Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Very nice. Loved reading these short stories about characters that I met in other books and see how they were doing after those books. I didn’t know Jess and Lena from Heart Failure yet, but the short story made me go read that book which was nice.
When I first bought this ebook, it was primarily to read the short stories by Lee Winter, Jae and Chris Zett. I hadn't read any of the other books. Now that I've read two more - All at Sea by Cheyenne Blue and A Roll in the Hay by Lola Keeley, I was able to better enjoy more of it! I just need to read the two books by Fiona Zedde and A.L. Brooks (I'm making my way through her catalog!) and then I can have the full appreciation of this collection! It's quite the ingenious move putting this out. These shorts garner interest in reading the full length novels. This really is the short story collection that keeps on giving! It gets five stars alone for First-Class Villains.
I haven't read a lot of the other author stories inside this anthology. I mainly got it to read the update for Denny and Eliza from Jae's Wrong Number, Right Woman .
A wonderful selection of short stories that not only keep the story going for some well-loved characters but also excite and intrigue new readers to the original books the stories are based on! Every story was wonderful and well-written and I greatly enjoyed every single one. My TBR list has also expanded thanks to this lovely collection.
Eight short stories make up this amazing anthology from the wonderful authors at Ylva Publishing. Each story is a sequel to or involves characters from their full length novels.
This was amazing, some of my favourite authors contributed with stories about characters I have already met and adored. If you haven’t read the novels from which these characters originate that doesn’t matter, as each story is standalone and will make sense even if you don’t know the characters. If you do know the characters, then it is just fantastic to be back with old friends!
As always, what is good about anthologies is you can discover new authors if you haven’t experienced their work before and will hopefully be inspired to read more of their novels.
I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite of the stories because they were all so different and each unique in its own way, but I will say one thing for this, if you are a Lee Winter fan, in her story First-Class Villains, she has outdone herself! It was pure perfection.
A great short story collection that I highly recommend, completely enjoyed, and will read time and time again. If you haven’t grabbed a copy yet, what are you waiting for, it’s FREE!
I always enjoy when we can get glimpses of beloved characters after the books have ended. And we got here so many wonderful authors. Couldn't be better
3.8 star rating Unsurprisingly for most anthologies, you get some that are enjoyed and others that you don't. Gladly I have two still entertaining my memory and others that were alright enough for me to go search for their full stories. This is an anthology by WLW writers who have graced my shelf overtime and for some stories that I was already acquainted with the characters, it was nice to go through their lives again albeit short in this anthology.
Cheyenne Blue The Other Captain is spot on Protesting to save the Great Barrier Reef Lee Winter First Class Villains a clever short story of 4 Ice Queens from her best selling novels waiting together for the fog at Heathrow to lift.
