When it's raining outside and you had a bad day, this might just be what you need. It has a "Beauty and the Beast" vibe, it's short and angst-free. The romance is just as the title says, cozy, and you get exactly what you would expect from Alexa Riley.

It's been welllll AGESSS!!! Since I read a alexa riley book or new one I mean lol and it was pretty good!!
Pippa is such a sweetheart and always their for her older sister as her sis Myra (she have a book) is always their for her. She ask her to do a favor ask a trump mountian man if they can use his castle for a work event since her boss needs it. So Pippa goes to see and boy the man of the house is grumpy and he let's her use his castle but their are some rules.
Lord Timber is a different alpha male he wants something but he is holding himself back, and he made some mistakes and Pippa made sure to stick to her guns as well as she can. I love that it took them slowly to get together.
I cant wait to see what Myra and her boss.. since that's what it feels like a bomb waiting to exploded.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, secondary charas, sexy times, virgin gal and idk his history? Could be a Virgin.

A grumpy lumberjack, butler named Simon, beautiful castle and Pippa's dimples - that's what makes this lovely, sweet and cheesy novella. Classical Alexa Riley that I have missed so much.

I liked this sweet little read. I liked how jealous and possessive timber was even when he was fighting against wanting pippa. I also thought it had a decent dark spot for such a short book but I sometimes find lacking. I’m not going to lie though, I’m a little more excited for pippas sisters book.

Una historia muy linda. Ambos personajes me gustaron mucho, especialmente él con su carácter huraño y hosco y sus continuos gruñidos. Me pareció un personaje un tanto diferente a lo que suelen ser los protagonistas masculinos de AR y lo cierto es que me sorprendió para bien el cambio. Ha resultado refrescante.

Timber / don't know how old is he but I think he is in his mid thirties, big man , loves his privacy, don't like people!

If you want a beauty and the beast story in a modern quick erotica novella, there you go. But if you don't like hot and cold grumpy as fuck male characters, don't bother.

It's so good to have the Alexa Riley ladies back! I enjoyed Cozy and reading Timber and Pippa's romance. It gave me Beauty and the Beast vibes and was a good quick read.

I kind of liked it—and that right there says it all.
Cozy had some great sweet and steamy moments but it rest of the book felt lukewarm.

Cuando la hermana de Pippa le pide que la ayude en un trabajo ella no duda en aceptar. Su hermana siempre se ha sacrificado por criarla desde que eran pequeñas así que si puede devolverle el favor lo hará encantada. Así que lo unico que tiene que hacer es convencer a gruñón de que le permita a su hermana hacer una fiesta de su empresa allí. Lo último que esperaba Pippa era verse obligada a vivir con el divertido gruñón que odia a la gente.
Awwwwwwwwwww, que adorable fue este libro. Si que es verdad que me pareció un poco flojito para lo que es Alexa Riley. Es decir muy tranquilo y tan despacio como puede ser un libro corto de estas autoras. Aún así me ha encantado y parecido super cuqui. Como siempre es una historia corta y con final super feliz y tropecientos mil hijos. Recomendado para pasar el ratito!

Thank f@$& Alexa Riley is back. It’s been an intense and stressful few weeks, and I really needed a happy place, thankfully, I got 2 Alexa Riley books. Adored these two. Timber’s grumpy ass had me laughing so hard, seriously, I can’t even. Too funny. Pippa is like a ray of sunshine, which was a great contrast to Timber’s growly grumpiness. Together they just made my heart happy and took me to a happy place....yeah, you can go there too, it was a great reality break.
Safe read with a sunshiny virgin and her grumpy, but highly entertaining OTT alpha. Ton of heat and baby batter, with 2 epilogues (you’re welcome) and an hea.

