This book was, without a doubt, one of the worst works on the Law of Attraction I have ever read. When I saw that one of the authors was Bob Procter I was sure this book was going to be filled with insightful information on how to become prosperous by using the teaching of LOA.
Well, I don’t know what he was smoking, or if the blame should go entirely to Michelle Blood (which I have contemplated), but this was a complete FAIL!

The book is in two halves; the first half by both Procter and Blood, the second by Blood only. If you flip the book over, you’ll notice on the back of the cover it says: ‘GO BEYOND THE SECRET’. This book goes beyond the secret, it goes so far beyond the secret that it literally has hardly anything to do with it.

The First Half:

The book starts off... okay. It tells us all to wake up and smell the coffee. Fair enough, this is a self help book after all. The first three chapters follow this way before the pile of bullsh%# appears. Suddenly I’m reading things which sound nothing like Bob Procter at all. One of the things that comes clearly to mind was when he states that to reach your goal you must force yourself to sit and think every day of what your next action might be, despite the fact that the premise of LOA is that 'you don’t know how, but you’ll be shown', not, 'you don’t know how, so force it!'

And if I read another product placement for “Musivation” I think I’m going to scream!

Now I’m not trying to be picky so I’ll be honest, there were a few good pointers in the first half, but certainly not enough to redeem itself.

The Steaming Pile of Crap AKA the Second Half:

This is where the book literally starts to trip out. Were given a short introduction of how Blood was introduced to a better life, then what follows is a series of repetitive bull-crap trying to be passed off as spiritual help. This entire second half could be summed up in 10 pages if the words ‘God, Love, Sea, Swim, Beautiful, Dark, and Light’ were deleted. This was annoying but I would have forgiven it if what Blood said actually made sense.

Blood says that medication is the only key to use LOA successful to achieve what you want and connect to Source. And she even goes on to say that ‘Buddha’ himself said that the only way to enlightenment was through meditation. For those of you who think this is a valid statement then let me break it down for you.

First, if you’re going with the LOA then by LOA you can do anything, anything you want if you believe you can. ANYTHING! There are no limitations.

Second, I recall Buddha also said this:

“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”

And finally, the statement about having to use meditation to connect to source, because as humans we need to “refuel”, is also utter crap due to the fact that we are extensions of Source, therefore we are always connected, we have an endless supply – because we are Source in physical form!

There were two other things that were also annoying to read in this second half; the first being the ‘dark night’. Blood refers to the dark night as being in a state that is worse than depression, because according to Blood depression is only when you are complaining about things, ‘Oh I can’t do that, those people hate me, my parents are so angry, why can’t I have this, why can’t I have that etc.’ Yes, because you see, Depression isn’t an illness or anything, no, it’s not deep enough like the dark night, it’s not tragic and painful enough like the dark night to be an illness – it’s just complaining about things. Hope all of you out there with depression never get the dark night because then you’ll know all about it! … Also, I couldn’t stop thinking of Batman whilst reading this.

The other thing that annoyed me, and oh so slightly disturbed me, was when I came to a section about sex. Yes, there was a section about sex in a book apparently about using the LOA to attract prosperity. Blood goes on to say that the more enlightened you are that the better you are at choosing partners and love making becomes a meditative Light experience! … Whatever that’s supposed to mean...

As for the writing aspect of this section, well, I couldn’t help but wonder if Blood actually went over her work before she handed it to the publisher.

There were numerous grammar mistakes and misplaced commas, which I usually forgive for I commit the same crimes, but for crying out loud there were even several spelling mistakes! It repeated the words ‘Dark and Light and Hearts’ so much that at times I thought I was reading a script for ‘Kingdom Hearts II”. It’s like she didn’t even care.

And if you’re thinking right now, 'Hey, how can you bag on Blood like this. She got her book published so doesn’t that mean she’s using the LOA correctly?' And I say to this: “I really couldn’t care less about whether she is using the LOA correctly, for the point of this book was not to illustrate how well she can use it, but to inform others how to use it themselves. And she not only failed to do this, but completely lost track of what she was meant to be teaching, didn’t do her research, and, of course, wrote a book so crap that at times I have considered burning it along with my Twilight Saga.”

Do yourself a favour and don’t buy this book! If you want a book that teaches you how to become prosperous, or turn your life around through the power of positive thinking, then just stick with Abraham Hicks. It was complete agony to read and I wish this fate upon nobody.

This book had 196 pages or 222 if you count to product placement
And I give it 1 star.

This book offers the right tools to be able to manifest. Expanding of consciousness is a tool to take beyond this lifetime.

The songs might be very retro 80's-ish, but they were fun. Michelle Blood is so upbeat and happy, plus she has a great voice and was wonderful to listen to. I'd advise others to listen to the audiobook rather than read the book to get the most out of this.

I’m disappointed that Bob Proctor put his name to this book. The “free gifts” which was musivations to download were so bad, I couldn’t even get past listening to the first one. Her singing is that bad. And then there’s all the grammatical and spelling errors. Maybe at least learn the difference between “your” and “you’re” if you’re going to write a book? Sigh, so disappointing.

Excellent Book. Many practices recommended can become life time practices. I walk down the road enjoying the view knowing I am being paid to enjoy myself. Who could ask for more? What is says in this book works.
