Le deuxième tome répond à la promesse faite dans le premier : sauver ce qu'il reste d'humanité dans ce monde post-apocalyptique. Les stratégies se mettent en place, les individus s'allient pour mener leur dernière guerre.

Le dessin est nerveux, toujours en mouvement, presque trop parfois, mais cela ne fait pas perdre fil. Alma est très plaisant à lire et à découvrir.
La suite, la suite !!!

The second chapter in Shinji Mito’s four-part story is a great follow-up that builds upon the characters and locations that we met at the end of part one. I am highly enjoying the story, even though this time around It was harder to follow what was going on. This chapter continues the mystery of unraveling Ray’s role as Zero and how he will affect this post-apocalyptic world’s destiny.

In every step of Ray’s journey, he meets more people that make the story interesting. Lukiana was especially one of my favorites. She is an interesting character that shows a lot of potential related to the story that is still left to explore. Besides both of them, I wish some of the other characters had bigger or more interesting parts to play, as they felt too one-dimensional.

In terms of existentialist topics, Alma delivered so much in the first part, something that is always appreciated. However, this second chapter focuses more on storytelling and worldbuilding related to the factions and why they fought with each other. I am really digging the universe that Mito has created and I can’t wait to see how the battle at Alma will play out in the next book.

Luchiana e Ray fogem para nova Moscou, onde conhecemos o irmão mais velho da comandante que a prendeu de um crime que ela não cometeu sendo que a verdade, ele queria elimina-la para virar um comandante querendo invadir alma sem permissão dos superiores, mesmo descobrindo tudo, ela conseguiu cumprir sua missão, e decide destruir a manipulação da prisão dela que o irmão fez, decidindo ir para Alma, sem a intenção de invadir, pois o local é onde que o Zero decide ir... (na realidade, o Finn queria tirar a irmã do comando e banir ela de Nova Moscow, mas decidiu não fazer nada e desobedecer seu pai), no Julgamento, Luchiana cansou do teatro de seu irmão fazendo o que os juizes negassem a sua prisão, teoricamente, eles descobriram que o Finn tem a chance de desobedecer o Conselho, pois ouviram ele falando tudo. Houve lembranças entre os irmãos, o Finn descobriu o motivo de Luchiana ter entrado na guerra, pois ela não queria que seu irmão fosse seguir o caminho que ela teve que passar, pois a avó tinha falando sobre roubo de vidas, pois muitas vidas foram perdidas nas guerras. Após o pai querer atirar nos dois, ele percebeu que os dois tem determinação e coragem de ir para Alma, que infelizmente foi invadido pela "JIA", a organização que queria destruir Ray e Rice.

J'ai préféré ce deuxième tome car on entre vraiment plus en profondeur dans l'univers et l'action, on s'attache davantage aux personnages et on est vraiment lancés dans l'histoire.

Le premier tome était assez descriptif dans le but de mettre en place correctement l'univers et ça rend ce second tome bien plus intéressant car on a toutes les clés pour comprendre les enjeux auxquels sont confrontés les personnages, j'ai hâte de lire la suite !

Es interesante, ya conocemos un poco más de la humanidad que queda, pero siento que fue un tomo puente, realmente no pasó mucho, fue como para presentarnos estos nuevos personajes y entender un poco de lo que buscan hacer y como sobreviven.

No puedo con lo mucho que estoy disfrutando Alma, no es nada de lo que acostumbro a leer pero que me está encantando mucho
