I really enjoyed the book "Nelson Mandela: A Voice Set Free," Written by Rebecca Stefoff. It was wonderful. If you didn't hear, not to long ago, in fact last week, Nelson Mandela died. He was imprisoned for 27 years. He was placed in prison for saying his thoughts and feelings about the british moving in on their land and taking it over. He was an amazing spokesman also. My dad saw him speak and when he was talking about him he got choked up. He was powerful. But he used his power in a good way. Not like Kim Jong II. He had a hard life but he figured out how to make it okay, how to make it work. Nelson was married to Winnie Mandela. Did you know the first thing Nelson Mandela said after he got out of jail was "I Shall Forgive These People Who Set Me In Here." The only man in history to be imprsoned for 27 years and come out thankful and forgiving. He had a very intresting life. This is definitly a AutoBiography. I really recommend this book.

I read this on the airplane as I flew to Johannesburg, South Africa, in January 2014 because I wanted to learn more about the man who was set free after 27 years behind bars. I was disappointed that the book was published in 1990 just after he got out of prison and I couldn't read about his life when he became president of South Africa. Even so, I learned a lot about him and apartheid.
