Mom of two rockin' girls, Reader of everything, Author of The Dragon Guards series and many more surprises to come!

I am a sarcastic, sometimes foul-mouthed, not afraid to drink a beer, always southern woman with 2 of the most amazing teenage daughters,
a menagerie of animals and a voracious appetite for reading who recently decided to write the storied running through her brain. I read my first book, Dr Suess' Cat in The Hat by myself at 4 and was hooked.
I believe a good book along with shoes, makeup and purses will never let a girl down and that all heroes of all the books
I have ever read or will ever write pale in comparison to my daddy! I am a sucker for a happy ending and love some hot sweaty sex with a healthy dose of romance.
I am still working on my story but believe it will contain all of the above with as much SPICE as I can work into it. CHEERS!

This is a cute paranormal romance, but it is just too short to have enough character development. Molly and Nate were a cute couple, but the story needed more background information on both of them. Oh, and Molly really needed to learn to curb her tongue -- she got herself in trouble a lot, just because of things she said.

Molly was mostly likable, but wow, she had a strange relationship with her cat familiar. They fought constantly, to the point that it was hard to believe they actually cared about each other.

There wasn't a lot of information on Nate, at least not from his viewpoint. I would have liked for the book to include more of his perspective on their forced breakup and his years away from Molly.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

For witch Molly Brown, her pumpkins are ready and are bigger than any year in history - which is great because it is time for this year's "The Brown Family Pumpkin Patch Pick-A-Beauty and Win a Jack-O-Lantern for Life Party-stravaganza". Then she realises that there is someone in her pumpkin patch and so she rushes out with only her trusty cat Cleo on her shoulder only to see the scales of the Great Dragon before he disappeared again. Can she sort out what is going on?

I love the Dragon Guards but I definitely really disliked the style of this book. I found the accented and self conversational style of the writing of this just irritating. However, ignoring that, I loved the premise of the story and the events that happened and how they ended. There were drama and excitement as well as a pairing of perfect partners that just could not be denied. Contains some sexual content.

OMG it's been 15 minutes since I finished this book and I'm still laughing and my head is reeling! Where does this author get all this crazy???

My gosh, Molly Brown of Nowhere, USA is so ready for the yearly Brown Family party (I won't even attempt saying the whole name of the party) her pumpkins are oh so ready. But just as she's having a snit fit with her Familiar Cleo, she hears and then sees who she never thought to see again because it could only be him although she's never seen him in that form because he was supposedly a Null, (now I'm prattling on like Molly) Nate Archer the love of her life.

Nate has come back and is never leaving again, he's a Dragon Guard now! His parents were to blame for him and his brothers disappering all those years ago and here I was blaming my family of Brown Witches because he was a Null.

Haaahaaahaaahaaa! I'm still laughing Love it!

Short and Sassy

I guess there's another series I haven't read. Possibly, I would've liked this one better if I'd read it.

This book is obviously not meant to be serious, so I won't pick apart internal inconsistencies or parts that don't make sense. The title is brilliant, and making the heroine "Molly Brown" was a great idea. The heroine is sassy and funny, and her family members are also funny.

The problem is, there is no plot. At least, there isn't a problem Molly can solve. She has been in love with her mate since she was a kid, so there's no getting to know each other misunderstandings. She's not mad at him. A dragon showing up in the pumpkin patch isn't really a problem. There is some conflict with her mate's parents, but it comes out of nowhere, Molly can't do anything about it, and it is quickly resolved.

Book Review: It's the Great Dragon Molly Brown (Dragon Guard Holiday Love Stories Book 1)

REVIEW
What does a girl do when her egotistical feline Cleopatra won't shut up, and when there is someone hiding in your pumpkin patch? Right before the festival of the family is to begin? Well for Molly it means getting out of her warm bed and finding out what is going on before it ruins everything. This witch is taking names and whooping them later.
What is she going to do though when her one and only appears in the very place he shouldn't be? Will she grab him by the scales?
Too funny this one. Molly has her hands full for sure.

