishments last all year. He needs someone more than a little naughty, and who can be redeemed and purged through severe punishment. A kleptomaniac, Valerie suits his purposes. This year, he is also choosing his mate. He looks into her heart when choosing her, and sees that she craves a Dominant to take her in hand. She needs discipline, which made them a perfect match. He catches her shoplifting and stops her. She starts to panic and cause a scene, but nobody around them seems to notice. When he slips them into an alternate dimension, she collapses. Krampus takes her to his home and manipulates reality to make it seem like a place from her dreams. Her room is fitting for a little girl's fantasy, Valerie is more deserving of punishment than others, but she also desperately needs firm direction. Underneath all her sins, she is a genuinely good person. The next morning, she gets her first punishment, a spanking, and Krampus explains who and what exactly he is. He does not tell her everything though. He leaves out wanting her as his mate. When Valerie asks what to call him, he tells her to call him Daddy. She hesitates, but he does not budge. Daddy it is. He finds himself more patient with her than he has ever been before. He starts to think it might be easy to love her. He does not usually use spanking as punishment, but he would punish his mate differently. She also had other punishments, like writing lines, among other things. When he punishes her for a crime committed when she was a child, he punishes her in her room, when she is in a little girl mindset. He even cuddles with her after the fact. When he punishes her as an adult, there might be sex involved, and he punishes her in his room, a BDSM paradise. Both kinds of punishments fill different needs for her. His domain is timeless, and he does not typically celebrate human holidays, but for Valerie, he makes an effort. Time does pass though, and their relationship evolves. He worries about her choosing to stay when their year is up. At first, he does not recognize it, but he feels fear, among other human emotions. The months flew by faster than he anticipated. There never seemed a good time to talk about it. He has fallen in love with her. The closer the end of their time together gets, the more anxious Valerie gets, and the worse her behavior gets. She hopes he might want to keep her. She has fallen for him . They get their HEA. She will be his sub and wife, and he will be her Daddy through eternity. She finally has someone to love her. This story is even better than I thought it would be. I really love it! It is well written, and a love story for the season. I cannot wait for the next brother to get his in the next book. I actually stayed up all night to read it one sitting!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Krampus, the Spirit of Punishment, normally searches out humanity for a naughty human to bring to his domain for a year's worth of punishment for every bad thing the person's done. Krapus thoroughly enjoys & take pride in his work. But this year, he's searching for a different type of naughty: He's hoping for a mate. And in his searching he comes across Valerie, a kleptomanic to whom he is physically drawn.
He whisks away & thus begins a year of punishment for the initially unrepentant Valerie & the determined Krampus. But then something odd & unexpected happens: Valerie is finding she craves, & derives s*xual excitement from, Krampus' punishments as well as his dominance & it feels natural to call him 'Daddy' or 'Sir'. But Valerie has A LOT of thievery to atone for, as a child & adult. As Krampus & Valerie both find themselves developing more & more feelings for the other, they realize their year together is swiftly drawing to an end.
And Krampus finds himself increasingly worried Valerie won't voluntarily agree to stay & be his mate. Because if she doesn't do so voluntarily, Krampus must return her to the human world leaving him bereft & alone.
I found this one to be very well written, original, enchanting, subtly romantic as well as sensually steamy. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, I found both Krampus & Valerie's characters to be delightfully intriguing & had my fingers crossed for a happy outcome for them both. Together. It's a quick, fun, heartwarming, light read with steam enough to spice it up & a wonderful romantic thread woven through it with just the right touch of suspense to keep the reader on delicious tenterhooks.
A very well done sweet, spicy, original romance to sink into & enjoy.
This is the first book I've ready by Kessily Lewel which is surprising because I am an avid reader of her website 'Musings of a Chaotic Mind' in which she discusses all manner of BDSM lifestyle situations in a frank and entertaining way. It's one of my favourite places on the internet.
So it's no surprise that Kessily Lewel can write a damn fine BDSM novel. This book, the first of an ongoing series, takes us into the world of Krampus, the mythological embodiment of Christmas retribution. Centuries ago, Krampus took a decision to split himself into twelve separate entities in order to better manage the increasing workload brought about by the world's escalating levels of naughtiness.
Krampus feeds on the sins of wrongdoers while also, helpfully, enabling them to see the error of their ways, through presumably untold amounts of pain and torture.
