The middle of nowhere keeps getting more interesting!
Little Jewel, Indiana, has seen a lot of changes over the past year, to include a dozen new students at Jewel High who all happen to be Martians, not that any of the other students realize that...yet. The locals are getting more and more suspicious of the athletically gifted and attractive newcomers who all seem to have a connection to NuAgra. What's really going on out there anyway?
Marsha, known at school as M and to the Martian people as Sovereign Emileia, is already stretched to her limit trying to keep her people and their secret safe. Now she learns of a devastating new weapon that could destroy the whole town of Jewel, Indiana, including its fledgling Martian government center disguised as an agricultural research company.
Fortunately, she doesn't have to face this menace alone. Along with her soulmate Rigel, she now has two other newly-bonded couples by her side. Maybe, if they work together, there's a chance their bonds of love and friendship can somehow avert the looming threat...before it's too late.
The much-anticipated continuation of the electrifying Starstruck series, where teen romance blends with science fiction to open a whole new world of action, adventure and discovery!

This story is great. I have waited sooo long for this story, and it does not disappoint. I love the way all the couples are brought together. I love that each person/couple can do different things. I truly hope there is another book.
As much as I love this series, it’s sad and infuriating to see how nearly all the adults all these books later don’t respect the protagonists as people with their own autonomy and capability to make decisions. I can’t wait until M and Molly turn 18, maybe then they can start putting the disrespectful adults in their place.
Another great installment in the Starstruck series! I love how the three bonded couples each bring unique skills to the table, and I loved the format: spending some time in each of the six teens' point of view, while starting and ending (appropriately) with M.
Mrs. O'Gara became annoying in this book and needs to be knocked back several notches, but that's why we have antagonists.
While I'm hoping this isn't the last in this series, if it is, it is a good one.
There are 3 couples, M & Rigel, Sean & Kira, and Tristan & Molly. These three are related, as Molly and M are sisters, Sean and Molly were raised together, but they all share something much bigger. Each couple have formed a bond stronger than most couples, as they have the graell bond talked about in Martian myth. They also find they can, in certain cases, talk to each other telepathically. Which serves them well, as they face a danger to not just them, but the whole town of Jewel. They really do find themselves superheroes-The Bond Squad.
I really enjoyed this series, and like I said, I hope there are more books to come.
The latest in the "Starstruck" series that.combines teen romance with science fiction, Author Brenda Heart goes in a different direction. In previous books, she established three Martian couples who share a special bond. Now, she has combined the couples special bond powers to.overcome the latest challenges to the Martians on earth. My only critique is the first part of the book must spend much time introducing the characters. This is the seventh book in the series and most readers already know the characters and their storylines. But Hiatt continues to bring her wonderful characters through a great story!
I didn't get very far and I just don't feel like reading the rest. I think what made me throw in the towel here was the amount of information being spewed out by every character. I know the information is necessary, but it just toes the line of being info-dumpy and I need more regular dialogue to keep my interest. I'm not disappointed because I know myself and I knew going into this that there was a good chance I'd close it early.
The four books with M and Rigel are the absolute best in the series, and the one with Molly and Tristan is pretty good, too, so I'll definitely keep coming back to those.
Another wonderful installment in the story of M and her friends as they continue to set up the new Martian government here in Jewel. Told from the points of view of the main couples of the last few books its great to see how the relationships develop even further from their original stories. Well done!!
I liked that this one had all the characters POV, but I also felt like each character's section was too short to really add to the story. Like just one little thing would happen per person and it would move on the the next person, so it made it feel disjointed to me. I guess a book can only be so long, but I wish each section had had more depth. I did really like the ending.
As per expected this series is a wonderful read!!! Ive always thought this story was uniquely wholesome and exciting ! Im looking forward to more. Thank you
I was worried about having 3 bonded couples. I didn't want to see the bond get ordinary. The way this story is formatted, such that each character gets their say, was a brilliant way to highlight the distinctions in the bonds and the relationships within the couples. This formatting made each bond individual and special. I really loved how the story progressed from one character's POV to the other. My one complaint was that I thought this was the end of the series but it left room for so much more story telling. I'm a little grumpy and excited for more at the same time.
I love this series and this latest book is no exception. We find out that M is still not in the clear from angry and traditional Eschans. And neither is Molly. I like the push Molly's mom gives her to be more than she wants to be. I like the maturity M shows in dealing with people. I like the connection the six high schoolers have with each other. And I want more! Please!