Pippa openly admits that she’s a drifter waiting for whatever is thrown her way. Her job prospects range from vet tech to working in a library. She has no direction. She worked at a Diner, the owner despaired of her finding her niche, having served in every possible capacity. She failed at each role assigned becoming overwhelmed in stressful situations.
Timber muses he is not in the best of shape, when his parents named him they might have known he’d grown into his name. He’s tall and solid like a sequoia tree with massive arms and legs. He can chop wood and haul lumber all day but he will never display a six-pack to show for it. He is heavy-footed and cannot run a mere mile. He can, however, bend a crowbar in half and lift a car, if needed.
‘Her smile widens and I see the dimples on either side of her cheeks. My
eyebrows pull together as I stare at them and I decide I don’t like dimples.
They’re too goddamn sweet and innocent. I bet men fall all over themselves at
the sight of them, and that thought makes me angry too. I need to go chop some more wood.
“I’ve come to see if I can rent your castle.” She shrugs that one bare shoulder
and I decide I hate that too. Doesn’t she own a sweater that can cover her whole body? It’s October, for Christ’s sake. I don’t bother to look down at my own hypocritically bare chest.
“I don’t rent out my home.”
She cocks her head to the side and I wonder why she doesn’t have her hair
pulled up. Seeing it down like this is obscene. Any man could reach out and run
their fingers through it. I should find her some string.
“What about a trade? A favor?” she offers.
The favour is a condition...Pippa must reside in his home while coordinating plans with the vendors to avoid the long-distance commuting and traffic of people entering and exiting his castle, she must also act as his date since he doesn’t like interacting with people.
A formula of close quarters, Pippa’s sunny disposition and Timber’s gruff demeanour as he tries to ignore their growing attraction is amusing.
He never overcomes his aversion of people but having Pippa and six children, makes it easier.

This book gave me major Beauty and the Beast vibes. Not that Timber was at all beastly ;) I hope the next book continues that vibe, but this just may have been a fluke on my part.
I loved how adorably grumpy Timber was. He was a bit of reluctant hero, but it was insta-love! I liked that he was big and brawny and swoony to the maxxxx.
Pippa was adorable! I loved her name, it totally matched her bubbly personality! She was so sweet and the perfect yin to Timber’s yang!
Pippa was sent by her sister to use some of her signature sweet charm to try to get Timber to let Myra (the sister) use his castle as a party venue for her boss.
I really like how the next book with Pippa’s sister was only really teased, not much was given away...
The only reason that this wasn’t a full five star master piece to me was that it didn’t have the same amount of Alexa Riley signature flare. No breeding or anything remotely taboo and I was really hoping for that after such a long drought. I am not sure if that kind of stuff was banned on Amazon and that is why, but Fiona Davenport still has that stuff. I don’t know... it was a really great book, but the author has definitely had some steamier reads.
I hope the next Alexa Riley books will be a heck of a lot smuttier, but I’ll take what I can get. I think my problem might be too high of standards for them. All in all, I would totally recommend this book.

This book was unrealistic, but I guess all books is kind of unrealistic, but it is one of those books that make you think "oh man that could never happen in the real world". but then again maybe I'm the pessimist if you think you can make a billionaire fall in love with you in a few weeks by doing nothing, keep on believing that, don't give up the hope.. I'm just gonna sit in the corner and silently judging you.
After reading thise kind a book. I normally think "oh I wish a rich man could treat me like this.." after reading this I thought "FAKE NEWS"..
It was okay, and it was cute in some aspects, but overall it was also short, I think it hasn't been so rushing, and so short it may have been better. I did however liked it for what it was, the communication in this book was just weird..

I LIKE THIS SO MUCH HAHAHAHA!!
This has been my favorite Alexa Riley book I have read so far. Because it doesn't has the "I want to impregnate you blah blah blah" and the pregnancy were after the engagement or when they are already married. 🤩
I like how the romance was slow and there was a build-up(?). There is even a getting to know each other before doing it~. I like how it was just about the two of them figuring their relationship~. AND THERE WERE NO UNNECESSARY DRAMA (cheating and OW/OM).
A slowish-insta yet steamy romance is what I really need right now because I want to start reading historical romance in August 🤷♀️.
Wish all steamy novellas doesn't have the "i don't want to wear condoms, i need to get you impregnate" vibe to it. 🙏

I loved this Beauty and the Beast type of love story. With these authors you get all the smut and unrealistic expectations , but it's a great getaway from real life. I also love that I am finish most books in one sitting so this was the perfect before bed story.
