This is a strong book for middle to late beginning readers. There is strong repetition, but the repetition changes mid-book. The story is the typical three little pigs story, but there are fun extension activities-- a build-a-house art extension, comprehension questions, a picture dictionary, a picture story board to put in order, and a find the pot game on every page.

The repetitive rhyme makes this version of the classic story fun for children to both hear and read. Colorful illustrations make the story even better!

My absolute favorite rendition of this story. The humour and the rhymes remind me of Julia Donaldson's work. A keeper
