Imani Imani hates her life and her waitressing job. She’s stuck in the small town of Crystal Lake with no money, education, or way to escape. And then Aiden and his friends come into town. People aren’t sure if they’re a gang of bikers or something else. There’s this odd sense of power whenever they are around. But when Imani meets Aiden, desire instantly bridges between them. There’s just one thing standing in their way. He’s a werewolf—the alpha of his pack and the one who created the rule that shapeshifters can never breed with humans.
Aiden Haunted by the past, Aiden lost his family in the Mystic Wars. His pack and he have been searching for a safe town to call home. But the attraction to Imani fogs his head. Aiden finds himself torn between loyalty to his brothers and the raw burning hunger raging in his core. Even worse, evil brews within the shadows, threatening to consume Crystal Lake and the new woman he desires. Can he figure out a solution or lose it all?
Kenya Wright wrote her first novel during her third year at UM Law school. She dropped out a month after the release and never looked back.
Words are power, and Kenya wants to be the greatest wizard that ever lived.
It's an audacity to inspire and teach the healing of love through arousal.
It's this crazy idea that love can not only help a reader escape, but the story can also teach the person about being human, while making them laugh, cry, and hot for more sex.
"They were beasts. Wolves. Supernatural creatures with huge claws and sharp fangs." -Imani
Repeat read!
And so a new and exciting series begins with "werewolves, witches, and vampires. And I thought the creepiest thing this year would be the presidential election." -Imani
"Seduced by Moonlight" by Kenya Wright was everything that I enjoy reading in an engaging paranormal romance! As the first book of the series, SBM was SUPER imaginative with strong primary and secondary characters focusing on the origin of the Moon Goddess and her distribution of power to the moon-touched witches/warlock, shapeshifters and moon-cursed vampires. And yes, power does "corrupt absolutely" with the moon-touched witches in SBM but love finds a way for Aiden aka King and his human aka fatal, Imani giving us a thrilling and daring HEA in Crystal Lake!
Lest not forget that KW's illustrations were EXCELLENT to match her creative storyline along with the BLACK LIVES MATTER and even the 2020 presidential election references! Oh and that prophecy, well read it and see for yourself!
Looking forward to the next stories in the series!
Let me start off by stating the book’s strengths. I LOVED THE ILLUSTRATIONS. I’ve never seen this before in this genre and I loved it. You never knew when they’d pop up, so it was a nice surprise. The illustrations are also well done. I definitely want to buy the coloring book.
Now on to what didn’t work. The whole story was cheesy and read like Wattpad fanfic. The overly sappy dialogue to the long, overdrawn out inner monologue of the main heroine who waxed on and on about the same thing. Even the lines Aiden had that was supposed to be romantic made me roll my eyes so hard that I saw the back of my head. I also did not get what Conri brought to the table. It was like listening to a Golden Retriever. No thanks.
Overall, the book is a rushed, disjointed mess in many ways and may I add that I’m sick of reading about big women who hate their bodies. Imani was sexy AF! Stop it. I know she claimed she liked her curves but insulted her body on multiple occasions. Stop it! Definitely 2 out of 5 for me.
In true KW fashion, this was a great book! I loved it all the emotions, the suspense the action and of course the HEA. I’m already a Kenya Wright fan, but I’ve never read her paranormal books before and for this one to be it, I’m hooked. On to the next one! PS: Read this book! ✌🏾♥️
I liked the story. Really liked the characters. Of course i wanted more. Definitely a twist on the werewolf stories I am used to reading. I enjoyed the legend and of course the illustrations were amazing. Hopefully there will be another book after this one.
So in love with the characters from this read. Aiden and Imani had instant connection and a love reading books like that. The read has excellent character interaction, a plot that flows, a little mystery, intrigue and a whole lot of hot sex. I highly recommend you adding this one to your library.
Imani had all but given up on love. In walks Aiden into the diner she works in. Their souls awaken. He's so smitten, but how can he tell this beautiful human that he's a werewolf and his mate nonetheless? She's so attracted to him, but she's been hurt too many times before. There's also her sister to consider. They live together. Aiden's pack will watch over Imani along with him. Meanwhile, a band of witches are trying to stop a prophesy from being fulfilled by sacrificing one of their own who is mated to a member of the pack. This is a wild tale of intrigue.
This is the story of all stories about wolves, witches, vampires..AND LOVE. Aiden knew Iman was his mate. And errybody knows, shifters mate for life. He took his time with her, allowing her to decide if she wanted to not only be his mate, but be a part of his world. This story is simply beautiful. AND SO FREAKIN HAUUUUUUTE!!!!
