Prospect was the seventh book in the Kings of Retribution MC series by the authors Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez.
Sofia Torres had finally found escape and family in the Kings of Retribution MC. We met her in book one, Undaunted, when she was rescued alongside Bella. She had been abused for years as a child and was now coming into her own after several years with the Kings.
We met Sam McGregor in book two, The Darkest of Light, as Alba’s loyal friend at college. He moved to Polson when Alba moved back and had been there ever since. I had loved Sam from day one and was thrilled to learn he was the new prospect.
Prospect was told from a dual POV. I enjoyed the MC story that was told simultaneously with the relationship development between Sam and Sofia. I was also glad to see there wasn’t too much drama surrounding Sam and Sofia - the drama was primarily surrounding the MC in general, which worked well for me. The only real drawback were the numerous editing errors.
All in all, it was a quick, suspenseful, sexy, sweet and entertaining read. The authors also set the stage well for a spin off series, The Kings of Retribution MC Louisiana Chapter. Riggs and Luna’s story began in Prospect but will conclude in Riggs, book one of the new series.

Wow ! OMG ! Another great story in this ongoing series we loved Sam and Sophia's story as it was heartfelt, emotional full of suspense and drama and as always had an amazing cast of characters. This is a wonderful series, all the characters are amazing and easy to love and so much fun. I am not going to lie I have more than a few favorites, but Quinn is my number one of them "oh, hell I am in love with him" .lol
Sam was such a sweetheart, and we just loved him. He was so patient and kind and so love-able. We loved how he was when around Sophia with constantly kissing her hair or forehead, whispering touching endearments letting her know time and time again that she was already his, and he was just waiting to claim her when she was ready. We loved how patient and kind and understanding he was with her and never pushed hard.
Sam was already a favorite of ours from Gabriel's and Alba's story because of how protective he was of her and her friend and the moment he started calling her little momma, I was already in love but, with this story he made me fall even harder. I have to say that I always found him somewhat of a laid back kind of guy, but, we just found out just how dangerous, and deadly he could be when someone threatened his women. His protectiveness and possessiveness was totally smoking hot !
Sam favorite quote- "We have to walk through hell on earth every now and then to claim the reward our maker has destined for us. My reward— The Kings of Retribution, MC. The club is more of a family to me than the one I share blood with."
Sophia was such a sweetheart who suffered so much in her young life that your heart broke for her but, she impressed us on how hard she worked to put it all that behind her and carve out a new life and was working toward her own happiness. We love how fierce and protective she was, taking all those broken souls like she had been at one time under her wing, offering them her protection and a safe place to heal. Sophia was a beautiful soul you could not help but love, she and full of so much kindness and was truly amazing.
Overall we loved the story from beginning to end as it had a beautiful love story, drama and suspense, wonderful character's and more than a few surprises that we did not see coming and all the things to keep us turning the pages. What I love most of all about this book and this series is the women these men choose to be their old ladies, as most of them come with a troubled & checkered pasts. Their women's pain and suffering have just made them stronger and brave, and perfect for these men in every way.
The pres said it best in a speech he gave in the book Lost King, "As for our families, I want to say thank you for standing by our sides without protest or judgment. Lastly, to thank our Old Ladies, Our women are the backbones of our relationship. They stand by our sides and support us and everything we do. Every King needs a queen, and we have been blessed to have found ours."
This statement is true for the women too, as the men are their backbones that love and care and protect them and see to their happiness are their number one priority. And in return they offer their loyalty and love and understanding and are just as fierce and protective and possessive and protective of their men as they are of them.

Recommended read to all that goes into the keeper pile to be read time and time again along with this entire series.

