"What was it you said?" His breath was close to my ear, all I could smell was his masculine scent.
I glanced around, noticing we were the only ones standing outside.
"Cal-" I stammered softly, my eyes drinking his in as he spoke.

One of the first works of Linz I fell in love with, and it still captures me every time. I read this whole book in a day - I couldn't put my phone down! The dynamics of this story is amazing. This story's quite a cliché but I love clichés so no complains from me! 🤪 would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants a great story with a little bit (...okay probably more than a little bit) of steam if you know what I mean 😉

The perfect book to cuddle up with after a long hard day. The author tells the story of Cal and Gretchen so wonderfully that every chapter draws you in deeper, taking you on an emotional rollercoaster in the best way!! Will be reading it again for sure!!

Heartstopping, captivating romance
I absolutely loved this book. Cal had my heart from the moment I met him, and all of the secrets and angst and drama made this book a heartstopping unputdownable romance. When I wasn't reading it I was still thinking about it. This book has the right amount of steaminess and love and had me swooning. And the epilogue was just adorable. I can't wait to read more of this amazing author's books.

The most heart-warming love story
As a romance goes, this book has it all...unconditional love, steamy scenes and thrills of danger. It all starts when hot headed bad boy Cal meets his cousin's girlfriend...sweet Gretchen. You would think, that blood is thick and you do not mess with your family's bond...especially over a girl. But Cal knows what he wants and he is not about to let go the only girl which made him feel "that feeling". And as he rightly said:" you cannot help who you fall in love with". Gretchen's world turns upside down when she meets Cal. He arouses emotions, which no one else could or did, but amongst everything she needs to deal with guilt towards her ex, judgment of her friends and creeping up Cal's past.
I absolutely adore portrayed main characters and the way they changed as events evolved in Winterbourne and New York City. Cal is just sweet, romantic and overly protective guy. His "I f@%&ing love you so much" made my heart race *sight* hahaha! Whereas, Gretchen changed from that sweet innocent girl to fiery and feisty, especially in moments of jealousy. Personally, I think there was abrupt ending to Cal's past "involvements" (trying not to leave any spoilers!). In reality, it would no be so easy to walk away from that kind of job and there would be some consequences. But as it is first book in series, maybe we will find out more in follow up books. Plus, I am more than satisfied with that "happily ever after " ending.
I have read quite few books of this author on Inkitt, but this book is by far my favourite. It is well executed piece of work and definitely impressive for debut book.

Mine by Linzvonc, is the first book in the Winterburg Series. This is a high school, then college romance with mafia elements. Mine is Cal and Gretchen’s love story as they meet and grow individually and as a couple. Cal is the mysterious bad boy with a dangerous past. Gretchen is a sweet senior with a “perfect life” and a boyfriend she loves. When Cal and Gretchen meet, their attraction is instant, explosive, and fierce. After high school, Cal and Gretchen move to New York so Gretchen can pursue a college degree. Cal’s past repeatedly comes back to haunt their relationship and they must trust each other in order to save their lives and relationship.
Linzvonc has written a beautiful love story that evoked many emotions. I cried, laughed, and was slightly frustrated with these characters, but overall really enjoyed them. Cal’s fierce protectiveness and Gretchen’s strength in going after what she wants to show the author’s ability to create unique characters. I loved Cal and Gretchen’s relationship, their relationship was truly something to aspire to. It really showcases the belief that your soulmate is out there.

However, the plot was slightly predictable, and there were a few loose ends that could have been addressed, but overall this was a good book and a great debut novel!

Lovely story - exciting with plenty of steam. I liked seeing the heroine find herself and her own sense of self-worth. The plot did feel a little "done," but that didn't take away from my reading experience too much as the characters were engaging. This isn't really a story with a lot of twists and turns - you can see what's coming - but that doesn't make the journey any less enjoyable.

Best series I've ever read! Mine is the love story of breathtaking bad-boy Cal and Gretchen. Follow Cal as he tries to escape his past, as he and his fair Raven are drawn together in an almost painfully intense, passionate romance. The characters are beautifully developed with so much depth you can feel their every emotion! The second part continues the journey of their intense love story as their relationship grows. A love like no other, their need for one another almost desperate. In the very first chapter, Gretchen's description of what she feels when kissing Cal will take your breath away! A book I just couldn't put down until I finished it...then I greedily wanted more and there was more 💖. Mine is the start of the journey of Cal & Gretchen and how they meet, fall in love, struggle and reunite...don't want to give too much away though. The writing is beyond perfect, grips you throughout with action, passion, heat and good old fashioned true love. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed, you'll just be looking for the next one 💞💞💞

There are frequent hot and heavy scenes, and generally enough variety to keep things interesting while still believable. Underneath the hot and heavy is a really intense storyline that will keep you guessing.

I really enjoyed the story of Cal and Gretchen! First came across Linz on wattpad and followed her to Inkitt where I had the pleasure to read it. Now I am happy to be able to have it on Kindle!

This is the ultimate love story. It starts with Gretchen being with Cals cousin and then Cal comes in and he sweeps her off her feet. There’s a bit of everything in there.
It’s written really well and gets you hooked on the first page. I can’t wait for the next book to be published! ❤️

Mine follows Gretchen on her journey to finish high school. She’s a popular girl, dating the Quarterback (Luke); her life seems perfect. And then Cal comes in and turns her life upside down. Cal is Luke’s cousin. He’s sexy and mysterious and there’s something about him that Gretchen can’t stay away from. Eventually, she chooses Cal over Luke and that’s when shit hits the fan. Secrets are revealed, friendships are tested….it’s crazy. Then we make it to part two - formerly Ours - Gretchen is attending college in New York, studying to be a therapist. Her and Cal have agreed to try the long distance thing but he can’t stay away. He appears in New York to be with Gretchen even though his past surrounds him in that city. This past is dangerous, and he wants to keep it as far from Gretchen as possible. Can he do that now that they’re both living in New York? It’s really a toss up with a twist at the end …. Although with the chapter titles (that I read ahead of time) the twist is easy to see coming.
If you want a suspenseful romance story, I highly recommend this one. It’s so good.

Good story. Loved Cal from the start and his cousin not so much. Gretchen was dating Cal's cousin, but once they met and touched they belonged to one another.
I liked the story, I saw it going a different direction than it did, but I still enjoyed the story.

This is where it all starts i have loved this book from the beginning the love the characters have for one another is truly remarkable this book is the reason that lynsey carter is one of my favourite author her books can make you laugh and cry and is definitely one book you could instantly fall in love with it makes you believe in love again and taking chances i n life for the ones you love i would definitely recommend you read this amazing book to anyone so what you waiting for fall in love with this authors work ❤️ it was a an honour to have read your work keep up your wonderful work and thank you

Such an incredible book. The story is so gripping and the characters so real. I couldn’t put it down, read it all in one day and started on the second book straight away. I’d you are look for romance, drama, heartache and characters that you wish were real, then this book is for you!

I enjoyed reading Mine, it completely blew my mind. As for the author, she manages to surpass my expectations and at the same time is nothing at all as I expected, she surprises me every time. I recommend mine and every book Linzvonc writes.
