Our Only Hope: Living a Life of Freedom

Rate this book
For those trying to weather through the storms of life, Grace Rockwell offers encouragement by sharing her own experiences and what she has learned from them. Growing up with chronic pain and in a negative environment, where she was often rejected and alone, Grace learned to put her trust in the Lord. No matter what storms she faced, or how much pain she endured, Grace always came back to the Lord for help.

Grace's experiences will encourage you as you face your own storms in life. She reassures the reader that we can trust that God is always with us; He has a plan and a purpose for our lives. Our Only Hope will take you along Grace's journey to find that the redemptive power of God is our only hope, and it can become an anchor for our souls.

Grace's passions include not only spreading the good news of Jesus Christ, but also advocating for those suffering from chronic pain, domestic abuse, and/or mental illness.

Today Grace lives with her husband in a small farming community in West Michigan, not far from where she grew up. She and her husband have four grown children and nine grandchildren.

As you read, Our Only Hope: Living a Life of Freedom, you will be overcome by the obstacles Grace was faced with in her life from an early age on. Many of us have not had to bear such constant struggles.
It becomes obvious that Grace’s faith is what holds her up and keeps her going. Her discussion of her beliefs in God and scripture may challenge your own beliefs, if you take your faith for granted, or neglect to nurture it.
This is a great book which makes you realize that there is no trouble too big or too small to place before the Lord, who is always watching over us!

Blessings in Jesus! My sister Kristyn Dykwell gave me your book for a birthday present recently, and I noted the Goodread platform site of which I've been a member for about year now. Lorilyn Roberts is the other author that prompted me to subscribe here. I have yet to actually begin reading your book just going over the cover notes. I am a daily reader of The Holy Bible, a Berean (Acts 17:10,11) in effect. With so many other biblically based books to read I look forward to eventually reading yours, Lord willing. Sincerely, Randy (Randal) Dykwell
