A serious cute second chance romance!

Honestly I can’t stand both characters like the amount of misunderstandings and shouting at each other were ridiculous just because they divorced due to “personality differences”. No I disagree, they both are just constantly at each other’s throats nearly in every chapter. I tried giving this a chance to reading a good few chapters but it was a torture to read. Yeah I HATE this manhwa man😡😡😡😡

Finally a manwha where the couple actually communicates and deals with any misunderstandings of the past within the first 10 chapters !!! I liked the storyline and the art was equally gorgeous yet disturbing. It's not the best thing I've ever read but it was entertaining enough.

This manhwa appeals to me! The artwork is beautiful! Oh, especially the modern hanbok designed and worn by Ye Garyung, the female protagonist! They're stunning! 😍😍
Fiery Enemies' idea, in my perspective, is reminiscent of one of Ika Natassa's novels, Divortiare, and one of Korean dramas, Emergency Couple! They have a similar story about a divorced couple who got divorced due to "personal differences," yet they still have feelings for each other deep down.
Ye Garyung and Han Jae-yoon make a lovely couple! They try to give them a second chance to be together and to make things work. I have to admit, it's a bit of a cliché story because Garyung and Jae-yoon had a lot of misunderstandings that led to a lot of fights! But seriously, it's still a super fun, amusing, and interesting manhwa! I had a great time reading it!

Why such low ratings? Maybe the dynamics of relationships are too much to take?
Ever heard the song 'We don't talk anymore... like we used to doooo....' BY Charlie & Selena? that's exactly what happened with this couple. They married young, didn't know any better about how to take care of each other, show emotions & be vulnerable. But the will of Garyung's Grandmother who knew that her granddaughter might end up alone, requires Garyung to get back with her ex-husband Jaeyoon & live with him for 3 years to inherit the 15 Billion won she is leaving to her as a property.
Jaeyoon was still studying to become a lawyer when he and Garyung got married. Garyung was a housewife to him. Jaeyoon had a friend who was also interested in him. Garyung had uncle, aunt & cousin who abused her when she was a kid and haunt her even now. However, Jaeyoon suffers in his studies because of this. Which pisses off his mother who blames Garyung for his set back. Garyung who was already feeling alone and sad felt like there was no escape except for divorce. Jaeyoon who saw her with a male-friend of hers, feels the same. So, the HUGE communication gap send them on a gut wrenching journey to divorce & being alone for 7 years until the will of her grandma brings them back together. Initially both didn't want to go for it but something made them. ;)
Will they find love again and find a way to stay together this time?
Fluffy story, cute romance between the couple. If you are a person who has suffered at the hands of relatives/friends in your love story as well. You will be able to relate well to this story.

This was one of the better manhwa that I've read recently. It's clear that they genuinely love each other, but their need to be perfect makes them hide things from each other. If they were just honest with the each other from the beginning, them things would have been so much easier. The FL was very annoying at times. "I don't want help even it if hurts me" attitude was too much and very irritating.
ML wasn't perfect either. He tried to the perfect to the extent that he was smothering FL and could be very overbearing at times.
Honestly, I could see them divorcing again in several years if they don't improve their communication. They fight and push each other into proverbial corners too much to be healthy.

Ah, I picked this up a few months back on Tappytoon and now it's finally finished. This is a really cute, fun story with a realistic, well developed romance and main characters. The romance is swoon worthy and the art is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it and really enjoyed reading it. 4.5 stars.

This was a cute reread. The art is really pretty, and the characters are endearing (even if occasionally frustrating). I wish Jinsuk had had a side romance storyline. He did a lot for them. 4 stars!

February 18, 2025it was enjoyable for a while, but it felt like the ml and fl moved too quickly, felt like they didn’t even bother with the slowly rebuilding their relationship. also, their eyes are very far apart in some panels and it threw me off
