I should be the world champion, but fate always conspires against me. I think I need a beer!
I don't know why I've come back to this hell hole. People say that Silver Springs is the ideal place for someone like me. It's a town full of supes, but it has never felt like home to me.
I need a place to skate, preferably without melting the rink so when I hear that Silver Springs has a brand new magical rink that even my Kitsune fire magic won't melt, I return to the small paranormal town.
I'm focused on one thing and one thing alone, training for the World Figure Skating Championships. This might be my last chance at getting the title and I'm not going to waste it. I'm not the only one who wants to win. Three time World Champion, Addie Ravenwood is determined to take the trophy home for a fourth time and she's more than willing to play dirty.
Somehow we find ourselves fighting over the three sexy brothers who run the Silver Stein Brewery, instead of practicing our skating technique. Can I have it all; the world title, the three gorgeous angels and the chance to finally give Addie Ravenwood the middle finger?
Ember is a paranormal romcom with magical skates and multiple mates guaranteed to make you laugh and belongs to the Silver Springs Universe.
Hanleigh is a USA Today Bestselling Author and is about as English as it's possible to be, without actually being English.
She first fell in love with books as a child reading Dr Seuss, but moved onto romance when she first read Pride and Prejudice at the age of twelve. She wishes she could live inside the world inside her mind, but since that isn't possible she puts pen to paper and shares that world with her readers instead.
Loved!! The second book in the Silver Skates series was amazing I loved Ember as a character and how even though she had a lot of stuff happen in her life she was still had such a beautiful soul!! I would love to find out more about her father and why he left...
Bradley's latest contribution to Silver Spring world wasn't anything less then I expected from this author. Having enjoyed a number of her SS books previously and knowing that Bradley would bring the right formula for this story, I settled down for the fiery ride that Ember will bring to this world. Ember is a wonderful addition to this small town as she fits right in despite her worries and her up coming world championship. Even though Silver Springs hasn't been always kind for her. I admire her willing to take a second chance and reconnect with Lupine who wants to show her the best.
Well it happens , she finds herself falling for the charms and Ember finds herself in a war with her rival over three brothers. Who are more then happy to show her that she can have anything, should she be willing.
The brothers were the right choices for her. Whilst they have been mentioned in past previously, we really got to know them well in this book. Avery stole the show though by the way she made everything so simple and broke down the barriers . Ember was a delight to read, it was fun and yet it didn't take away from her life.
Another fantastic instalment this world and love how Bradley has added to the Silver Skates series
So I get to travel back to silver springs to watch the skating world championship. Let's meet Ember who is a fire kitsune. Which means her body temperature runs a lot hotter than normal. She just moved to Silver Springs to compete in the championship. She has made new friends and is working really hard. That is until she has to rent a pair of skates to practice. Well before that she meet some pretty hot guys. Dominick, Holden, and Klaus. They are brothers and when they meet her, they are a bit smitten. Then they notice a blue line. Unfortunately Ember is oblivious to it but she does feel something. Then wort face shows up. LOL I loved this part. Ember seems really stressed out and I think she really needs to let go and just make her moves on the brothers. So what is going to happen? I can say that I teared up, laughed and thoroughly enjoyed this book. I cannot wait to see what happen next in this series.
2.5 stars. Its taken me a while to finish this one. I got as far as Addie skulking in the shadows before deciding I needed a break. Likely my own fault for jumping the series and reading the funny ones first. So left this one but decided not to dnf. A month later I decided to move on with the series and after the first whiny "daddy" pretty much fled back to this one.
The coach seemed to have mellowed quite a bit midpoint. Addie kept popping up like an irritant and then there was the guys. I couldn't really separate the brothers. The only one that really stood out was Dom and that was because of his spell trouble and the fact he brought a daughter to the mix. A couple of little hints for the next books. I liked the kitsune powers although the possession without permission was a bit too much. Favourite part was where they all could share their thoughts.

Fire Kitsune Ember (FMC) is back in Silver Springs to compete in an ice skating competition. Problems arise when she gets a lot of trouble from another competitor and 3 sexy brothers - Holden, Klaus & Dominick and his cute as hell daughter - Avery. She was so sweet. I loved Ember. Shes a contradiction of many things - Sweet, sassy and also a bit unsure of herself but i found that endearing. Her relationship with Avery was a bit heartbreaking but also lovely too. Its another charming, steamy, funny read with great characters and a great story. Loved it
Ember is book 2 in this years season of silver springs. Ember is training for the world championships and so returns to silver springs to train as its one of the only rinks her magic doesn’t melt. Whist coming to terms with being back in the town that she hates she rekindles and old friendship with Lupine as they came through the orphanage together and also makes lots of new friends along with finding her 3 mates. Cant wait to hear more about Ember as her storey is far from finished?
Ember was worried that she might have to give up her dream as everyone knows that fire and ice don’t mix. Instead she finds herself in Silver Springs where she tries to remain focused on her skating and not be distracted by the three men she can’t stop thinking about.
When Klaus, Holden and Dominic meet Ember they know that she is their destiny and now they just have to convince her. They will do anything to protect her and they aren’t about to let anyone stand in the way of the future they could have together.
Humor, heat and great characters will keep you enchanted until the last page.
I love this world, and the figure skating made it even better. This was such a cute read with plenty of steam and just enough sadness to make a girl happy. I’m sad that we won’t get more of Addie’s story but overall I loved this book.
This book was like watching the Ice Princess but way better because it’s RH and a paranormal romance. I loved the kitsune addition to SS. This book is now one of my favorites so far in this new season! Is it wrong I wish there was more to Ember???? Because this book was just that good and all the characters in to were brilliant!
