Do opposites really attract, or would they be better off far apart?
That’s the very question Layla Adams is trying to answer.
A legal assistant at a large, respected law firm by day, she comes from a struggling background and pays it forward at a shelter by night. Being in her line of work, she is often surrounded by the privileged and the entitled, especially the St. James family. Particularly their careless son, Treyton St. James.
Thanks to his father, Treyton's third DUI charge will be swept under the rug if he commits to perform community service. And it just so happens he will be doing his sentence right alongside Layla at the MyPlace shelter.
And now it’s part of her job to babysit him. And though he is her exact opposite: rich, entitled, reckless, Layla finds herself annoyingly attracted to the handsome Treyton St. James.
Ava Greene grew up in Hollywood where she performed in numerous tv shows, commercials and variety acts before retiring to work behind the scenes. Pandora's Box is her first novel.
There are just some things that not even a promotion are worth...and he is one of them
TROUBLE is the first book in The Privileged Series. Well there is a prequel titles PRIVILEGED (PREQUEL) which sets up the continuing story of Layla Adams and Treyton St. James. This first book finds Layla working as a legal assistant at a high end firm in where Attorney Richard St. James is the lead partner. She has been there for the last six months and is doing exceptionally well researching cases for the firm. She is given a promotion for all of her hard work but there is a slight caveat. Treyton St. James has gotten his third DUI conviction. Instead of going to prison he has to do community service, along with lose his license for a while. The deal was worked so that he would spend his time at the shelter MyPlace. The Mrs. St. James runs a charity organization which donates a large amount of money to MyPlace each year so having Treyton work for the charity will also be a way of keeping an eye on him. Layla has volunteered with MyPlace for a number of years now so Richard has asked her to "babysit" Treyton at both the office, where they will work together on research, and also at MyPlace, where Treyton will do what is needed. The only problem is that these two are like fire and gasoline to each other. Layla sees Treyton as an over privileged, spoiled rich boy who's family buys his way out of trouble and he sees her as an uptight Ms. Know-It-All. But they both also have a draw that is starting.
This first book sets the pace for the series as fast-paced, edgy, intriguing, explosive and more than a little bit of sexy fun. The story-line is interesting and before you know it you are done, and left wanting the next book in the series. The characters are starting to be developed but they each have their secrets which you know will be revealed like the best striptease....slow and with some peek-a-boo flashes. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Incredible job Ava, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
Layla was excited when she thought she was getting promoted until she realizes that she has to help Treyton with his community service. She feels like all she is doing is babysitting. Treyton of course is furious about this as well but he is the one who got himself into this situation. Treyton’s father is very impressed with Layla and feels like she would be a good influence on him. I feel like Ava is gearing us up for a wonderful ride with these two. They seem to secretly be drawn to each other but just when you get the feeling of what’s going on bam Ava leaves us just wanting more. Now I just want to read the next book. I am leaving a voluntary review for the arc copy of this book that I received.
Instant Combustible Chemistry - Treyton was a walking disaster from a wealthy family, who had luckily been sentenced to do community service hours at a shelter. Layla grew up poor and had worked hard to make something of herself, so she was really happy when her boss recommended her for a promotion. Unfortunately for Layla, the promotion came with conditions, which she struggled to deal with.
This is one story that will leave you on the edge of your seat, just anticipating what will happen to Treyton and if Layla will stick to her decision. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

The main characters in this book are Layla and Treyton. Layla is a legal assistant at a law firm and gets a promotion and is now tasked to “babysit” the adult son of a senior partner that has gotten community service for his third DUI. The drama and trauma between Layla and Treyton is comical. Rich boy meets not as fortunate girl. Be aware that this book is a cliffhanger.

I love this author's stories and this book was no different. A very short, enemies to lovers story. Told in the third person point of view, which I am not the biggest fan of, however the story was superb. 4.5 stars

This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great drama and romance with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Ok now let me say I want more...just when things were getting really interesting it ends. What no way?!?! These two seem like oil and water but are they really? Who needs a promotion when all you seem to do is babysit a spoiled brat?
I received this as an arc and this is my honest and voluntary review.
The author pulls us further into the lives of Treyton and Layla. She has been assigned by his father, her boss, to work with him in the office as well as his community service responsibility. Although, neither one is where they want to be.

*SPOILERS* Oh boy. Yeah, Treyton's a bit of a douche and I so don't blame Layla for quitting. I would too in that scenario. It seems karma literally bit Treyton in the ass. He's gonna have to do some serious groveling to get Layla back! Can't wait to read the next book!