Prospect is book 7 in The Kings of Retribution series and it's Sam and Sofia's story. This one was really sweet. I loved how patient and loving Sam was with Sofia especially after what she went through in her life. I also loved how his love and patience allowed Sofia to finally start living a full life. I'm looking forward to the spin off series and I hope Emma gets a book too.

bro this felt like the authors had 3 days to write it and then jst published it like that. first book in the series did have many unnecessary plot twists, but everything was explained in a pace that's normal. this was literally insta love and BAM kidnapping (which of course happens in every book of this series) and family drama (none of the characters in this series have any other relatives bc they r either dead or hate each other) and the 😍end😍

Prospect is the latest installment of the amazing Kings of Retribution MC series by authors Sandy Alvarez and Crystal Daniels. This can be read as a stand alone but you would be missing the phenomenal stories these authors have written for this series!
Sofia has made Polson and New Hope House her home. I love the strength this character has shown by facing her tragic past head on and helping other women in similar situations. Sometimes you read about women that have faced despair that Sofia has been through and they seem to bounce back too quickly. But authors Alvarez and Daniels took time and care with Sofia's character and made her a stronger woman for it.
Sam McGregor. Just saying this sexy man's name gets my heart pounding! This prospect is more of a man than some other full fledged MC members, of a different club of course. He knows exactly what his Firefly needs and lets her set the pace of her heart and body. Nothing is sexier than a confident man wanting to protect his woman.
There are MC books out there that are grittier than this series but I don't think they draw you in the way this series does. The Kings of Retribution don't shy away from violence when it's called for but in Prospect they also address the ramifications that comes along with the violence and death. Very rarely does a story touch on the emotions a biker can have dealing with that especially the first time. Jake taking the time to talk to Sam about it shows the true depth of brotherhood and this club.
It is no secret I am a big fan of this series and these amazing authors. And I can't help but get excited about the direction they are taking this series! More please!

Both Sam MacGregor and Sofia Torres in "Prospect" were very flawed characters who found each other in Polson, Montana while under the protection of the Kings of Retribution MC. Sam saved his friend, Alba in book 2 of the series and Sofia saved Bella in book 1 and helped Luna in this story so they were both a good fit for The Kings and a memorable couple!
Jake, the President of The Kings asked Sam to be a prospect because he saw how loyal he was to the MC and his best friends but he had already fallen for Sofia, his Firefly. I enjoyed their slow burn and when they told each others their truth, well what angst! This story will have you on the edge of your seat while trying to remember when Alba and Leah were so wrong about their assumption about Sam! Sam can be just as ruthless as Jake, Logan,Gabriel, Reid and Quinn when it comes to the MC and his woman!
Looking forward in who will get a story next in the world of The Kings! Hoping it's Nikolai and Leah ...

Sam McGregor has walked away from his father after his demands he join the family business. Sam doesn't want anything to do with the man who only looked out for himself and treated his mother and himself horribly. Relocating to Montana with his best friends he meets Sofia who has her own demons she is working on slaying. Sam is patient though and knows that Sofia is meant to be his. When he is asked to prospect for The Kings of Retribution MC, everything begins to fit Now is his time to prove to Sofia he is worth the chance, but old threats surround them and will they figure out where they are coming from in time?
Great read. I was curious to see what Sam's story would be when he was introduced. Liked Sofia, she is a survivor who has made strong strides on finding her own path. Anxious to see who is part of the next book.

Plot: Sam has come a long way since he followed Alba to the doorsteps of the Kings of Retribution, and he's set to become a member of the club after a time of prospecting. He may be just a prospect for now, but that won't stop him from claiming Sofia as his woman.
Commentary: I had the same problem with Austin/Lelani - they're so young and worse, we saw them when they were even younger. Worse, we met Same when he was a baby-faced (albeit hot, I guess) college kid but now he's a dirty-talking biker. It's a tough transition to envision and I can't see Sam talking and acting the (exact) same way as the older, grittier club members. I am glad for Sofia, though, that she found the family she deserves.

