Thoughts:
I enjoyed listening to this one, but I also struggled with it. Obviously I'm a bit biased as a military wife, but I don't agree with some of the statements made. I do however, definitely agree with some of the points of view. I give it a 3 because I was so conflicted.

Book club read … i found myself vacillating between agreeing and arguing with the ideas in this book, but realized it would take some research to decide the truth of the things laid out there. I dont know if I’m interested enough to put in the work. The concepts are interesting though. I’m looking forward to the discussion.

Good-- frustrating that there aren't many more books like this. Very quick read and a little skimpy on details as a result, but well worth the read.

Great read for anyone who has fought overseas and would like to understand how much that camaraderie actually meant and why some people miss it so much.
