Hong Kong, with its oriental life and overlay of western ways, is the setting of FRAGRANT HARBOR. Gwen Kimball, fleeing an unpleasant affari in New York, comes to visit her sister and brother-in-law who are stationed there with the intention of settling in the Colony. Through them she meets many ex-patriots and locals, among them an oriental ship owner, Lance, who is married but not living eith his wife. They are immediately attracted to each other. Then Todd, the New York man from whom Gwen fled, arrives.

One of the worst books that I have ever read. The same title book was written by another author - which is the one that I thought I was getting but I decided to plow through this one anyway. It made my skin crawl at times and the ending was probably the worst ending of a book imaginable. The word choice was poor and quite a few misspelled as well as misused words. Definitely not a must read...