As someone who has loved and I mean LOVED every Kings of Retribution MC book what I’m about to say is a huge deal. At least in my fangirl brain. Sam is the BEST hero. There I said it. It’s out there. He’s even more amazing than my first love, Jake. It’s not one of those slowly falling in love with him as the book goes on kind of loves, it’s one of those from the very start and grows into epic “OMG BEST BOOK BOYFRIEND EVERRRRR!” kind of loves.
He is patient, sweet, loving, sexy and all kinds of perfect from start to finish. He loves Sofia so hard from the moment he spots her. I just can’t even put into words how magical their relationship is. Sofia has grown into an extremely smart and even more extremely kind woman herself among her the perfect other half to Sam. All that epic love is surrounded in all kinds of action and suspense and the Kings family continues to grow as we meet new characters. I’m dying to get my hands on the next book!

This is the seventh book in the Kings of Retribution MC Series by Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez. I’ve read and liked every book in this series so far but this one was just okay for me. Honestly I was bored reading this and skimmed a lot of it. I also think the relationship between Sam and Sofia felt forced and not at all natural. I want Demetri and Nikolai’s story and at this point I don’t even care about these other characters.

This book was like visiting with my family & catching up with old friends & meeting & falling in love with new characters.
Sofia & Sam are both young characters, but they’ve faced certain challenges that have matured them. They were both such strong characters, I really enjoyed their story. I loved seeing Sam take his time with Sofia. The action was top notch & this book was definitely steamy, Sam is one sexy guy. Their story has such depth, it was great seeing all the levels. I never want this series to end, each person in the Kings deserve their HEA!!

I have been curious about Sam since he was introduced. And the dynamic duo did not disappoint. Sam is everything a woman could possibly want in a man—strong, fierce, loyal, kind, respectful, and so much more. And his woman is very much the same. Both Sam and Sofia were dealt a crappy hand early in life and have both worked hard to overcome it with the help of the Kings. When these two souls come together, stand back because sparks will be flying from the pages. As an added bonus, we are introduced to some new characters, and I can’t wait to read their stories. Well done, ladies!!

I was disappointed with this book ,which is hard to say considering I’ve enjoyed every other book so far.
I got more enjoyment out of the interaction between Riggs and Luna , than I did between Sam and Sofia .

Someone had to grab me tight because the need to start reading this book at 1am was super strong... But I couldn't... I couldn't start it at that hour because I knew that I would only stop when the book was over and I needed to get up way early to go to work... But dayum if that wasn't hard... It's like wanting to eat that chocolate but you can't. You know you have it but can't... Dayum...
Sandy Alvarez and Crystal Daniels are this fantastic duo of queens in the MC world. Their books are one of the best I've ever read and it's amazing the fact that they keep giving us more and more... I'm so in love right now...
Their writing is sweet but powerfull, sexy and overpowering, dark but with the light shining straight away... And I can't get enough...
Prospect is their latest release and it's the seventh book from the Kings of Retribution MC series... And what a series this has been.

This new book explores the lifes of Sam and Sofia.
Sam wanted to be himself, free to take his own decisions but his father had other ideas. He was supposed to take care of his father business but he don't want to. Arriving to Polson will give him not only a fresh start, a home with the Kings but also a beautiful girl crosses his path...
Sofia had endured years of torture, madness and pain. When her path crosses with Bella they formed a tight bond stronger that blood. When she meets Sam, the feelings she thought were death aren't and now...
OMG... OMG... This book... I'm in love. Sam and Sofia are perfect.
Sublime plot, very well written, super engaging and intense. Each chapter grabbed my attention till the end. I was stunned and so excited at the same time.
It was amazing to know more about these two and I was so happy to get to know them better.
They share a great chemistry and it was perfect the way they embraced their imperfections. No one is invicible so sometimes it's the best to rely on someone.
Love, loyalty, family bonds, friendship are very present in this book as well as crime, darkness, greed and violence. Each emotion was what made this book even better.
Crystal and Sandy you girls are creating one of the best MC series I've ever read and I'm so eager to get more. I need Luna and Riggs story like yesterday... I need more.

