What happens when everyone in the entire universe knows two people are destined to be together, except the two people that are destined to be together? Love Me Yours, Truly will tell you all about it. "'Cause Jalia was meant for you, son. When are you going to go get what's yours?" This story is a cute friends to lovers novella that left me smiling and swooning.
Jalia Morris is a mess and not in a good way. She has the worst taste in men, but that's not her only problem. She also always needs her best friend Hamidi to come and clean up her messes. "Other than the fact that you're hardheaded as fuck. Whenever I give you the game, you turn around and do the opposite of what I say."
Hamidi Fitz is the epitome of BDE (big dick energy), he's strong and commandeering, but his Achilles heel is Jalia. "Unless the request came from or was about Jalia. She was the reason he had a soft side; she was his soft side. There was nothing he wouldn't do for her. He would part the sea for her with no clue on how to do so but he would get that shit done. Without a doubt."
When these two finally stop fighting the inevitable, they finally see what everyone else is seeing. This story was the perfect blend of romance with a splash of comedy. "Jalia, I swear on Jesus' left and right sandal that if you're not done with Jerrod after we do this, Ima be done with you." I look forward to reading more from this author.

Ohhhh, I am all in my feelings! These friends had such an intense love! Although they were not together, you could feel the connection and love they felt for each other. Hami! Yes, lawd! I love me some him! Straight shooter, protector, provider and gentleman all rolled into one! Jalia, was a hot mess! She was better than dealing with no good men, and wilding out in the streets! It took her to finally be broken down, and given a stern talking to by Hami, for her to get some act right. Once she took the time to care for, and heal herself, it was all love. J&H Forever! Great read! 👍👍👍

Great Short Story!!!
This was a great read, short but great. I’m glad that Jalia and Hamidi ended up being together and allowing each other to resolve issues before getting together. The love he had for her and her for him was great to read. And the fact they ended up getting married was even better. Bestfriends turned to Lovers/Spouses. I really hope that a story is brewing for the best friends, Marquez and Kelsie. They were hilarious in the story.

Short and Sweet
This book was a breathe of fresh air. I read reviews that made me go download this book. First book I've read by the author and I'm throughly impressed. The bestfriend is a true rider. Having her back when she didn't have her own. Love it!!

Sooooo good...give me Hami any day!
Just when I thought I lost my book mojo, then this book came along. This is my first read by this author but definitely not my last. This author packed in so much in this novelette and it lacked nothing. J&H were the truth. I love their relationship and Hami is bae, point blank period. Without revealing spoilers, please read this book. You will not be disappointed.

Jalia and Hamidi have been best friends since they were kids. They were always there for each other through everything. They loved each other as more than bestfriends, but Jalia didn't think she deserved Hamidi. When Jalia confronted her boyfriend about him cheating this caused Hamidi to have to step in again and after letting Jalia know how he felt and told her to figure out what she wanted. A month later, Jalia had made some changes and went after what she wanted.
I'm always a fan of a friends to lover book, but this one was different and has become my favorite. We always need that one person in our life who stands up for us, protect us and love us no matter what and this story showed all of that. A. Marie wrote this book and to date, this has become my favorite one by her. I loved it and wanted more!!!

HAMIDI AND JALIA ❤
This was a cute friends to lovers fast paced read. I loved the friendship between these two especially when Hamidi showed his protective side over Jalia. Sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs before you finally get the perfect prince and thats exactly what Jalia went through. Hamidi is definitely bae in this book. I loved his take charge nature especially when he let Jalia know he was tired of playing games and it was time for them to finally be together. The bond these two had made for a beautiful ending surrounded by those who were rooting for them since their teenage years.

Okay Queen A. Marie came through with this fast pace short.
Hami loved him some Jalia with everything in him. The man was out here beating dudes up, pulling up no matter where she was and who she claimed shewas with. Jalia just couldn't see what was in front of her, friend zoning Hami for all the f'boys. He still loved her dirty drawers, lbvs. I'm glad she got it together, took time for herself and started therapy. In the end love wins💞

This book was everything and lia and hami were made for each from little kids to adult that what you call forever love!!! She had to get her self together to be with hami and he knew that!! What’s meant to be will be and they were meant to be!!!! I love this story I was in my feelings when I finished but excellent book!!!

Hamidi and Jalia were supposed to be friends. He looked out for her in every way. Jalia's man was a Dirty Dog. When it was time to give up on their relationship, it took all of her energy to move on. Her best friend was there to love her truly. You will adore this FTL story.

This story does come at you fast but you get everything you need. Jalia the soul that's looking for love but doesn't know when to give up. Hamidi was everything, he showed to save her when needed. He was telling her and showing her his love for so long. I can't forget homegirl Kelsie she was down for all the bs. I was so happy about the ending. You will not be disappointed if you read this book.

This was such an amazing and quick read.. This was my first read by this author but surely wont be my last. She packed so much into this book but I didnt feel like it was rushed. The story unfolded so beautifully from beginning to end I loved it. The growth of both characters was amazing. Young love developed into Adult love when they were both ready. I loved it!

Hamidi and Jalia had a love that was destined to stand against all odds thrown against them. Jalia had to get to the point that she loved and put herself first and close doors that needed to be closed before she could even entertain having a forever withHamidi. It’s J & H til the end of time.

Friends to Lovers is one of my favorite storylines to read. Hamidi has been the best friend, protector, and confidant that Jalia needed. He played his role to perfection and he didn’t take any stuff when it came to Jalia. To put it lightly, Hamidi was everything a girl could want. He had this suave demeanor that was reserved for Jalia but he also had some thug in him.
Jalia had to mature and learn her self-worth. She also had to kiss a few frogs to get to her Prince Charming. The last straw for both was Jalia confronting her ex about his cheating ways. This was the wake up call that was needed. It was the part in which Hamidi challenged Jalia to put herself first!
This was a short story but I felt every emotion possible reading this. I was eagerly waiting for Jalia and Hamidi to act on their feelings but things happened naturally and when it needed to happen. Both parties had loose ends that needed to be tied and the excessive baggage needed fo be dealt with. But when these two came together, they were indeed better together. I loved all things Hamidi! This was a good read; there were parts that had me laughing and other times sympathizing with the characters. I wonder if we’d get a story on Kelsie and Marquez?!

This is a friend to lovers journey. So sweet, knowing each other since kids,. With a strong history established with loving and protecting each other. Hamidi was ready to give his all but Jalia needed to heal wounds and prepare herself for the shift in their relationship. I knew that Hamidi was the one for Jalia when he said to her that even all that she had been through all that she had done, he still knew that she was WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE for him. Over the top!
Ms. Johnson is a great writer however this book just wasn’t for me. From the beginning, I was never a fan of Jalia’s. She was too everything, too toxic, too ghetto, too emotional, and too selfish. As the book progress, my first impression of her never changed. So honestly, this book was a hard read.
