We’ve secretly lived among the humans for centuries. Anonymity is our weapon of choice. But that’s about to change.

An altercation between were-animals was caught on video and went viral. Now a vital member of our pack is sitting in jail and if I can’t get him out before he shifts during the full moon, then our existence will be discovered.

If we are outed, there is a risk we'll take the rest of the supernaturals with us. They’ll do anything to prevent this from happening, including ridding the world of were-animals.

We were once a pack of hunters. Now we are the hunted.

McKenzie Hunter is the author of urban fantasy, dark fantasy, and paranormal romance books. She discovered early that new adventures were just a page-turn away; all she had to do was read a book. She’s had her share of escapades from hanging out with vamps, joining the chaos of shifter packs, creating spells with witches, and avoiding deals with the fae.

When she isn't working on her next book, she’s reading, binge-watching TV, or disappearing into her own world during nature walks (probably on the lookout for magical beings—or maybe not).

Funny that for all of Skylar's rebellion and constant admonishing of Ethan, it was Josh who made him realize his controlling nature was suffocating. Their honest conversation in Book 5 brought upon so many hard truths for Ethan but it continued here in this installment and it was a good development. Now that he's open to Josh about all the secrets behind his curse, Josh now has the power to get through to Ethan and make him more self-aware of his own tendencies - masking his controlling nature as being protective. It made him try to understand Skylar and consider her feelings unlike before.

In Skylar's series, it seemed like his change and character development was abrupt, turning him from an asshole to a considerate man in such a short time. But his POV showed it wasn't as abrupt as it seemed. There were so many inner battles and contemplation he had to go through to realize his mistakes and shortcomings. That was a great way to make readers understand Ethan's behavior.

Dwindling interest

I like the story line of these novels, so it is a shame that I am saying this, but these last couple have not Ben the best. In the early novels, Ethan had his own voice and perspective of the happenings around him. The last couple of novels have felt very copy and paste with the Sky novels. The voice doesn't change, and it feels like the same person is writing them and it is hard for them to separate from Sky's viewpoint. I am going to continue, but am hoping they get better.

Ethan is dealing with everything that is hitting the pack right now. The video footage of Steven, his arrest and court date. He knows who is behind the video, he is determined to find out how deep it goes. He is not sure if he can save Steven, he will do whatever he needs to
Ethan is also concerned about Sky, something keeps attacking her. He feels helpless he can't help her against it. He feels off balance with her, because he is not sure where they stand. He decides he wants to take the relationship further, even though they are mated. They are still dealing with Quell, that puts a wedge between them.
Ethan also has to tell Josh the truth about himself and what happened when he was kid. Ethan is afraid that this will ruin their relationship.
With the threat to the pack, the pack will have to call allies and others to tell them. Things don't well for them

There is so much more in this book than what I wrote. I honestly did not want to ruin it for the readers. This book shows so much more due to Ethan's point of view. You will get more Sebastian, Claudia and others. You will see just what Ethan feels for Sky, his pack, how his view is changed. I recommend reading this, this book is quite the ride.

Best Ethan POV yet!!!!!!!! It was riviting and that to me is a sheer sign of excellence because after having read Sky Brooks Darkness Unleashed and seeing events from Ethan's point of view I was blown away that it could adds so many new layers to the overall storyline it was amazing!! If you love the Sky Brooks series this hands down a must read and if you haven't I highly recommend checking it out. It is a series to be devoured.

I must also add this book really highlights his amazing Ethan really is because sometimes he just seems like such a control freak but through his POV's we see his fears, joy and humor in ways never fully revealed in the original series. This book like the original is full of all the same exciting twist and turns it was action packed to the point I stayed up multiple nights in a row so I could read it twice.

I love how much more insight into the Sky Brooks world this book adds! This is soooooooo much more than just a POV it brings so much to the table it not only fully compliments Darkness Unleashed it has it's own unique and vivid story.

I can't wait for more! If your on the fence dive into the series you won't be disappointed!!

So I never figured I would say that one of Ethan POV books would become my favorites because he can be such an alpha hole but I have so fallen in love with him. The humor is always there in Mckenzie's books which I love but there was so many twists and turns and action I could not put it down. It kept me up until 7 a.m. to finish it but there was no way I was putting it down. I learned so much more about what was happening that I had been curious about after the Sky Brooks series it all fits so well, which I can only image is a difficult. ANOTHER HIT, amazing story, amazing characters, amazing chemistry!!!!!!! MUST READ!!!!!!!!

