Rate this book
From the world of Faceless comes Ben's story. A romantic suspense filled with danger, adventure, mystery, redemption, and a little bit of Forgotten Evil.

Escaped from police custody, Ben finds himself on the run as one of America's most wanted. He planned his escape flawlessly but he couldn't have planned for Kate.

She can't hide the recognition on her face when she runs into the recently arrested trafficker from the news. He can't risk her turning him in, so he forces her to go with him.

Getting to know the sweet IT girl has Ben wishing he could leave behind all the evil he'd been a part of to start a new life as a better man but there are some things he just can't forget.

While a continuation from Faceless, Forgotten Evil can be read as a standalone with no cliffhangers.
This novel contains violence, kidnapping, strong language, and sexual situations intended only for readers 18 or older.

About the author

Nikki Rose

For as long as she can remember, Nikki Rose has enjoyed writing stories. For years, writing was just a hobby for this South Carolina native. It was a way to let out all the stories floating around in her head. After one of those stories took on a mind of its own, outgrowing even the parameters of a single book, Rose knew she had to pursue her dream.

Married to her high school sweetheart and best friend, Rose feels she is truly living out a romance story of her very own. As a stay at home mom of two, she is blessed with the time needed to work on her writing career full-time while her kids are at school or in the wee hours while normal people sleep. She considers herself a music-obsessed chocoholic and hopeless romantic who enjoys weaving romance stories with a healthy dose of mystery and suspense.

Another great book by Nikki Rose! This book is a continuation to Faceless, a dark romance of secret seduction. Except in a strange twist of fate the villain from Faceless, Ben gets a chance to redeem his evil self.

What did Kate do to deserve to be kidnap? Talk to a stranger on a plane. That’s what! Man maybe next time she will keep her mouth closed and not talk to strangers. Especially hot sexy men. Men wanted by the FBI.

Ben is so close to getting out of the country undetected. By the time the police find out he is still alive he will be gone. Escaped to a remote island far, far away. His plan is perfect. Everything is going exactly to plan. That is until he meets Kate. Now she is just his collateral damage.

Wow Nikki! When you first talked Ok Amber! I am so 😡mad.....you didn’t put a warning ⛔️ label on this book. “Will cause emotional turbulence”. 🤣😂. I was a crying mess when I read this book. No joke.

Overall this story is a turbulent adventure with danger around every corner. The characters are dark and evil. You will not agree with Ben’s choices, but if you give him a chance I fully believe you will absolutely forgive Ben by the time you finish this book. Kate is a sweet, beautiful and innocent woman, who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I highly suggest reading Faceless then moving on to Forgotten Evil. Because evil shall be forgotten.

A note for Nikki. ❤️😍

When you and I first talked about you writing Ben’s story, I was like you...a bit hesitant. We both discussed how the readers would feel about Ben’s story after all the terrible things he did in Faceless. But as I read the story you wrote, I could picture it. I could see and feel what you wanted and you did a wonderful job of delivering that story. So Bravo! It is beautiful and you should be proud.

Wow! I knew Ben's story was coming. He was evil and a monster. The one's that are always lurking in the shadows, just watching and waiting. I wasn't sure how much of his story I would like. But then Forgotten Evil happened. I started to read the blurb and it caught my attention. This story is exhilarating! I mean I feel even Ben thinks that he is wired one way only, and Kate crashes into his life and his heart begins to beat again.

There is so much angst in this story that will keep you on your toes. Then Nikki Rose pulls out the big guns and you just can't believe what you are reading! I friggin loved this story and recommend this book! It can be read as a standalone, but I feel reading Faceless first truly built up Ben's character.

Forgotten Evil can be read as a stand-alone but I’m glad I’ve read Faceless first to be introduced to Ben and see that side of him!!

This is Bens story. He’s on the run but luckily for him he had his escape planned before he needed it. He didn’t take into consideration one thing/person- Kate. She is an obstacle he didn’t take into consideration. Kate is a very likeable character. Ben- well I didn’t like him at all in Faceless but he redeemed himself for me in this story.

An excellent story that once I started I was glued to.

This was a new to me author.
This was a quick read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Every time you think you have things figured out, bam comes another plot twist.
Since this was supposed to be a standalone, it would of been nice to learn more of his back story, both as a kid and the choice he was forced into as an adult, both were only given glimpses.
But that's just my preference when reading, the more details the better. I still enjoyed.
For those who feel like a suspenseful read without the nitty gritty this book is definitely for you.

This book was fantastic! It was a new style for Nikki Rose but she hit the mark. I couldn't put my kindle down for a second. Ben and Kate were great characters. Kutos to Rose on this original exciting page-turner! This book is a must read and I highly recommend!

