Pros:

Recipes are simple, quick to prepare, and use healthy ingredients. Includes large color photos and a variety of recipes to cover every meal, snacks and sweets.

I did not have the time to actually try the recipes (full disclosure- I just like reading cookbooks), but I'd be willing to go back and give it a chance because several appealed to me even though....

Cons:

The layout is disorganized and misleading.

For example: Were you to follow the recipe for breakfast tacos (yum, right?), eggs and corn tortillas are listed as the only necessary ingredients. Any seasonings for your eggs and the butter to cook them in are listed as optional with no measurements other than "As Needed or To Taste", but are used in the directions in a way that suggests they are necessary. They're also not listed until the very end of the recipe, which could be confusing for some.

Of course you can tweak seasonings to your taste. Sub oil for butter or omit altogether. But if someone really wants to pare their breakfast tacos down to JUST eggs and tortillas (and this is a point that applies to most of this book), do you really need a $25+ recipe book for that?