As always McKenzie Hunter goes above and beyond. I fell in love with Ethan in book 1 of the Sky Brooks series and this book had me falling in love with him even more. This book and his point of view ties up loose ends that I always wondered about from Sky’s point of view. Ethan’s love for his pack, for Sky and for his brother runs so deep. There are no words to describe it. I’m so thrilled I stumbled on to the Sky Brooks series and to McKenzie Hunter. I have read each and every book she has written and will continue to do so. I cannot recommend this book or series high enough. They are all must reads. Thank you McKenzie for the joy you have given me with your books.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and I think you will too. It is brilliantly written and gives you great insight into his thoughts and feelings towards everyone and everything that goes on in their pack life, it’s lovely to see him and Sky progress into a loving but challenging relationship.. and all the woes that come with it. I think I fell in love with them more and look forward to the next one!! Thank you for writing such amazing books!!! If you have never read any of these or Sky series I highly recommended that you do!

I've died and gone to heaven 😍

This was soooo good! I loved reading Ethan's pov to this part of the story. So many extra scenes that were absolutely brilliant to read, such as his revelations to Josh, his planning of the engagement, and seeing his pov when Sky was kidnapped. Opened our eyes to a whole different side of him, a softer, more sentimental, more vulnerable side of him that we weren't sure had much sway over his life and actions previously. Can't wait for the last book, but terrified too cause then the Sky Brooks World really will be over. 😭

absolutely love this series and this newest addition did not disappoint me. McKenzie Hunter has such a smooth way of writing that every book I have read of hers just flows so naturally that they are a joy to read.
The Sky Brooks series is seriously fantastic and I am so enjoying Ethans POV’S. This story is filled with kick butt heroes, bad guys, love and family. It will tug on your heart strings and have you cursing!
I don’t like leaving spoilers so all I’ll say is get this book and if you haven’t read any of this series what are you waiting for? Happy reading!

Another amazing look into Ethan's world!

As someone who doesn't normally read series from a different POV , I love these books means a lot! Seeing things from Ethan's pint of view really makes it feel like I'm reading the story for the first time and in a lot of ways you are . There's so many new things to learn and experience . Plenty of action , lots of character building and a wonderful romance . I can't wait for the next book !

Darkness Revealed is the 6th instalment in Ethan’s POV of Sky Brooks series and its doesn’t disappoint.
I loved everything about this book and I know you will love it too. It packed full of action, laugh out loud moments, romance and so much more. In this book you really get to see the struggles Ethan goes through with his loyalty to the pack and the rules and his love for Sky. Its beautifully written and can’t wait to read the final book in Ethan’s POV.

Darkness Revealed

Another great book from McKenzie and AJ. It is good to see how Ethan struggles with his feelings. He always seemed so in control and sure of himself from Sky's POV. It kinda makes him more human. No mater how many times I reread the story and even though I know hhow it will end I still can't put it down when it's time to go sleep. And I still get a book hangover whan it's finished.

Ethan is everything. I absolutely loved Sky’s POV and story but this is even better. The more I read the more I got sucked into the book. I wasn’t a big Ethan fan before reading his POV but this book made me not only love him as a character but feel for him. There are so many things that this book gave me perspective on that never even occurred to me. If you love SBS you really need to read this.

This book literally brought me to tears! The emotion shown by Ethan about Josh and the depth of his love for his brother was so touching! I love seeing Ethan's love for Sky shown here. His fears and insecurities, his loyalty to his pack, the depths he will go to for all of those under his protection...the hidden Ethan is revealed!

ok, you need a box of Kleenex to read book 6

Just when you think that things can’t get worse they increase 10 fold. As Ethan and Skylar get closer and closer problems arise from so many enemies that it looks as tho life may end before they ever see peace. A must read series. Each character is so real that you begin to hate or love them. Best series ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Omg! I totally love Ethan. This book just goes to show that Sky really needs to buy Ethan his own Golden globe for his super awesome acting skills. Who would have guessed all of the doubts and turmoil going on inside.

Intense!!

Sky and Ethan grow closer- but so does the risk of being discovered. It’s endearing to see how much Ethan loves Sky after everything they went through in the first few books.

Another good read

As with all the books in the Sky Brooks series, this is also enjoyable while not doting too much on mundane details. Moves along smoothly.
