A dream wedding with an unexpected twist takes Susan Sheridan and Amanda on a wild rollercoaster of emotions - one that brings them closer than ever as mother and daughter.

If there's anything Susan Sheridan understands, it's that things don't always go as planned.

From her divorce, to her move from Newark, to her cancer diagnosis, finally to Scott popping the question at the Sunrise Cove Inn's New Year’s Party in front of all her closest family and friends.

She never thought she'd find her way back to a love like this.

Amanda prepares herself for the ride of her life as she plans a dream-wedding to Chris, a man she's loved desperately for years.

But there's something off about him. Something that rears its ugly head as the January wedding date rolls near. Something that proves to Amanda what her mother has already learned— things don't always go as planned.

Add to this turbulent world-win of the Sheridan clan: Lola falls deeper in love with her boyfriend, Tommy; Audrey, as she continues to grapple with her pregnancy at the age of nineteen; and Christine, as she prepares to take on the responsibility of motherhood, in a way she never imagined.

Beyond this, their father dips evermore toward darkness as his dementia worsens. It's a cloud over everything, even as their love for him grows. Can the Sheridan clan survive this rollercoaster ride?

Join Amanda, Susan, Lola, Christine, and Audrey as they move forward in life, in love, in family, and in friendship. Nothing is ever as it seems or as they planned. But maybe that's never a bad thing. It's just how time goes on the Vineyard.

Dive into this new women's fiction series by heading to Martha's Vineyard— a backdrop of white sand and crystal blue waters that follow the stories of the Sheridan family. A heartwarming journey of friendship, loss, and love that will have you wanting the next book.

Whenever life throws a curveball, turn to family and friends who are family to pick you back up. Life will always throw a curveball.

This series has many themes and one is a father with Alzheimer’s. I thought it might be hard to listen to the story since I just lost my father to Alzheimer’s but it was therapeutic. I’m one of the lucky ones that my dad was never an eloper and was able to stay at his home by himself until the end. It is so important if you can keep them home for as long as you are able and it is age for you and them.

You will fall in love with the Sheridan family from Martha’s Vineyard.

3.5 Stars rounded down. In A Vineyard Vow, Susan Sheridan is recovering from her treatments for breast cancer and is in remission. She now turns her attention to helping her daughter Amanda, plan her wedding. Amanda has just finished her first semester of law school and has done well. She has spent the last year going back and forth to Martha's Vineyard to support her mother and is now excited to finalize her wedding plans. There is a lot happening in the family as her Aunt Christine and Zach finalize their lives together, and get ready to help her cousin Audrey raise her child so she can return to school, her Aunt Lola and her beau Tommy getting to know each other and her grandfather's dementia getting worse all the time. With all this going on, she doesn't seem to be able to give Chris the attention that he needs.

Once again the Sheridans and Montgomerys spend lots of time together and support one another. Of course, best laid plans don't always turn out the way you wanted them to. This story was a bit formulaic, but I did enjoy seeing how they support one another and help each other deal with whatever life throws their way. As Amanda's life seems to change right before our eyes, I enjoyed seeing how this mature young woman deals with all that life throws at her. A story of family, love, loss and new beginnings that I recommend. This is the 6th book in the Vineyard Sunset series, and I do recommend you read them in order. Once again, Erin Bennett does a lovely job with the narration of this novella.

A Vineyard Vow: The Vineyard Sunset Series Book 7 is by Katie Winter. This book deals with Amanda. Amanda is the only child of Susan Sheridan. Her Father is Richard Harris who is now married to Penelope and is expecting their first child. Susan runs the Sunrise Inn on Martha’s Vineyard and is with Scott Frampton, her high school love.
Amanda is going over her list of things to do in the future. It had nothing to do with what she should be doing; but her overall plan for the future. When she got stuck on five, she heard her laptop ding. Looking, she saw the grades for the semester were posted. Quickly she looked and was surprised to see it was 3.78. That was amazing for her first semester! Wanting to tell Chris immediately, she texted him to call her. When he did, he was rather short with her and she asked him to be sure to come home as she had something to tell him. He had been acting funny these days. It must be wedding nerves. She had them too.
A few days later, she headed for Martha’s Vineyard for New Year’s Eve and her wedding. Chris had to stay in Newark to work. She wasn’t happy about this; but it was what it was. The big day arrived and she woke up depression. Something was wrong, must be wedding jitters. She wore her beautiful wedding vintage dress and looked beautiful. Now she was ready for her parents to walk her down the aisle. Suddenly, Charlotte asked them to wait and rushed out. Finally, her brother came in and told them that they couldn’t find the groom. Chris had left her at the altar!

