I was sent an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I've read every single one of author D.F. Jones books, and I have enjoyed every single one! So, when she asked me if I wanted to read her new novel, I immediately said yes, and just like the rest it did not disappoint.

This novel is the perfect read for this month! It has all the paranormal elements you look for in a good October read witches, vampires, wolfs and so much more. The novel revolves around the witches and their power struggle over dark and light magic, our main witches name is Jasmine and oh, how I loved her character! She was so sweet, but she was also a rebel that took crap from no one, especially her dear grandmother who may I add was one crazy witch; I also loved how selfless she was. Jonathan is the poor mortal and love interest, I absolutely adored him! He was quite the southern gentleman and any girl would be lucky to have him by her side.

This book is very fast paced and grips you from the first chapter! I really enjoyed how Jones tackled the prejudice that witches had against mortals and vice versa, as the book progresses Jones shows us how those prejudices evolve for the better and how they come together to help each other. The novels plot thickens several times and it had me at the edge of my seat. I love romance in my novels and Jones made sure to provide us with plenty of it, and even though some holes were blown on my ship, I still loved the ending. The only thing I wish had been done a little different was how rapidly the characters fell in love, I’m just a sucker for a slow burn romance. Other than that, this novel was a great paranormal read, and has me hoping for a sequel because I just need more of these characters.

This was such a great book. If you love a paranormal book, you will love this one. It has it all, witches, shifters, wizards, a little agony, and a lot of love. The story grabs you at the beginning and never lets you go. I cried so much throughout the book because the emotions were so high. It has a great storyline that hooks deep into your emotions. If you love a romance with meaning, you’ll love this one. What a great story. The author has another hit on her hands.

Withes, werewolves and wizards. This story has it all! Spells and potions mix with romance to bring you a powerful story that will bring both insight and entertainment. This is the first story I have read from this author but it won't be my last. Fantastic. I highly recommend.

Another brilliant story by D.F. Jones! She takes you on an incredible journey filled with magic, both good and evil. She weaves an intricate web of love, despair, hope, and hate in each chapter, bringing both the past and the future full circle. Spanning from 1915 until the present, you’ll take a trip back in time, where all seems normal, until Jonathan meets Jasmine, a witch in Hant Hollow. As the story unfolds, the plot thickens repeatedly, and D.F. Jones once again reminds us that good always triumphs over evil.

This is my first book from D.F. Jones and I loveeeee it, definitely become a fan of her writing.
I have a doubt at first, because it started in 1915 and historical romance is not my go to book, but this one is different, the story goes from past to present and with all the magic happening from the beginning I instantly got hooked.
The spells, charms, potions, shapeshifters, bring me in a world full magic.
The twists and turns, the war between Light and Dark, the revenge, the betrayal and all the love make me can't put this book down.

As for characters. This book is full of strong characters and they all hold important part. I can feel all their pains and struggles. And I can't pick favorite, I love them all, Jonathan, Jasmine, Carlton, Lavender, Victoria, yes I love these characters.

Awesome story full of magic with strong characters and many twists. So overall, I love it.

If paranormal romance is your cup of tea, this book is a must.
Or if you're looking for a book full of magic...literally, you need to try this one.

This is the story of Jasmine and Jonathan. Tired of hiding in plain sight, she befriends Jonathan when he rescues her from being attacked by boys throwing stones. When her mother curses him Jasmine must find a way to rescue him. Will she succeed? I enjoyed this entertaining story. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I do not know how to explain it, perhaps, she has some of the Princess of Light in her genes.

This story has it all, witches, wizards, goddesses, immortals, vampires, werewolves, and other assorted magical creatures, all the while she blends, shakes, twists, and stirs love, hate, greed and the overwhelming desire for power to make this a powerful story. This story is very difficult to put down to complete our daily needs such as eating, sleeping and just plain going to work as the story continues to play in our minds.

I would recommend this story to all as there is something for all to love and enjoy.

Thank you, DF Jones for another fantastic story for our enjoyment.

What a good story. You know, you grow up with stories about witches. I grew up with Glinda the Good Witch, and then there was the Wicked Witch of the West. This book is so much more. You learn about the prejudices toward the witches, and the prejudices they have toward others. You hear about the lies about them, the truths, their homes, their loves, their losses. This is a wonderful book with such amazing insight. And it allows us to see into those lives easily. I love the characters. They are so alive and real. I found this story to be fascinating and well-written and hope to read more about the Witches of Hant Hollow.

Amazing as always! I have been a huge fan of D. F. Jones since I've read her Ditch Lane Diaries series. Ever since then, I've anticipated her new book releases. Her style of writing makes it so easy to feel what her characters feel, and to relate to them. This is another great book of hers, and just in time for the Halloween season. I knew after reading the short story, Antique Mirror, that I was going to love these characters, and I am so glad that she wrote a book going into depth about their story. I will not give any details, but just know that I'm a fan for life of D. F. Jones!

I love the wonderful cover for The Witches Of Hant Hollow: Jonathon’s Curse by D F Jones. I also like the cute witch that’s at the head of each chapter. I picked it up on a free day, which I discovered through her newsletter. A perfect book for the upcoming Spooktacular season.