Ben is back and he is on the run. He has a plan to get away. He has covered his tracks and is in the process of making his plan happen when he is spotted by an unlikely person. Now he must keep her until he figures out what to do.

Kate never expected to come across the man that she saw the news reports about. But here she is. She was just supposed to go to a job interview and then come back. What will become of her life now? Is this the beginning of the end?

I loved reading their story and getting the background information for Ben. I understood him better in this book.

Wow what a rollercoaster ride. I so wanted to hate Ben but for some reason I just couldn't. Kate was such a sweetheart but feisty. she gave Ben a run for his money. I loved that no matter what Ben did Kate was willing to help him. I loved this couple and how they overcame the obstacles in their life to have hea. I really enjoy this authors writing. So good.

Absolutely phenomenal book and must read!!!

Ok so I wasn't a fan of Bens since he is such a bad guy and has way to much going against him and plus he can be down right evil. Kate has to be absolutely insane to give him the time of the day but Kate has such a big heart and the light he needs to find his way out of the darkness. This book will have you sucked in from the beginning until the end and still keep you wanting more. So much chemistry and passion and suspense and action packed into this book that will blow you away.

Kate is just the right amount of crazy to be able to deal with Ben. These two have sort of unconventional meeting, but the more they spend time together the more the sparks fly. Sometimes things are not what they seem at first, loved the story between these two.

Forgotten evil was a a really good book it would be the first one that I've read by Nikki Rose and it just drew me in from start to finish . There was just something about the blurb that drew me in and made me want to read it and find out more about these intriguing characters . It was a different pace from what I've been reading and it was a nice change I didn't want to put my kindle down . I loved how the couple meet it was a nice change from meet cute kinda thing and that made me like the book even more it get kind of repetitive with how the couple meet and it was just brilliant how Ben and kate meet . I'm really excited to read what's to come from the author and to read previous books .

Nikki Rose really knocked Forgotten Evil out of the park, and it blew me away. I've decided that I'm going into very little detail because there's so much to unpack while reading this insane story about one of the worst men in my eyes, Ben. He's totally on the lamb & is totally America's most wanted for pure evil reasons. Kate is in the wrong place at the wrong time so he makes her go on the run too so she doesn't dime on him but the evil man never expected the result of this girl in his life. Man, the twists are coming in hot with my f-bombs dropping loudly, and I was on the edge of my seat with heart racing cover to cover. And maybe I saw more to Ben than meets the eye or maybe I didn't but I definitely was taken out of my comfort zone that's for sure (and that's nearly impossible) which makes this story absolutely brilliant. You can see for yourselves by hitting those one click buttons because it's an unexpected intense story which is impossible to put down! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Kate finds herself in trouble when the cute guy she was chatting with on the plane is a wanted sex trafficker. Because his identity has been blown Ben has no choice but to kidnap Kate. What happens when a monster gets tangled up with a beautiful damsel in distress?

I thought Ben was a jerk from the beginning, especially how he treats Kate. But as the story progresses you realize not everything is what it seems. Ben has secrets and Kate is relentless trying to find out more about him. With surprising twists both will have to learn to forgive & trust in one another if they want to move forward together. This was another amazing read from this author and I look forward to reading the next one!

Second book by this author and I'm sold!

I oftentimes wonder about my sanity when I love these kinds of books!

I think I enjoy rooting for the underdog and Ben certainly is that! Or, is everything just as he wanted it to be! Evil!

When Kate recognizes him, he has no choice! He's on the most wanted list and his goal, disappear!

What happens, is not what he expected!

Ms. Rose, I loved it!

I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Amazing Read

“You are my redeeming angel, helping to set me back on the right path after I’ve been lost for so long.” ~ Ben

An amazing redemption story. We met Ben in Faceless and he was an evil alpha male. Meeting Kate has turned his life upside down in the beat way. Love all the twist and turns and the epic journey this books takes you on.

***Can be read as a stand-alone***

Ben is on the run after escaping from police custody, and when he is on the plane he is recognised by sweet and innocent Kate, who he ends up kidnapping as collateral. This is a well written flawless story which is filled with suspense, danger, violence, mystery, twists, redemption, and is a steamy and all-consuming tale which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

This author has the talent and ability to drag you in within the first paragraph. Her world building is exceptional along with her characters portrayal. You definitely will not like Ben in the beginning, but redemption seems to be in sight. Kate is absolutely in a dangerous situation when they meet. Hang on tight, this is a great read!

I received this as an Arc and am voluntarily reviewing it.
