☆ Cherise ☆
He found me again.
I moved to another state, and the bastard found me.
Worst part is, I tried really hard to help him get his life on track.
Now, he was making me a nervous wreck.
I couldn’t date, even if I wanted to.
I couldn’t go out with friends.
I couldn’t stay home and feel safe.
Then, one day, I got a call from an ex-military guy looking for a therapist.
He needed clearance to join the FBI.
He could be my stalker, or he could be a hero.
Determined not to live in fear any longer, I decided to help him.

☆Tobin ☆
After my brother's death, I realized in serving my country, I'd done a disservice to my family.
So, I snapped and broke some shit.
They quickly gave me my exit papers from the military.
As an ex-Marine, if I ever wanted to get into the FBI, I'd need to prove I wasn't a safety concern.
Apparently, people with anger management issues shouldn't carry weapons.
So I found a therapist—a female therapist.
We were all of fifteen minutes into our session when I realized all was not right in her world.
She was on edge because she had a stalker.
Lucky for me, I wasn't currently employed.
Lucky for her, I was highly trained and intensely motivated to save her.
I'd always been a sucker for a damsel in distress.
And this woman needed a hero.

Hero

This power packed story left me speechless!
Cherise had endured a lot at the hands of a stalker named Chad. Moving away to start fresh was not a bad deal but as fate would have it, a familiar face from that fateful night fifteen years earlier reappeared. At the same time, mysterious package with eeery message arrives . But her Hero, Tobin is there. After everything Cherise had endured , what would happen next?
The never ending suspense kept my attention. Waiting on book 2!

Wow, What A Hero...

I do not know where that start at with this one. You can’t help but love Tobin and Cherise. This book was full of lots of adventure and when you though Chad in the mix the crazy comes out. Your heart will be pumping faster at every turn of the page in this book. Their were so many moments in this book that kelp me speechless. You just knew from the first moment of meeting each other that Tobin was in love with Cherise. I can’t wait for the second book to come out. Malaysia and Andre really need their on books.

Not Sure...

This was a good story, but it felt a lot off in places. As well as unanswered questions. Where's Ava? Was there birth control? And how did Andrea get back at the end? Is he not still in the Marine's? Or did he move to the east coast?

Disappointing

The book’s idea was good however there were too many holes in the story. First off, you can’t have a romantic relationship with a patient for 5 years afterwards and with her signing off on his fitness it is unlikely that either would keep or get their jobs. Next for a psychiatrist she was far too emotional. I’m sure having a stalker is hell but her complete meltdown was too much. Psychiatrists are supposed to be good at compartmentalizing otherwise they couldn’t do their jobs. She is supposed to be trained to talked to mentally ill patients so loosing her cool while talking to Chad was weird. Yes things got personal however lets be honest, she knew Eva but they didn’t have a strong enough connection for her to be that affected. It would have made more sense if it was Malaysia. Also as a doctor, she shouldn’t have been that disgusted by a human heart, although it was in terrible circumstances. What really annoyed me though was her inability to follow instructions and let Tobin do what he does best. He is the trained professional so frankly her trying to go with him when she has no knowledge of self defense was ridiculous. She almost got him seriously injured by opening the door in the end when she was asked not to and distracted him. If she can’t stomach him being in danger, how is she going to deal with him working for the FBI? I imagine the next book is about Shane kidnapping Malaysia.

"Hero: A Bad Boy Military Romance" by Shani Greene-Dowdell

My Speculation:

"Hero: A Bad Boy Military Romance" was a story that will keep the reader turning the pages for more of the story. The heroine Cherise never thought that she would have the problem of a stalker that would have her moving to get away from him. However, after she moves, Cherise is found that this stalker has found her once again. What will she do? Well, it just so happens that a hero named Tobin, who just happened to be an ex-marine and also a patient of Cherise, just happens to be there to save the day. What was it between these to Cherise and Tobin? Had these two met before? Now, how all of this will play out was uniquely played out, and to find out, I will stop here and say you must pick up this good read to found out how well this author brings it all out to the reader. I will say the reader will still be left wanting more because the story will end in a cliffhanger. With Cherise's problem solved, what else is happening?