Quick read, another one where I liked the book well enough but didn't rave about it. Maybe I'm just getting comfortable with the families and things don't shock me anymore? Amanda got a little whiny here but fortunately I think she's shaking out of it now. I like the way the storylines are progressing and where the sisters' lives are headed. I'll keep reading, getting anxious for Audrey's baby to come and to see what's next for Kelly.

Good solid series that I'd recommend reading in order mainly to keep everyone's backstory straight since there are a lot of characters.

I really loved this story about Amanda and her wedding on Martha's Vineyard. This book is about is their a wedding. If there is a wedding and the circumstances that surround it. You really can't give a detailed review because there would be spoilers. The one thing I can say is that it is a GREAT READ along with the rest of the series.

Katie Winters has done it again! The Sheridan Sisters saga continues with all its ups and downs. Sit back; grab something awesome to drink; and bury yourself in this latest set of trials and tribulations. The storyline is really good; the characters well developed; plenty of angst to go around, and a really awesome ending. Hope springs eternal in this one..so grab a copy today. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and continue to be hooked on this family!) ❤️

ARC for honest review with no compensation

The Vineyard Vow is book 6 in the Vineyard Sunset series by Katie Winters and be are back with the Sheridan sisters and family.

The continuing story of the Sheridan sisters. Susan has been through so much and now has beat the cancer and has found love and is engaged to Scott. Now she is helping her daughter, Amanda prepare for her wedding to Chris but something seems amiss. On the day of the wedding which should be a happy occasion, it ends on a totally different note. Life certainly doesn’t always go as it’s planned...family will step up, emotions on a rollercoaster ride, sadness, trying to figure out what next is just some of what is happening. Love how this family is always there for each other!

The sixth book in the Vineyard Sunset series centers on Amanda Sheridan and her mother Susan. Amanda is in the midst of taking courses in law school and planning her wedding to Chris. Amanda is a list-maker who needs to be in control and plan out her life. Her mother Susan has gone through a divorce and has beaten cancer. She finally is physically recovering from the devastation of cancer and decides to restart her law career. After Amanda's "perfect" life is unexpectedly waylaid, she is boosted by the chance to assist her mother on a case. As always, the family members all help out in any problem areas. There is a nice mixture of happy and sad in all of Katie Winters' books. It's wonderful to see the progression in the series. I actually feel like part of the family. In short, the novel was wonderful!

A feel good book with the love and support of family. I, even, got a glimpse of some characters from her other series! I loved it!!

This is a light fun series to read. Susan’s daughter Amanda is expected to get married but does she? After Susan’s divorce and cancer treatments she’s now on a new path resurrecting her career as lawyer opening an office with Amanda on Martha’s Vineyard. Looking forward to the next book. Love the Sheridan and Montgomery families.

I love this series of the Sheridan girls on the Vineyard. This was a story of Amanda and Chris but really just Amanda figuring out what she really wanted. As the 2nd generation of Sheridan girls, it’s not always easy but family always helps out. I really liked seeing the transition of Amanda’s life from super type A law student to really knowing that she wanted to be a lawyer and that her life with Chris was not what it seemed to be. Love the new character Sam and really can’t wait to read the next book and see Audrey and her baby.

I was provided a free ARC for an honest review.

I really like this series. The characters are warm and easy to like. The Sheridan’s and Montgomery’s are great families. Hopefully, Audrey’s baby will finally make its appearance in the next book. I really hope it turns out to be a boy. These sisters and cousins really need a boy thrown in the
mix!

After the

Once again Katie Winters has taken us to Martha's Vineyard to the Sheridan household. The Sheridan Sisters, their off spring, the loves of their lives, and other relations lets us live with them for awhile. You can picture yourself in the Sheridan house going through the motions with them of running the Inn, preparing for the wedding, recovering from heart breaks and starting over again. Katie Winters makes everyone and everything so life like. Read these and start from the first book.

Rating as a movie: PG-13

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️½👰🏝

My thoughts: 🔖124 of 194 Ch. 17 - I saw this coming in book one. This is better than the last couple of books so far. It could be a single-sitting read, but it's almost midnight and my eyes are giving up.

I liked this better than the last book, but it was pretty predictable in a cozy way.

Recommend to others: Yes. These are comforting quick reads.

A Vineyard Vow was a very emotional book at times. My heart went out to Amanda. She is strong like her mother, but I don't think she truly realizes it yet. I am so happy she is staying at the Vineyard. The friendship between Amanda and Audrey is wonderful. They are there for each other. I love how the Sheridans and the Montgomerys all stick together helping each other. Another great book by Katie Winters. It is on to a Vineyard Lullaby. Can't wait.