Hilarious 1st person witch story

Molly Brown is a witch in charge of the all things pumpkin patch, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin latte, you get the idea. She is in love with Nate Archer, a Null (a non-magical, non-shifting being). She hasn't seen him in years, but she certain she loves him. Then there is that pesty dragon in her pumpkin patch. What else could happen before Halloween?

This fast paced comic romance is sure to tickle your funny bone. The characters are funny, snarky (even Cleo the familiar), and sassy. I like that the characters are unique and sassy.

Highly recommended.

Julia Mills never disappoints with her amazing ability at story telling. It's the Great Dragon Molly Brown is no exception.

Molly Brown is THE greatest witch in the world but is alone. Her one true love was sent away many years ago and she has spent the years tweaking her craft. Nate Archer is a "Null". That is, he is a shifter without an animal or magic.

When a Pumpkin Patch bandit is revealed and Molly is kidnapped, all involved lives will change forever.
I highly recommend this book. This is my honest opinion of an advanced copy I received.

I must say the light-hearted craziness of these short books are entertaining.
A very dysfunctional set of parents, a sleep flying dragon and mates long separated cause serious mayhem.
Cleo the crazy familiar was a hoot and liked the other characters we meet.
Poor Nate and Molly, all those years lost due to Fate having to bide her time to see which way the Archer boys would go.
Will be fun to see the brothers fall.
This is a different style of writing from this author to what I prefer but enjoyable in a different way.

What fun adult version of the great pumpkin! Love it!! It's a quick, fast paced short story about a love destined to be. There is the rambling, goofy, sarcastic Molly Brown, Nate Archer the love of MB's life, Big Daddy and Mama Archer two crazies, and Cleo MB's cat familiar, witches, dragons and shifters, along with a few other fun characters. Everything circles around the story about the family pumpkin patch and a prophecy that changes.... fast paced, drama, family, fun and love. A great adult Halloween tale. This story will put a smile in your brain!!

Now he is back, with a huge surprise for the beautiful woman he has been in love with forever. However, someone has other plans for her, & it just may take her crazy family & Nate to get her out of it!

Cute Halloween/Samhain story a la “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”, except in this one there’s a Dragon shifter instead !! If you like quirky heroine’s with magic, and hunky Dragons that appear right when you need them to save you, then this Paranormal Romance will make you laugh until you’re snorting Southern Sweet Tea out of your nose !! 4⭐️’s

I hated it. It's too chaotic, the exposition never ended, it happened in the middle of things and completely broke the pace, not to mention most of it is completely irrelevant. The "jokes" were beyond cringe, and everyone was like Pinkie pie on steroids, but stupid. Everyone.
Explanations don't explain anything, and there were a bunch of moments when the words were strung together disguised as sentences that were not sentences.
I got this for free, and I still feel like I paid too much.

Molly Brown is a witch of the Brown Family Coven along with her cantankerous familiar, Cleopatra the cat, in Nowhere U.S.A. She's in charge of the special Halloween Extravaganza Party where all supernaturals and humans mix and mingle. This year she has a big surprise coming her way. Of curse, there's always a hiccup. There is an evil couple who kidnap her to take her powers away. She's rescued by quite a surprising group and one of them is her big surprise!
This is another hysterically funny, magical and romantic story. Loved sassy Molly-she's a riot, I loved it and so will you.

Crazy!

This book was pretty crazy! She was madly in love with the guy who was taken away while still in their teens. They both knew they were truly in love with each other. Years later they find that they are both special. But getting there is pure bedlam!

Molly Brown Rocks

When I need a book to bring me up, I look for a Julia Mills story. Molly is a snarky witch with the power behind her to prove it. She is in charge of the pumpkin -extravaganza every year. This is way better, Charlie Brown!

Hilariously Funny

OMG! This witch puts the "fun" in dysfunctional! Between her and Cleo, I was seriously LMAO!
All jokes aside, this story is a testament to true love. The distance and years of separation never dulled their feelings for each other.
