What could be better than being stuck in France when the world goes on lockdown?

Being stuck there with a dangerously handsome moroi vampire.

Tessa, a human attorney for the moroi-run company Chronos Corp finds herself alone and unable to get a flight out the Nice, France.

Who should come to her rescue?

None other than Luc Morgan, the difficult vampire she'd spent a week in negotiations with.

As an old vampire, Luc is shrewd, calculating, and very, very French.

T.L. Christianson did a great job on this Novella, the short story was written well with a strong plot. I enjoyed Luc and Tessa's story, they were made for each other. The attraction and connection between them was strong, so wasn't the chemistry. They were good together.
I enjoyed this story, looking forward to reading more.
Thank you, T.L. Christianson. Great work :)

Vermillion..
This story is short and sweet..
The main characters are Tessa who is human and Luc who is Morroi Vampire.. it is the start of a sweet story with intrigue and passion.
I loved reading the story.. but when I was finished.. I wanted more. I can't wait to see what adventure this Author will have for Luc and Tessa.

“Qui n’avance pas, recule.’ It means ‘if one does not move forward, one is moving backward.”

Vermillion is written in the Shades of Red series that this author writes. I wouldn’t say you need to read the rest in the series in order to read this one, I’d still recommend it because it gives you more of a background into this one. This also isn’t a full length book. It’s short, sweet, and leaves you wanting more of Luc and Tessa. It’s a fast read written wonderfully. A fast read but still absolutely amazing.

In this story we meet Tessa who works for Chronos Corp. She’s unsure of herself, intelligent but aloof, and compassionate. I throughly enjoyed her character. And Luc, what can I say about him? He’s intriguing, HOT, and so much more. There’s a lot more to him that he keeps hidden away. He isn’t the cocky, rich, bachelor that everyone thinks he is. Together they make one heck of a team!

Tessa travels to Nice, France in order to help her boss with Luc’s case when a virus starts spreading throughout the world and she’s stuck. Her hotel doesn’t have a room available for her. There’s history, chemistry that’s off the charts, sweet moments where little truths are given, and so much more. Wonderfully written with a beautiful little town to escape into.

An absolute must read book!!!

Vermillion is a novella in the Shades of Red series, but it can be read alone. It fits perfectly into the series as a great short read. Tessa is an attorney for the New York clan but this story takes place in France. I would love to read more about Tessa and Luc, this was a great low-conflict new-adult read. I absolutely love the shades of red series and this was no different.

Vermillion
Shades of Red, Book 4.5
T.L.Christianson, author

Another well written storyline with a focus that seems to correlate with the nuances of the trials of our society today. I truly enjoyed this entire series and I am sad that this is the last story. The author did a fantastic job of intermingling paranormal characters along side of human characters.
