Bending down, I start to help gather the papers. When I go to hand them to the person, I'm nearly struck on my ass at the sight before me. She looks like an apparition, or maybe an angel. I can't decide. All I know is I want to know everything there is about her.
Big green eyes stare at me, luscious lips part slightly in a silent gasp as we are frozen in a stare off. The sound of the bell snaps me from my haze, releasing my grip on the books as I go to hand them to her.
“Thank you,” her soft voice tells me. The sound washes over me, awakening my body in ways it never has before. My life has always been about baseball, about the next pitch.
I think all that just changed with one stolen glance and two spoken words.

“I asked you a question, and I need the answer. Has anyone ever kissed you? Did you let them taste you, to see how your mouth molds to theirs?” I whimper, my body shaking with desire from the words he whispers. “I bet you’re untouched, aren’t you? My sweet, little virgin just waiting for her man to come take her. Isn’t that right?”
“Handsome giant.” I stutter. Damnit, Ramona. Why did you just say that?
Handsome giant? Is that what you call me in your head, baby? That’s so fucking adorable. ✅So, Ramona's mom has just left her and her dad , and he's REALLY REALLLLLLLLY upset and feels jilted.
✅And there is a "NO DATING" stamp , on Ramona's forehead.
✅But our guy Ace is not afraid of ANYTHING.
He is sooooo claiming her as his own.
✅Among the three books in this series.........THIS particular H is THE BEST.
✅His dirty talking , his wooing , his pursuing , ..............WOW!!!! 😍
✅Maybe , it gave off good vibes because it was a forbidden romance. Unlike , the first two books, in THIS book the MCs weren't childhood friends.
✅Ramona's dad left the town and came to live here for a change of place, as in, to start fresh.
Yeah, that's right. I'm in love with Davis Adams. I never would have guessed my mom leaving would drive me straight to the person I meant to spend my life with. I know I'm young and people will think I'm crazy for believing he's my one. But I know it's true. I know it with everything I have.
✅THE BEST PART OF THIS BOOK WAS THE PHONE SEX

4️⃣NO DIRTY LOCKER ROOM TALKS.
5️⃣NO OW/OM DRAMA WHATSOEVER.

The writing was bad. The previous 2 books had double virgin couples, so I was expecting this one to have one too, which wasn't the case. It was only said that the heroine was a virgin, nothing was said about the hero.
There was one statement by the heroine that made me dislike her and the author. It goes along the lines that the guys won't approach her because her father is an asshole, and girls because she made it clear that she doesn't want fake friendships. Well, maybe she's a bitch and that's why girls don't want her as friend.
Oh, and she's an expert on whatever sport the hero is playing, and she can just look at the players and see what are their weaknesses and help them fix them. She's better than all the coaching staff.
For some reason, I gave this book 2 stars in my notes, but I can't remember one positive thing about it now, I can only remember how annoying the heroine was. So 1 star it is.

Loved this series!!
All three stories in this series were outstanding. Great characters that were loveable, admirable and swoon worthy. I'm really hoping that Coach Taylor gets a story too!!!

I adore a safe sports story. They are rare so I was happen to stumble across this one.

Short and sweet as the first 2
I liked this couple almost as much as Kyle and Alice. Our author was much better on the proofing here, but still a few lazy errors.