Amazing!!! This is the 2nd book in the Silver Skates collection. Ember returned to Silver Springs for a skating competition. She had some history in this town and didn't want to stay any longer than necessary, but she was determined to win. What she didn't expect was to find a reason to stay. Ember was a such a spit fire (pun intended), totally loved her character! The best thing about these stories is that these are such feel good stories and makes your day so much better. Definitely worth the read!
I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review
This is another fun read in the Silver Skates series. I really enjoyed seeing how a story about a figure skater, with, um, unique challenges as a kitsune, would be an interesting story. I know, right? I shouldn't doubt since I'm so glad to say that not only was it an interesting story, I loved the characters, the mystery and the fab connection between Ember and the Sterling brothers. Add in a sweet little girl, a tyrannical coach, sabotage and all the supporting characters, well, you end up with a one-sit read that will have you giggling, gasping or rolling your eyes throughout. So much fun and I continue to be amazed at how different each story is while maintaining that fab entertainment factor. Can't wait for more!
I loved this witty, hot, and magical trip back to Silver Springs! I love Ember and the guys and their awesome story. I also love all the interconnected characters that this series brings. I cannot wait for more!
This was a great combination of funny angsty and paranormal hijinx... the charchters definitely belong in Silver Springs... looking forward to more from Ember in some sequals or novellas... well done!
This is the second installment in the Silver Skates series. Ember is new to time and is an ice skater, but is also a katsune. What ensues next is fire! She finds her mates, a new daughter and a slew of new friends. Really great read!
Today we had another press conference. More measurements, more rules, more restrictions. Although the new rules are not really effecting me, currently, it is not always easy to see the light and the goal. However, luckily there is always Silver Springs. Where girls wear spelled skates and find their mates, where toddlers can blurt out totally inappropriate things to get things going and where the world just always seems a little bit brighter and happier and more beautiful.
This book, just like the Lupine books in the previous season, once again has an amazingly cute child that actually steals the show from all the adults in this story. This little girl is just amazing. She makes all those complicated problems seem very simple and with a heart full of love she changes the world of those she cares about. I think it's impossible not to ooh and aah a few times when the little girl brings our heroes and heroine a little closer.
However, Ember is an amazing character too. Although we don't get too much details on her past and upbringing, Bradley manages to paint us a clear picture of why Ember became Ember with the few glimpses we do see. I loved how passionate Ember was, but how she didn't forget to live a little. A lot of sporters forget there is a life outside of sports, but Ember, even though she doesn't initially appreciate the distraction, does realize that her being happy does make her better on the ice too.
And then there are the three heroes of the story, the Sterling brothers. I personally would have loved to see a little more of them and to get to know them a little better, but Bradley does manage to show us that all three of those men are quite different and unique and that they each have something else to offer. I especially enjoyed the twin banter between Holden and Klaus though. I do know a few twins and this felt very realistic and was therefore extra funny!
This was another successful trip to Silver Springs and I can't wait for the next one!
I loved this one. Well, i think i honestly love them all but, i have been waiting impatiently patiently for Ember to be released. Im hooked on the silver springs universe!!
Smoking hot- Excellent read!! A wonderful continuation of this series! Impossible to put down- I started late and didn't get much sleep- it was so worth it!!!
I love Ember! She is a Fire Kitsune who figure skates. While in Silver Springs practicing for the skating championships she uses the spelled ice skates and finds her 3 mates.
This is a cute story about mates coming together. I like how there are little things that make the story better. The antagonist really surprised me towards the end.
Ember was equal parts cute sweet funny and hot. I really loved Ember and Dominick and Holden and Klaus. And of Course we cant forget Cute Avery i adored her.
I really enjoyed this Silver Springs world novel. This book #2 in the Silver Skates series was awesome. The story was very interesting and I really liked the characters. My favorite part was how Ember and all her men felt an immediate reaction to each other but they didn't actually act on those feelings immediately so there was more of a story to get involved in before the gang got with Ember. I also appreciated how this book included many of the characters from the other Silver Springs world so we could get a small view of what they had been up to. The plot was interesting and kept me reading to find out what would happen until the very end. I would definitely read this story over again in the future. I received a review copy of this story from the author and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
Ember is totally focused on her skating. She is determined to win the championship. Fate is going to add it's two cents! Dominic, Klaus and Holden, are all different even though they are brothers. They all love Ember with their whole heart. Instead of holding Ember back, they (her mates ) support Ember in her training and ambition to win the championship. When the 4 of them get together it is definitely hot and heavy. I loved Milo's antics. Kit certainly appreciated it! Avery, Dominics daughter is a pistol. This was a beautiful, entertaining and sexy story. I received this ARC for an honest review.
Hanleigh Bradley has a way with kids. I loved the orphans but Avery is just sweet enough that you will want to get on the phone with your dentist to make sure you didn't get cavities. Absolutely precious. Although I love that Leon still makes a cameo. We have had him as a pig for so long at the orphanage that it would be weird if we don't have at least a quick cameo lol. The guys are great. Brothers with a variety of personalities. Then we have the villain of the story trying to derail our Ember. Go get them Ember! And go read this book!
* Ember is the second book in the third series of the Silver Springs multi-author series. Silver Skates has fifteen books all with magical skates and multiple mates.
Ember is the most funnest fire kitsune ever. She is very goal oriented, she really wants to win the skate championship. She came to Silver Sorings just so she can but while there she meets her mates. Three very special guys who all fall head over heels. This was as always a great book. Hanleigh always does a great job with such lighthearted and fun characters. I love her books. She is an excellent writer! Can't wait for more Silver Springs or even more Ember if Hanleigh decides to give us some sequels!
