Jackie loved running the Beachmere Inn, a popular spot in Crosby’s Cove that had been in her family for years. Doting on her guests made her happy and she couldn’t imagine spending her life any other way than what she had grown up doing.

Join Annie and her two best friends, Jackie and Marie, as they each face their own challenges while living in Crosby's Cove.
This is a series. Each book is a short read, perfect for a quick escape.
If you love women's fiction, women's divorce fiction and/or clean romance then you will love this series.
Catherine Jones grew up in New England and spent endless amounts of time visiting Maine with her parents. Her family loved the small seaside town of Ogunquit, and often vacationed there.
Catherine fell in love with Ogunquit as well, which was her inspiration to write her first series, Crosby's Cove.
If you enjoy small town, wholesome women's fiction then you will love Catherine's books.
These stories emphasize friendship and family life.
I really enjoyed this and am looking forward to reading more about these women. I like that the situations are not overly dramatic and are realistic. Having Jackie realize that maybe she doesn't need to stay in her marriage was SO REFRESHING, so many of us women are told we HAVE to have a man or stay in a marriage. I would be friends in real life with these people and wish I lived in Crosby's Cove!
The author needs to stop using 'had' and the past tense as a modifier to her narrative. This is a wonderful suspenseful series but the narrative is choppy with unnecessary modifiers. Having said that I eagerly await the going ons in Jackie and Jim's relationship. Will Aiden stick it out working for Matt? Will Annie and Matt take their relationship to the next level? So much good stuff to anticipate.
I really enjoyed this. Some readers might not like that Annie forgave Rachel or see it as realistic but I saw it as Annie wanting to leave that situation in the past, needed the work and she believed Rachel was screwed over just like she was.
I have already pre ordered the Christmas book and am glad that this series will continue along.

A really great series, vivid details for the setting and characters that make you feel like you're actually there with them.
I like that these women all have real world issues that a lot of us older women have (divorce, dating at age 50, starting a new career, etc.) but without drama or negativity in the book and with realistic endings.