Cherise and Tobin

I really enjoyed the first book in this series. Cherise and her best friend Malaysia met two guys one night on their way to a club. Tobin only had eyes for Cherise, while his friend had eyes for Malaysia. 15 years later they all meet again. There are lots that's changed. Malaysia has finally got her fashions notice, Tobin is a marine, his friend Shane is hiding from the FBI, and Cherise has picked up a stalker. How did we get here, click purchase to find out. 😉😉😉

A great book. Loved the bad boy turned good boy! Tobin and Cherise met years ago when he was surely a bad boy. - Read the prelude book to Hero. Again when older they met professionally and there is more than a spark waiting to ignite. When Cherise's stalker makes himself known that he has followed her to her new haven, Tobin steps in. Who will get to Cherise's heart first? The stalker or Tobin?

They left an unforgettable mark on each other

Their chance meeting fifteen years ago made Tobin Graham want to do better with his life. He wanted to be worthy of a woman like Dr. Cherise Johnston. She inspired him to be a better man. To Cherise, she felt that there was more to Tobin than being a thug. They never forgot each other in their first tense encounter.

Fifteen years later when they met again, those feelings, once thought buried, began rearing its head again when Tobin became her first patient in her new office. Once he realized she had a stalker, he owed to do what was needed to keep her safe.

Shani wrote a story that had me holding my breath and giving me heart palpitations from the hair raising drama. I really felt his angst when he learned of his brother's death. That pain went deep. We see Tobin going from a common street thug doing what he needed to survive after being a ward of the state at a young age, becoming a Marine who gave his all for his country, but his only family member was worth so much more to him. Now Cherise was back in his life after all these years and he was not going to give her up for any reason, not even a psychotic stalker.

With all of that said, I really enjoyed this story, but I REALLY HATE CLIFFHANGERS!

A good Man

I loved this book. It was so good. The storyline was believable and developed well. We were able to get a peek of Cherise and Tobin while they were young and experienced a life changing incident to when they were adults still thinking of that incident from fifteen years ago. The characters were all well developed and interesting. I was glad that Tobin left his past behind and made a good life for himself. Tobin deserved some happiness and I was glad that he and Cherise didn't waste any time getting together. Cherish and Tobin both knew that they wanted to be with each other as soon as they saw each other and circumstances helped them get together faster. Chad was just crazy and got what he deserved. I liked the relationship Tobin had with Andre because he wasn't alone and had created his own family and Cherise's relationship with Malaysia was so true. I loved how their story developed into a love story. Overall it was a very good read which puts it in my read again category.

Awesome and intriguing

I loved this story. Cherise and Tobin met on a night that changed everyone's life. Some for the good and other's dealt with tragedy , success and turmoil. Years later by they met again by chance. Circumstances led to Tobin becoming her hero.
Loved how everything turned out in the end. Can't wait to see what happens to Malaysia in the next book. Very good read!

Great Heroes, Heroines and Villains👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Hero was fantastic. Cherise, Malaysia Tobin, Andre and crazy Chad had me locked into this story. I read this story in one sitting. As usual there's sexual tension, great chemistry, characters you love and characters you love to hate. The storyline gave me all that i love in a romance suspense. Action, suspense and hot as fire sensual scenes. 💗

Perfect story!

I really enjoyed this story. The Author wrote a great book regarding the dangers on the streets that could and does happen too often. The story is also about stalkers and how they terrorize their victims with the misguided thoughts along with the violence they create. Tobin coming into Cherise's life was a Godsend. I'm looking forward to start the next one.

Great ending for Chad. This story started off very strong and engaging to the readers. Somewhere in the middle, Cherise became very annoying and unlikable. The love connection between her and Tobin didn’t really translate whenever you would read a scene involving both of them. I could not feel the true passion. So overall it was an ok read.
