Apart from the spoilers you can read on tiktok or other websites this story was heartbreaking. There's no incest in the story so everyone can be rest assured. Obvoiusly some things could be blood boiling. Even if you feel disgusted or anything it's still worth reading. I just finished the novel and i was crying so hard in the past 2-3 days. I can't wait for the manhwa to end and cry my eyes out again but this time seeing everything instead of just imagining it in my head😭😭😭🤧🤧

Forgot to add this to my 2024 completed shelf soooooooo here is a super late review? I was instantly captivated with this story. I started the Manhwa on Tapas first and when the season 1 ended I could not contain myself and instantly picked up the novel and what a great idea that was because this was my obsession for quite a couple months while I was waiting for the weekly updates (thank the heavens they updated 3 times a week!)
Kanna was such a great character to follow. She was resilient and truly stuck to her convictions. She never stood down, and throughout the constant misfortunes she suffered, she stood strong.
I read a comment someone posted on one of the chapters that said this should have been renamed as 'The Misfortunes of Kanna Addis' and that truly stuck with me and I wholeheartedly agree hahaha!
-REVERSE HAREM. There is not one ML. The FL doesn’t choose one at the end (sort of)… She keeps all five of them. Also there is no incest in the story (it could be categorized as pseudo-incest, but still… Kanna is a single child. No blood related relatives in her harem). I would even say it couldn’t be considered grooming since the supposed “dad” wasn’t even home and spent most of the time running away from child Kanna.
-All main characters are very… gray… there’s really not a single one of them (other than Lucy, the youngest Addis) who is innocent or without any fault (even Kanna the FL). So don’t go into this story expecting a clean and balanced narrative and relationships. In my opinion, that’s the beauty of the story… somehow all these dysfunctional people find each other and fight for each other and make it work somehow.
-It is kind of redundant and repetitive how many chapters we waste in “all men love Kanna(FL) and she has to fight for her freedom(again and again)”. The story still makes sense without reaping this situation so much. BUT THE REST IS SO GOOD. All the unexpected turns this story brings!!! It’s worth reading!!!
-Kanna is such a complex character and so are the five male leads. Don’t even think for a second that Kanna happily gets with them just because.
She forgives but doesn’t forgets.
She makes them grovel and shed tears of blood to be allowed in her harem. It’s frustrating, yesss, but very much needed! And even then, she doesn’t let any of them disrespect her again. Kind of like “death is a blessing. Repent by my side so I can see it” type of thing.
This was actually flaming garbage. Rated 2 stars because the first 110 chapters or so were fun to read. I liked the Isekai plot twist of the "fictional character" and the Korean suddenly swapped bodies/lives/worlds for 7 years, and were then just as abruptly switched back. The trope of the FL chronically being in danger and needing to be saved was frustrating but not to the point that I couldn't look past it...but that was only the beginning. Here's what I wish I would have known before reading this: it's a reverse haram with, incest, rape, infidelity, irredeemably bad, abusive characters (that are supposedly redeemed), and get this- the male lead is her father (she finds out late in the story he's not her father and their relationship starts after that but it was still weird as heck.) All in all this novel was a clusterfuck soap opera shitshow that was kinda fun until it was utterly depraved. It had a lot going for it in the beginning, but it did not follow through.

This review is of the manhwa and not the light novel.
This premise was so interesting and engaging! A body swap spanning dimensions instead of a stereotypical isekai- the main character goes through it. The discrimination she faces because of her hair color being "evil" is crazy- and the abuse she faces from all ends is disappointing (in humanity)- if she had never known what love was like (when she swapped) maybe she could have accepted her fate? She is seriously jaded and I'm all here for it. Honestly, this might have been a 4 star review if not for some of the weird vibes I get from the family members and some of the translation leaving somethings to be desired (not the authors fault or anything- it just bogs the story down at times). I've been waiting to do this review until the manhwa has been completed but it's been awhile since it's updated (chapter 81)- and the way it continues might completely change my mind. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
