Porsha and Keith are trying to work out their one night stand months ago when they find a dead body at a company halloween party. There’s only one person who would benefit from the CEOs death…. Keith
I was in the mood for something Halloween-ish this year and this book popped up in my twitter feed. I got it thinking it would be a quick, possible spooky, maybe campy read.
What I really enjoyed about his book is how colloquially it's written. It gave the feel of being right there with the characters participating in the whole experience. The story is written from the perspective of 2 characters and switches back and forth.
Mainly this is about 2 people who are attracted to each other but don't know how the other feels. This is all set in the backdrop of an evening event set up for the employees of a company they all work for. And there's a murder. It did feel campy and off-beat.
It's a fun, short that hit the spot for Halloween.
A quick mystery read. Porsha and Keith are trying to figure what's going after their summer hook up. They both attend a company party to hash out what they might to each other until they find out who done it. Pretty straightforward and you find out the why in last 2 pages.
A spooky, spicy lil Halloween whodunit, as I've come to expect from Ms Ryse! I love the tribute to Chadwick Boseman. 🖤
This whole series is such fun. They're easy, fast-paced, sexy, murder mysteries that suck you in for a brief time and definitely leave you wanting more, but in a good way. 😁
This was definitely fun! I love that you’re splash a dash of romance in these cozy mysteries! They are so light and fun, but continues to take me on a journey!
Um... what the fuck!!! This was intense and also sexy!! A little bit rushed but definitely worth a read and a reread! Will definitely be reading more from Necole Ryse!