We get to see the nicer side of Krampus in this book though. He's looking for a mate and so his target this December is pretty petty thief, Valerie. Her sins might not be big but a lifetime of magpie-like pilfering means that they are plentiful and Krampus intends to punish her for every single one of them.
He also intends (in Beauty and the Beast Stockholm Syndrome kind of way) for her to fall in love with him. I'm not going to spoil the ending for you (because, let's face it, we all know how this is going to go) but suffice it to say there are a lot of bumps on the road to get there.
He was always going to capture her heart though, because deep down, the two things that Valerie needs most of all are a loving father figure and kinky spanky sex. Daddy Krampus is a gold medal champion at both those things.
So I was close to finishing my book challenge and just wanted a quick read to help me get there, and this was suggested via KU. I’ve never read this author but the premise sounded interesting so took the plunge. Honestly I was not impressed. I actually put the book down for a while because I found the characters dry and annoying. This was definitely not the right book for a quick read. I have read a lot of books involving Daddy/little and Dom/sub as this book implies with the Daddy and Sir dynamic. But I felt like this book was all over the place with so too many tropes to really understand how a relationship develops. I have read some kink before that while it might not rev my engine, I’m sure it does for others, and I’ve been able to still enjoy a book even without my engine revved. This book was not like that. It started out ok. But when Krampus himself admits that he doesn’t really have the same desires as humans, even with the author telling us that he started to feel bad about some of these “punishments” I completely lost the romance aspect of the book. I guess this book just wasn’t the right one for me.
This book takes a children horror story and turns out into something naughtier and with a lot more context. I love how the author takes time to explain the myth and use it to enrich the plot instead of just as a prop. This does contain some DDlg elements, so if you're not a fan of those, you probably should find something else to read. This is a unique naughty Christmas themed romance.
Valerie is a thief. She can't help it. She started when she was a child as a way of seeing if she could get away with it. Now she's doing it as a compulsion. She doesn't really need it and she doesn't steak expensive things, yet she can't seem to stop. Krampus, the creator that deals with disciplining the worst of the worst had come to earth to look for something a little different than normal. He usually just looks for someone redeemable to punish, this time he's looking for his mate, and the little thief is exactly what he needs and wants... After she repents. He has a year to convince her to stay, but can she agree to live with him for the rest of her life? Is he really what she wants?
Krampus gets a special treat this year as the one he has chosen for punishment is the woman who will be his mate if she accepts his offer once the punishment year is over. Valerie can’t believe what is happening and learns fast that Krampus is serious about her punishment when he puts her over his knee for a sound spanking. As the punishments go on, Valerie learns just how much pleasure can be mixed with pain as Krampus brings her to the brink over and over keeping her on edge so that when she earns a reward he brings her to the heights of ecstasy. Krampus delights in watching Valerie grow as she understands the ramifications of her actions and Valerie realizes how much her feelings are growing for Krampus. But as the end of the year draws near, Valerie will show Krampus he needs a lesson as well if he wants to keep her as his mate.
I received an ARC of this book via Book Sprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This has turned into quite a new experience for me all the way around. A new Goodreads friend had recommended 'Daddy Krampus' and after reading the blurb, I thought why not?! That being said, Kessily Lewel is a new author to me so I really had no idea what to expect from her world-building or character development. I was worried for nothing. Not only did I learn quite a bit about Krampus and the mythology behind him but the author put her own personal twist to the story and brought him to life. I took such joy in this story, I don't really want to give any of it away, and even giving you more tidbits than are in the blurb might make me carried away and I don't want to spoil it. Just know between Daddy Krampus and Valerie, this storyline flows perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Interesting and engaging storyline - well executed.
To be punished for EVERY naughty/wicked petty crime, Valerie is in for a world of hurt! Even though Krampus is the 'spirit of punishment' and he feeds on sin, you can tell that he treats Valerie differently and see the sweetness of the relationship he hopes to build with her.
With the heat contained within these pages it is amazing they do not self combust! A Dominant and a Daddy with a side of magic - things that dreams are made of. A very enjoyable read filled with lots of imaginative detail to appease your Little and not so little fantasies.