Spectacular, phenomenal, remarkable are just a few words to describe this book. Crystal and Sandy know how to draw you into the lives of their characters and makes you believe they are real. You feel like you know them you are invested in their lives and what happens. This is book 7 in The Kings of Retribution MC series and yes the book is a standalone but I would advise you to read the first six. One because they are Amazing, two because you understand who the secondary characters are in the story and well who really needs a better reason than they are UNBELIEVABLY BRILLIANT and WORTH EVERY CENT!!!! Now back to the book .
Sofia has overcome so much in her young life and is determined to help other in her situation. The kings of Retribution MC helped her after rescuing her from a violent ruthless MC out of Mexico and took her in years ago and now she is a special part of their family. She now lives at New Hope House a place for women who need a new beginning from abusive or dangerous situations where they can gain independence and get counseling from a doctor. She is fierce, brave, and loyal to the people around her. I received an ARC for my honest review
These ladies did it again! This story of Sam and Sophia was one for the record books! This was a beautiful story of love and family. More than that this was a story about trauma and coming through the trauma on the other side. Both Sam and Sophia have major things to overcome and they do it together. I loved how this wasn't just an instant they are in love story. Sam made sure they were friends first because of Sophia's traumas. This really showed the character of Sam an how amazing of a guy he is. My thoughts on the main characters:
Sam: I love how patient he is with Sofia. He can sense she had some trauma and is so very careful with her. Sam's relationship with his dad….sigh.. I'm amazed Sam is as seen as he is having the kind of dad he has. I've never been so frustrated with someones dad! Jake really took on the father role with Sam which was incredibly heart warming since Sam really needed a good father figure.
Sofia: when we see her having an anxiety attack in regards to her past it really shows her vulnerability as well as her strength in getting through some really rough times. The line that resonates with me so much and was brilliant : that creates a continuous loop making it harder to break free from the crippling hold my anxiety and mind has on me. It was so inspiring to see how protective all of the guys were over Sophia. These books are written so well with the theme of family. I love how vounerable yet strong Sophia is. Her protecting Luna shows her strength
Enjoy that more talk of the Louisiana mc is being mentioned. I also love the introduction of Luna.
I can't wait to see what these ladies come up with next. Another 5 star read.

Final thoughts
As someone who has NEVER been a victim of violence like the women in this particular book have been I don't feel like I am the best person to speak on the way Sam handles him approaching Sofia.
I thought it was sweet and I thought he approached it well but maybe someone with better experience would disagree.
I thought Sam was very sweet and it was interesting his way of being, if you've read the books in order you meet Sam as someone not a biker but still a protector and you see his character develop into being a biker and into being more of a protector and a family member to the club I really have enjoyed that.
Based on the above I think that is why I enjoyed Sam's story so much. Sofia is a good character too, you see her character change by starting to trust more and she ends up trusting Sam completely.
This romance is very sweet and a nice end to this series.

Sam has finally found his place in the world, his family. Becoming part of the MC that has had his back is another step towards having the life he has always wanted. The only thing left is for Sofia to be on the back of his bike and in his arms. Sofia has had it rough and he has been playing the long game. He will take as long as she needs to get comfortable with him, to let him into her heart. Sofia cannot believe her luck, that after a horrible past she has a chance to step into a perfect future with him. When an outlaw MC moves into town and threatens Sofia and the women at the shelter, the Kings and Sam will do whatever it takes to keep them safe.
Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez keep raising the bar in each book of the Kings of Retribution. Sam and Sofia have been secondary characters for a while and it was finally time for them to get their happy. Their story couldn't have been more perfect, more satisfying. These two have had a rough time but they haven't let it poison them, harden them. They know what love is even if it has been elusive and hard to come by in their lives. They cherish their new found family and each other and I loved every moment spent with these characters. I cannot wait to see what else is in store for the Kings of Retribution!

