Welcome to Callan.
I might be Level 99, but I'm still a noob. That's Zane's permanent nickname for me and he doesn't seem keen on changing anytime soon. Murry is his snarky self and Sam is a bright-eyed thief ready to take on the world.
My team has gotten us this far and we have a mystery to solve, and a psycho Game Master to outrun. Maurice is on our tail and he's followed us into the bowels of the Vampire Abode. When we run into not one, not two, but four Game Masters, we're in for the fight of our lives.
Sacrifices will be made. Lives will be lost. And in the end, the universe code is at stake.
This is an adventure that I will win. This is a game that I will not lose.
Welcome to Reborn Online where meeting your maker has a whole new meaning.
Dungeon Seeker is Book 2 in a LitRPG / GameLit series “Reborn Online” filled with unique monsters, a snarky AI, and Neil's quest to unravel the mysteries of the universe code!

After reading Dungeon Worlds, I definitely was left wanting more of this world, so here we are. And once again, the vivid descriptions are epic; I feel as though I’ve been dropped into Epoch myself and find myself marveling at its beauty.

This one’s exciting right away, and I do recommend reading it after having already read book 1 in the series for a clearer understanding on the world and return characters.

4 stars.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Note:
I read the Audiobook; the narrator sounds great, very pleasant voice and scene-appropriate emotions, and different voices for different characters. A fun listen, 4-star performance.

Very interesting game-lit story of a guy trying to survive and thrive as a new player in a game world while he keeps gaining experience

I loved this story. The author did a great job with these characters. A story of a group who were trying to outrun their enemies. Full of snarky banter, epic battles with great creatures and of course some cunning villians. A story you won't want to put down.

Weiss' writing and Baldree's narration are a wonderful combination.

Disclaimer: I received a free ARC Audio copy in exchange for my honest review.

This is my first experience with Aurora Weiss' work and with Travis Baldree's narration. The author has done a great job of creating interesting characters, a good storyline, and well paced action. Her attention to detail and descriptions make her LitRPG world and story easy to visualize and to follow. Baldree's excellent narration & voice brings each character to life & infuses them with personality. Weiss and Baldree are a wonderful combination. I enjoyed the story and would definitely look for more from this author and narrator in the future.

Great introduction to LitRPG 4.5⭐

Parents: appropriate for 12+
Language: None
Violence: Moderate (nothing disturbing or incredibly graphic)
Sexual content: none

This is a very interesting story without being a full out DND tale (so not many super technical terms or abbreviations). A great intro to the genre and an all around entertaining adventure that leaves you ready for the next book. This is largely kid appropriate as long as your kids can handle moderate descriptions of gore and murder. I would read this again purely for fun.

Narrator has solid differentiations, good pacing and tone.

Received an audio review copy narrated by Travis Baldree, this is an honest review. This is a intriguing Gamelit adventure as Neal, Sam, Murry and Zane travel through an ever game world that is slowly being corrupted by glitched code; which adds to their troubles as they are hunted by Game Masters' seeking to make their death within the game permanent. The audio book is brilliantly done by Travis... completely captivating you in the humorous dialogue and harrowing twists to the adventure. Highly recommended.

Another great story by Aurora Weiss and another excellent narration by Travis Baldree! Loved the character development, plot, and momentum of the story. If you are listening to the audio version, Travis does another amazing job as you can tell he loves the LitRPG genre. I look forward to the next book from Aurora!

Nice sequel. This books takes off right where the first one left off. There is a fun cast of unique and quirky characters that become endearing over the course of these books. The plot is interesting with some dungeon diving action.

This is a did not finish from me. The first issue is partially my fault. I didn’t realize it was a sequel when I requested it as a review copy. Though it also wasn’t indicated in any way.

The second issue is the genre. This is the second (third? The other was a book 1, parts 1 and 2) LitRPG I’ve read. There are certain aspects of this genre I find utterly obnoxious. The biggest annoyance (in audiobook form) is the robotic voice reading off a bunch of stats and numbers. Those things never meant a thing to me even when I did play videogames. Trying to remember that nonsense while in the middle of a story just isn’t going to happen.

I wouldn’t call this a bad book by any stretch of the imagination. I enjoyed the characters, world-building. The character interactions were all excellent. It feels like a well fleshed out world. I just couldn’t follow along with the lack of context.

The narrator is all kinds of insufferable. First, he says o like it’s a number. That insufferable as all hell bit aside, he’s one of those people who puts way too much extra emphasis on wh sounds. Saying things like hhhhhhhwhen, hhhwheeled, hhhhhhwheze. People who talk like that are insufferable enough. But he’s not even consistent about it. He said while and where normally, which makes me wonder if he’s just being annoying by choice.

Had it not been for the insufferable narrator, I’d have given this a second listen with my modicum of context. That or had I at least the context of part one. Unfortunately, I don’t have any Audible credits and I already have a book on my wish list.

I think if you’re into literary RPGs, this will be right up your alley. At times it feels like a fantasy RPG and other times it feels like a narrated D&D campaign or something. It’s not bad, it’s just not my thing.

NOTE: This copy was provided to me free of charge as a digital review copy. The opinions stated in this review are mine and mine alone, I was not paid or requested to give this book a certain rating, suggestion, or approval.

3 stars as this book occupied my time and I would recommend it to people.

What I appreciate about this novel is that it doesn't try to be anything it isn't. It doesnt lie to you, it doesnt manipulate you, this novel just sets out to be fun and thats all it cares about.

I know This is only a 3 star for me, but I greatly enjoyed it. particularly the addition of Sam in the dynamic. He is the one mystery and purely enjoyable as a character. The pixie we funny and the increased boldness was welcome.

Overall this isn't a literary masterpiece, but its a fun read. I'll continue to pallet cleanse with only litrpgs due to this book and I'm thankful for its influence..

This still doesnt feel like a novel, it feels like the book and dungeon worlds should have been act 1 and 2 of a much larger book.

This was my first experience with Aurora Weiss' work and it was fun. I enjoyed it quite a lot. There was a lot of action involved. There were times where I laughed out loud at the antics and snarky comments of the characters. I was intrigued by the machinations of the Game Masters. I recommend this story and I'm interested in the next book in the series. Travis Baldree's narration was excellent. He provided different voices for the characters. His delivery and expressiveness added to the audiobook's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

More of a 3.5 as there's a chance I'll listen again one day
More of the shenanigans that happened near the end of the last book and we get more insight into the higher ups of this "reborn online"

Zane, Sam, and Neil continue their quest and to escape their pursuers. Care to join the chase?

Overall it's a good romp but not much depth at the moment but looks hopeful.
Sadly this is the last entry at my library for now.

Short, action packed and entertaining LitRPG.

The world expands in fresh and exciting ways without loosing the feel of chaotic inexperience that comes from Neil's total noobness. This time the challenges aren’t just about survival—they’re about strategy, morality, and trust. Neil dives deeper into the game’s structure and purpose. Zane continues to be a sardonic, dry humored grump (I love him).

The story telling is pretty well balanced between action and plot. We also start to peek behind the curtain to the greater mystery off this virtual world and why all this unexpected errors are happening. All in all, it was an entertaining read that focuses on the important bits without unnecessary fetch quests to sidetrack the reader. GGWP (Good game, well played for non gamers <3.)
