A Holiday in Goa

Rate this book
The marriage venue is booked, the wedding cards are printed, and the shopping is done. However, the impending marriage is filling Ananya with jitters. It turns stressful enough to make her take a vacation with her best friends. A weeklong trip to Goa feels like just the escape that she needs to help clear her head. Something that might cheer her up. A vacation free of stress and complications. But the last thing that she bargained for is to meet someone new. Especially someone tall, handsome, and empathetic!

Shiv is just getting his life together after his breakup. All he is looking for is a fling. And what better place could he go to than to Goa? A place filled with palm trees, winding roads, serene beaches, and attractive nightclubs. It is unfortunate that he is thrown together with the beautiful and strong-willed Ananya. Because the last thing he wants to do is fall in love. If only he could just get through this holiday without another heartache!

What starts as a mild attraction between Shiv and Ananya soon turns into something undeniable. Something that stirs up desire and confusion in equal measure. Will they dive into a holiday fling or stick to their plan?

A heart-warming story filled with sun, beaches, love, laughter, and hope.

A sweet story about three friends set in Goa. The language is simple and the story has been written well. The characters are realistic and I liked the easy camaraderie between the girls. I also liked the friendship between Ananya and Shiv. Though descriptive and a bit on the slower side, the story is about friendship, love, understanding and family. A nice story to unwind.

One of the best romantic novels in recent past.

This is first book I read from this author, and I read a lot of romantic novels with the aid of my Kindle unlimited subscription. This is easily one of the best romantic novels that I read in recent past. Good thing about this novel is, there is no unnecessarily inserted intimacy, author has proved that, a good romantic can also be written without having forced intimate scenes. Overall, a feel good novel. Am sure going to read rest of others novels from this author.

There were some fillers which were not at all required, and I wasn't expecting that in her books, as others that I read by her were free of that. There was this stark annotation about her stories - In the very beginning itself the reader can very easily identify how the story would roll out, it's just the moments that she offers hold the essence of the journey.

I wish if covers of her book had a professional touch, then it could lure more readers.

Nice read

Ann and shiv a very beautiful story. A trip to Goa with unknown reasons but destines to be together for good. They meet in a strange set up but couldn't control the power of love to over power their present situation. A wonderfully written plot and beautiful ending with so much to praise.
