Life in the valley is simple and sweet. Haru loves their family and friends, and going to school, though their confidence is crushed by the scathing comments of bullies. Haru has big dreams but feels trapped by the unmoving safety of the valley, until the day comes that a great darkness crosses their path, and Haru and Yama must embark on a large adventure to try and protect all that they love.
