Redemption
Priest turned Vampire, Preacher 'Mac O'Conner' has suffered heartache of the worst kind in his long life. The Cado send the final message to Preacher and the one Nex that stole everything from him is back, and now he wants Tavern too.

This is my Second book in the Custos series. Preacher and I both found Redemption in this book. I with my writing and editing and he with life in general. I LOVE THIS BOOK! He is and will always be my baby!

Melanie Walker’s “Redemption”—book 2 in “The Custos” series—invites readers back into the dark and deadly world of the Custos vampires where danger lurks around every corner and betrayal can occur in the blink of an eye. Walker brings back all of the extraordinary main characters introduced in “Bliss”. She also introduces a host of new characters to keep the storyline interesting. “Redemption” focuses on the story of Preacher and Tavern, which is as tragic and tormented as it is erotic and uplifting. Although Walker spends the majority of the story on Preacher and Tavern’s complicated love for one another, she does take time to advance the storylines of other primary characters such as Cash, London, and Leushus. The circumstances in “Redemption” trigger a chain reaction of events that are not without significant consequences for the characters and release a well of emotions for readers. “Redemption” will have readers laughing, crying, and begging for more…and the release of “Infatuation” later this year.

SPOILER ALERT
I hated how the author portrayed Preacher in this book. A complete 180% from book one and it was too much. The book was really boring. The author could have removed multiple chapters and the story wouldn't have been effected at all. Book didn't start to get good til after 60% in. Then tons of stuff happens. A lot of opportunity was missed with this book!

I read Bliss months ago and just got finished with Redemption and am stressed because Temptation is not out yet! I'm not a lover of cliffhangers and I feel like I'm dangling about now! Needless to say I Iove these books! Sexy beautiful vampires and strong willed women are bloody dripping from every page! More please!!

Oh sweet lord! I love love loved this book. Preacher showed an absolutely different side of himself this time and as always there was no disappointment. I can not wait until the story is continued!!!

I loved Preacher in the last book but I'm on the fence about this one.everything is so up in the air for all of them. Will just have to wait for the next one and hope we get some answers!