Ok..... Where in the hell do I even begin. I have had the pleasure of reading every single one of the books in this amazing series. This writing sister team hits the mark every single time.
Sam and Sofia both had crappy childhoods. Both being abused in one way or the other. When Sam lays eyes on Sofia he knows that she will be it for him. He is so sweet and caring he does not want to pressure her in any way. His tenderness and attentiveness is what really spoke to me. He made sure to put Sofia above all, and he makes sure she knows it. The approval he gets from each one of his brothers is something Sam strives for. Sofia has grown so much since her experience.
This book had me pulled in from beginning to end with everything that happens. We get some action, because let's face it you do not mess with anyone in the Kings family without some sort of retribution... The romance was sizzling hot (you go Sam!!), and of course you get family.
My favorite quote of the book was made by Sam. "I found a place to hang my hat. I found my family. My future." " I found my home." In my opinion no truer words have ever been spoken.

Pros.pect :a person regarded as likely to succeed A person likely to succeed... Yeah, that sums up Sam. He is everything a good man should be. Kind, gentle, loyal, fierce, and really strong when the need arises. His handling of Sofia was all about being a man in the truest sense of the word. He was kind and respectful but never backed down from what was "his". I usually like my heroes with more of an "edge" but I have to admit Sam could change my mind. They have both lived through a lot for their youthful years. They grew from these experiences and didn't let their pasts define them. We got to see a beautiful story of love unfold and it was phenomenal. Thank you for allowing me to receive an ARC and review this fabulous addition to The Kings. This book was truly masterly done.

I love the Kings of Retribution MC!!!!! Each book has been amazing in its own way. This book is just as amazing!
Sam has been a background character for a while. I’m so glad to see him brought into the fold at the MC and that he finally has a family after what happened to his blood family.
Sophie is a precious soul that deserves all the good in the world. Sam is a perfect match for her. His best friends are women so we know he will do everything to put his firefly first.
There are multiple enemies coming at them and we see Sam step up into his MC role beautifully. His love for Sophie is unwavering.
We have some additional characters that we get to meet throughout the book that help bring together Sophie and Sam’s story. I’m praying the next books are about Nikolai and Riggs. They both have stolen my heart already!
This book fits perfectly into the series and you won’t be able to stop reading it. Once it’s done you will be wishing it lasted longer!

I feel like we have been waiting for this one for a long time. I love that Sofia finally gets a HEA, she really deserves it due to her past. Sam is a perfect fit for Sofia and I loved that he knew that Sofia needed time and he worked on building her a friendship for years first. Once Sam let his feelings be known, things were smooth sailing for them as a couple. The only troubles came from outside and boy what trouble it was. One track of trouble was pretty easy for the club to take care of, with the help from their LA brothers. The bigger trouble, also had the LA brothers helping them, but things were more involved.
The ending to this one was great, loved the big party and how happy everyone was.

Welcome back to the Kings an awesome MC that it easy to get addicted to. This time we follow Sam as he settle s I to the MC world after following his BFF there previously. He has a thing for Sofia but she has a traumatic past which his road a bumpy one. Sam has no issues with that and is in for the long game. Super sweet yet still full of action, steam, and alpha males. Perfect for fans of MC romance. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

These books keep getting better and better. Seriously this is one of my favorite series. I love every single King of Retribution character. Sam and Sophia story did not disappoint. It really warmed my heart and he was the best kind of hero. How he understood what she went through and was so good to her. This entire MC is filled with real men!! Now we have to wait for Glory/ Demitri and Nickoli / Leah. I will be inpatiently waiting over here!!

Audiobook.3.75. I review of the whole series. As individual books they are solid, with the exception of constantly being reminded that the MC have each other’s back. As a whole they blur together. That being said the narrators are not all the same on each book, but they all did a excellent job. I will be reading the the two spin-offs.

I confess that I think I was losing interest in this series by the time I got to this book, so I didn’t do a great job of paying attention, which didn’t help me love it. I don’t dislike it. I just had enough. Everything seem to be the same thing over and over again. I got bored.

I have been patiently waiting on this book and it was everything I hoped it would be. This author duo knows how to make you love their characters. Sam has held a special place in my heart since he befriended Alba. He's such a caring, loyal guy. Sofia, where do I begin with her, has been through so much in her young life but has the best outlook on life. Seeing this young couple come together made my heart happy. It was nice seeing all the Kings and their women. Gosh I love Quinn he cracks me up literally lol.