The characters run the gamut, from the best of the best, to the worst of the worst. It has an especially intriguing villain in Iris, the matriarch of the Doanhart Coven. We have poor Jonathon, who D F Jones puts through the wringer, and Jasmine, who’s heart is so big, she will sacrifice herself for the good of all. AND, there are a lot of peripheral characters that have an important part to play. We, also, have many supernatural characters that make an appearance.

The story begins in 1915 Rockvale, Tennessee. The action moves the story along, sometimes at a fast pace, other times the characters have a chance to treasure a moment in time. There is plenty of romance to go around, as the characters struggle to find their soul mates and overcome the obstacles put in front of them.

D F Jones has crafted a fantastic tale of magic and mayhem and I definitely want to continue my journey with The Witches Of Hant Hollow.

I really enjoyed this story. It's about love gained and love lost. It is both a period piece and current, too. It is also about the ageless battle between good and evil. It is an entertaining read and well thought out. I would definitely recommend it!

Hant Hallow has a number of supernatural beings residing there, among them are witches who follow both the light and the dark ways, vampires, werewolves, and others. Generally, the humans are entirely unaware of the existence of these beings, but sometimes, the magical beings are more noticeable. And in the past, this has sometimes brought down the wrath of some and led to hangings of witches by those who fear them.

Jasmine is growing tired of hiding in plain sight, and begins to fall for a human when he saves her from a group of boys who were throwing stones and attacking her. Thus began a friendship that her mother, who follows the darker ways of the witches, will not tolerate. She curses Johathan, forcing him to live in a mirror universe away from all his friends and family as well as stealing the human woman that he loves from him. Jasmine begins a very long quest to help him break the curse and regain his life and hopefully to find love again.

This was an interesting story about the power of love and friendship, as well as showing the harm that can come even to oneself when you seek to control or bend others to your will. Children grow and eventually seek independence from their elders, but what happens when their elders aren’t willing to let them find their own way?

I enjoyed this book. It was a fairly quick read and I found it very entertaining. I think others will also enjoy reading it too.

What a tale. The characters are terrific and varied, with determination and cunning. The flashes between the good and dark magic and characters was well balanced with plenty of insight and detail. The twists and surprises throughout kept the story interesting and the varied types of characters added to the overall enjoyment. The whole area was involved and the story highlighted more than just the immediate couple and their situation... but then again the mother sure did not help matters. A very worthwhile story for this time of the year. I plan on reading more from this author after this one.

Jonathan's Curse by D.F. Jones is Book 1 in The Witches of Hant Hollow series. A well written, fast paced, action filled adventure that has well developed and interesting characters. It has an intriquing storyline with great insights into the lives of witches. Jasmine, a witch, is rescued by Jonathan, a human, from a bunch of bullies. They proceed to fall in love but because of their love Jonathan is cursed by Jasmine's grandmother Iris, a powerful witch, who hates humans. There are lots of troubles for Jonathan which he does not deserve. I found this to be an engaging read and highly recommend it.

First time reading this author and I was pleasantly surprised.
Liked the cover and no editing errors.

The characters were well developed and had depth. They were relatable, even though the time frame was 1915. At one point, the story switched from 1915 to the present. Usually, I am not a fan of this type of flashback but it was well done.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story and the characters. It was a good verses evil story as well as, love and love lost. There is a second book that is a continuation of this story.

The witches of hant hollow by D.F. Jones.
Jonathan's curse.
Jonathan likes 2 girls. Jasmine and Mae. He doesn't realise that Jasmine is a witch. Her aunt iris doesn't like Jonathan and curses him. Can he lift the curse?
I really enjoyed this book. I love witches shifters and magic. I loved the cover. Some characters I liked some I didn't. I didn't have a favourite either. I loved the fight between dark and light witches. That was my favourite part. 5*.

It is 1915 and Jasmine has fallen for Jonathan only she cannot have him. Jasmine is a witch and lives in a very different world than Jonathan who is human. Jasmine's grandmother plays for the dark side and will stop at nothing to win no matter who she hurts. This book spans a century and handles it really well. There are lots of magical creatures, romance, drama and heartbreak. It is a roller coaster of a ride!

I've read all of the books D. F. Jones has written. With Witches of Hant Hallow, she has created a "bewitching" tale of magic and fantasy, good vs. evil, along with vivid, interesting characters. The new covers are terrific and her writing continues to grow as her imagination takes us to yet another realm. I've read the entire series and love it.

This is a story of Jasmine who is a witch and the man she ends up falling for Jonathan who is human. The book deals with the struggle of dark and light magic and the prejudice that witches and mortals have against each other. All in all it was a good read. I did not connect with the book immediately and it took till I reached chapter 5-6 to actually connect with the book, but once engaged I was hooked. The most interesting part is that book spans across more than 100 years it not drag.

I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

For a story about a curse it was very not focused on that curse.
While it’s good to build the world and the reasons one 3 chapters are actually focused on the curse the rest is some drama filled with unknown background stuff
