Benregesh Protector

Rate this book
Kaleb Mastiff’s first few days of detective work have left him bloodied and exhausted, but wasted time is wasted money, so it isn’t long before he leaps back into danger as the newest full-fledged member of the Benregesh Detective Agency. Despite the hell he went through, however, Kaleb’s trial by fire was just a warm-up compared to what awaits him. Enemies lurk in the shadows and at the head of the government, waiting for the perfect opportunity to rid themselves of him and the Benregesh. Somewhere in the midst of all this violence and death, the Necrothrall is planning its next move. Kaleb has to find it before it kills anyone else, but that’s only if he can avoid dying first.

J.C. Chambers III

Back in the Summer of 2006, J.C. decided to write fun stories. And much to the exasperation of literally everyone around him, he never stopped trying to write fun stories.

Now, it's so many years later, and J.C. is still writing fun stories. He's even published a few of them. Hopefully, you like those stories. If not, everybody has their own tastes, so it's cool.

If you like giant-scaled anime-inspired fantasy epics, you'll probably like J.C.'s books. If you like watching paint dry, you might not like J.C.'s books.

If you like deep, unorthodox world-building that mashes together a bunch of influences, you'll probably like J.C.'s books. If want to read Lord of the Rings knockoff literature, you might not like J.C.'s books.

If you like seeing Japanese and Thai influences in fantasy novels, you'll probably like J.C.'s books (he lived in both of those places). If you prefer your fiction set solidly in fake medieval Europe, you might not like J.C.'s books.

J.C.'s favorite activities include talking, hearing himself talk, writing, reading what he wrote, and talking to other people about what he wrote. He also likes video games, programming, history, anime, mechas, mountains, rivers, oceans, monkeys, dogs, cats, and singing badly. He does not like hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, or the sound of dull pencils on paper.

Lastly, his favorite person in the whole world is his wife Tasha. After that, it's probably Steve Irwin.