Aiden is my big "teddy bear"!!! It's amazed me how one little woman can turn a big Alpha Wolf into mush!! Aiden has lived for about a 100 years and by now didn't expect to ever meet his Mate, and a « fatal » of all things!? And Imani hasn't been lucky in the relationship department... Well, que sera, sera ! Imani, Aiden and his pack will have to battle a lot of mystical beings to protect what theirs. Great read! And, the illustration 😋😋😋😋

"Seduced by Moonlight" by Kenya Wright
My Speculation:
If you are into a beast, werewolves, witches, vampires, humans,[fatals], and shapeshifters, you have come to the right read for this fantasy/paranormal romantic read of 'Seduced by Moonlight.' This author works her magic as she gives the reader as 'love finds a way for the aka King Aiden and his human, aka fatal Imani that leads to one enjoyable read of what happened there in Crystal Lake.' Will the 'band of witches be able to stop a prophecy from being fulfilled by sacrificing one of their own who is to mate a member of this pack?' Here is where I say you will have to pick up this read to see how it all comes out in this intriguing love story.
I liked the wonderful illustrations that went so well with the story. I can't say enough about some of the character's somewhat hilarious and well-defined interactions, such as Conri, Harper, and Blaze, Harper, Raven, and Damien. Be ready for some hot erotic steamy sex scenes that will come into play that will leave you in awe of it all and definitely have one wish for their own Conri.
In the end, you get a good fantasy/paranormal love story that will leave you wanting more from this author.
This was a fated mates/Shapeshifter romance that was actually pretty good. The main characters had lots of chemistry, and the plot was OK even though it was very short. Very spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I wish there was more to the series. I would like to hear the other characters’ stories also.
3.5 Interesting story and characters. Wonderful narration complements the vivid description and suspenseful storytelling, brilliantly brings story and characters to life and draws you in right away. I'm interested in reading more of this world.

I truly loved this story but am hoping that this isn’t the last that we’ll see if this wolf pack!! I wanna know how Imani transforms into a great Luna, what happens between Blaze and his mate and Damien and his witch mate! I’m I vested and now I feel addicted! Go ahead and give me an IV of more paranormal from KW!!
I enjoyed reading this novel. It has been a while since I found good and well develop BWWM paranormal novel. I read the story in one setting. I couldn’t put the book down because it was so intriguing and also I loved the character sketches throughout the novel.
Please Ms. Kenya write more BWWM Paranormal novels.
This is the first paranormal book I read by Ms. Wright and I loved all of the characters. Now I want to see this made into a series, there has to be a book about Damian and Raven. I would love to see the children grow to be the warriors.
I really want to love the hell out of this book yet it didn’t happen. To me, it was just an okay read and I hate that for me. The book has illustrations inside during certain parts of the story and I loved that. However, there were Loads of over explaining!!! At this point I feel we don’t need to be told what an Alpha, Beta or Delta is in a pack. We definitely don’t need a science class on pheromones or ovulation. Everything was dragged out unnecessarily. There were lots of back and forth and by 60 percent they still didn’t secure their mating bond. This book told a different story of witches, werewolves and the vampires and I don’t know yet if I like it. Something was just missing from this story as whole. I felt too much time was wasted on Aiden trying to convince Iman that she is his mate that we didn’t get any backstory on Iman and her being moon-touched? Also, the connection between Aiden and his wolf Conri left me with a side-eye. The way he controls his dreams didn’t sit right with my spirit. All in all, this book had mad potential but for some reason it just didn’t all come together right for me .
Loved every minute of this book!!! I swear it took me two days to read this. First off, kudos to your illustrators for the fantastically graphic imagery, you get a A+ for that alone. Second, you can’t beat chemistry and Imani and Aiden had it in spades. Conri was hilarious as well as Harper and Blaze. This was a great book full of hot wooded sexy, werewolves, witches with warts and love. Aidens love for Imani was just everything and every woman should want that kind of love. Quick question, are we getting a book two and three for Harper and Raven?? Just asking!! Anyway this book was fantastic, great job Kenya Wright, great job!!!
This was a great read. Great sex, lovely characters. I really enjoyed the pictures, especially the one where Aiden and Imani are having sex in the woods. You wrote the scene and the picture depicted your words. More authors should use the odd picture now and again. Hope there is a book 2.
Kenya always finds a way to hook you into a good plot. I’m looking forward to finding out the significance of the vampire series Imani was reading. It was a fun read.
I read back to back KW novels in 2 days....and they are both very hot and erotically pleasing in very different genres.... As her t shirt says Black Heroin Matters😘....but seriously... Her BBW shifted romance is a adorable novella... Aiden and Imani are smoldering together and it could be an exciting new series.. I wanna read about Raven and Damian next😉😋
Kenya is becoming one of my favorite authors. This is my first read of hers that delves into the paranormal universe. I will definitely continue to read other character's stories if she expands the series. This is the 2nd book of hers that I have read in which illustrations accompany some scenes and it's a little bonus I didn't know I'd appreciate.
This book was slightly different with the pictured but that is what made it so much better. I would love to read more about this pack although it matched up many of the couples in this book. I love this author's style.
I've been a fan forever and have never been disappointed! Ms. Wright's books are always page turners keeping you in the edge of your seat. Such a beautiful love story that has opened the door to do much more!
Takes me back to the world of Sookie Stackhouse novels...but better. The emotions and attraction that Imani and Aiden have for each other are so hot and I love the world of the Moon touched, cursed, and fatals. I hope more there will be more books to this series. Forget twilight...im over vampires, werewolves are much hotter.