I really liked this story. I really love the Krampus mythology woven into this romance, and the setup for future books. I had lived in Germany for a few years (some two decades ago) and think it’s really cool (and fun!) to see this fascinating Christmas persona become popular in the US again, these last few years, especially with movies and such.
As for this particular story, the hero was wonderful, and I really enjoyed the scenery — not only the atmosphere the author created, but her detail to scenes in where the heroine lived. I loved that the hero chose to acknowledge and build for the heroine her fantasy place to live.
Valerie grew up without a father and a mother that paid very little attention to her. To compensate she started at a young age to stealing things. Which didn’t stop when she got older. Krampus picks a humane that needs punishment for doing wrong. All of them usually have. Guideline line Cheaters bad lawyers etc but this time they could make their own choice. He chooses Valerie because if successful in her redemption he wants to have her choose to not leave when the year is up. He finds feelings he didn’t know he was capable of. But will it be enough. I enjoyed this book it was different than most I read.
I am actually not a big fan of "other wordly/shifters/alien" romance books . But this book was absolutely fantastic .. I loved it from beginning to end , now I got this one for free from book funnel but I loved it enough I am going to buy the rest. Valerie needed a daddy and the Krampus collective decided it was time some of them found their mate . he say her and thought she would be perfect. He changed his domien for her and became her DD and her DOM. He learned to love , she learned to be loved and what every little indiscretion no matter how small affected those around her. She was punished and rewarded.
This book is classified as Romance, and is book one of the series. It does not have a trigger warning list. This book is written in third person, so it is a bit different than what I have grown use to, and is a short little Novella.
This book follows Krampus and Valerie. Krampus is looking for his mate, and Valerie is a manager at a shop in the mall.
I gave this book five stars. The reason behind that is due to how well it was written, for how short it was. It had amazing backstory and such to it, and I would definitely read again in the future.
This is the first book I read from this author and let me tell you that I loved it! Such a good book with great characters that keeps you obsessed with every page since the first one. The ending of this book.. come on! I just didn´t expect it! Can´t wait to read other books from this great writer! Amazing job! a must-read!. A fantastic book that has it all! I happily endorse this story to any and all who are looking for a romance enjoyable read and a completely different experience than anyone could imagine on their own. Great book!
Krampus has to pick a human to punish each year but this year is different he needs to find a mate . Valarie is a petty thief who never seems to be punished for her crimes. When Krampus find Valrie he knows she’s the one. But can he punisher and get her to want to stay after the years up only time can tell.
I enjoyed this book it wasn’t the best I’ve read but not the worst. There is some age play involved which I think is done well. There is also some darker kinky smut involved. I’m thankful that the author was very clear on the differences between the two. Over all its a solid book
The rating for this is likely less the book and more me. I have read plenty of D/lg romances, but I found this one very hard to connect to. The characters just didn't grab me the way romances usually do. I felt no connection to them at all, which in turn made it hard for me to connect to the book as a whole. Perhaps it was due to him being a "monster" or "mythical creature" but coming off as just a human with superpowers. I was hoping for a little more, but for me, it fell flat. It was still a good story, with a compelling theme behind it but not something I would read again.
CW: This is a Daddy Kink and has BDSM play This book was recommended to me because I love Krampus. This was such a good book. It got the legend of Krampus right and added a new dimension to the historical figure. I love the premises on why they are looking for a mate. It had plenty of sexy times and character growth. If you like your holiday romance with a little bit of magic and a little pain then this book is for you.
A fun easy to read book. Valerie has a penchant for stealing little things and Krampas has her for a year to punish her for her transgressions. Lots of sizzle and chemistry and as Krampas realises his growing feelings for Valerie, he hopes to get his Christmas wish to have her forever.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved it. Perfect balance of humour, romance and spanking. The book itself was nicely paced and the developement of the relationship between the two characters was very natural. Watching Krampus himself evolve over time was interesting and well written too. Should be on everyones Chridtmas list!!!
Daddy Krampus has a mix of everything from second chances, mixed with Paranormal being set around the holiday. Valerie is given a choice after being caught shoplifting a lip gloss to take it back or prepare the consequences. You will have to read to find out what she chose & what else awaits her.
I really enjoyed reading this very well written, very specific storyline. I enjoyed the details, some minor, while others had a huge impact. I enjoyed both sides, the humanity and the lack of it. I really enjoyed this authors storytelling ability. The ending, made me smile.
