Many orphan girls dream of becoming a princess. For me, that just became my nightmare.

My life has been consistently unstable for the past nineteen years, so I was under the impression nothing could shock me.
I was wrong.
Forced to attend the famous Westling interview, I’m told I’m Anna Westling, the lost princess who was kidnapped at the age of three which is ridiculous because I’m the opposite of what a princess is supposed to be.
Thinking it must be a sick joke, I bolt, but Dominick Cabot hunts me down. He’s determined to make me spill secrets that I don’t know. When he doesn’t get the answers he’s looking for, he’s left with a choice… leave it to him, the ruthless, domineering brute, to pick the wrong one.
Now, to save the only family I have ever known, I have to spend two months as someone I’m not.
I’ll do my forced time, I’ll live her life, but I won’t change myself, even if it kills me—and it just might because not everyone is happy that Princess Anna has returned.

This is a new adult/college age enemies to lovers romance with bullying themes. It has foul language and sexual scenes; all sex featured is consensual.

I am doing this review far after reading the book. I remember loving this book. I'm a sucker for the pauper to princess thing. Found family is a great one too. This book ends with a cliffhanger, and is a two book series. The MFC was rough around the edges but I enjoyed the roughness. The MMC was a hardass but I liked that too. This book was amazing.

Unfortunately, I really disliked the second book. I was so disappointed in how this story concluded. On its own, this book was fantastic though.

3.5 stars...

It has a really good plot, but the execution could have been a lot better. It feels more like a rough draft, or like maybe this is a fairly new author that is figuring things out as she goes.
The characters have these crazy personality changes, like one minute I'm a complete asshole with a bad boy persona, but then I'm a perfect gentleman overnight, trying to make you my long term girlfriend. Or one has this reputation in the media for being tough, but then he acts all sweet and shy, getting red in the face talking about a girl he likes. What is that?! I'm expecting cocky arrogant assholes and I'm disappointed. Hayley is annoying most of the time, and all the characters that are supposed to be 15/16 act more like they are 12. There are also detail flaws, like her sisters bedroom is 2 rooms down the hall, but the next chapter its across the hall. Small things like that.
The writing needs some work, but the story has serious potential.
I'm currently reading book 2 because it left you with a huge cliff hanger.
Like I said, it has issues but it's just good enough that I want to see what happens. lol
I'd love it if this got a make over and more details.

At the beginning I really hated this book and that was because of the main characters namely Nick and Hayley. Hayley's stubbornness was really annoying at the beginning, to be honest it was annoying throughout the book. While I admire a strong heroine Hayley's lone wolf act was too much. If she couldn't accept the rich and famous lifestyle which I think was bs (though I understand that there are people out there who don't want to be rich and famous) what about the new family she has (who wouldn't want a brother like Aiden). Then there's Nick who's own act was as annoying as it gets with his insinuations that Hayley was a gold digger. I mean does he have to go to her room in the middle of the night to threaten her. And who gave him the right to look through her phone. It pissed me off that Hayley fell for him, then again to each their own.
The book slowly started picking up and I started to enjoy it. The surprises at the end really gave the book a twist but then again I don't know why it surprised me. I didn't trust Nick and I never liked him either so finding out he was a cheater shouldn't have been surprising. I will admit that I want to read book two. The ending is the best part of the book especially with the cliffhanger building that sense of suspense. I hope that Hayley doesn't end up with Nick, he's a piece of s**t, I hope the author pairs her with someone else. I will be reading book two to find out.
P.S: Doesn't this book remind anyone of paper princess? Though I think paper princess is ten times better.

ENTERTAINING!!

Everywhen starts off slow, then ramps up rather quickly to something much more interesting. I wasn't sure what to expect what to expect when I began reading this story of two young teens, adopted by caring parents, only to lose one to a car accident and the other mired in grief. Hayley and Tilley are struggling on their own when Tilley decides to see if Hayley is the onng lost, kidnapped Princess Anna, missing since age 3. They join 200 other claimants to find out, and life changes from that moment on.... Hayley resists those changes, kicking and screaming, leaving destruction, mayhem and fun in her wake. Good times ensue....
I was provided with a complementary copy of this novel for an honest and unbiased review.

I received a copy for an honest review!

This is really 4.5 stars!!! This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed this book. And by enjoyed, I mean I devoured it and had to immediately download book two! I lost sleep over these characters because I couldn't put them down. Hayley and Nick are on fire! The instant chemistry and how possessive he is towards her makes this book for me. And that cliffhanger, oh my!! When the author called this the Savage Princess duet, it is so fitting. If you want characters that have spicy chemistry and that don't back down, this was a delightful way to spend a few hours reading!

I have mixed feelings about this book. Really liked the two sisters, Hayley and Tilly, but most of the rest of the characters turned me off with their arrogance and smugness. The plot was interesting and kept me engaged but the ending really left me confused. I would be anticipating the next book to straighten things out but the author's note that the next one in this series is darker makes me wonder even more where this is going.
I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway for this honest review.

This was a new to me author and I have to say I was surprised by how much I liked this one.

This had a refreshing take on a princess story. It's part of a duet and does leave off in a cliffhanger. There are a ton of plot twists in this one and I can't wait to see how the author wraps things up in the next book.

The chemistry between the main characters is great. There's some hints of bully romance in this one, which I love.

I have so many unanswered questions. I'm hoping to have a much fuller review after reading book two.

This book is different than any other that I have read. It gives off Anastasia, lost princess vibes. I use to watch Anastasia all the time when I was younger and still know every song from the movie. I could not put this book down. I was sucked in from the beginning.

I have so many questions! Who actually kidnapped her or who orchestrated it? It really does seem like an inside job. That cliffhanger left me reeling and with so many more questions than I had before. I need book 2 like yesterday!

Reader beware, this does end on quite the WTF cliffhanger! Hayley is living her own life when her sister Tilly talks her into going to this interview to see if she is the long lost Anna Westling. Suddenly her life is no longer her own. This was an interesting story line. I definitely want to get my hands on the next book to see what happens. All I know is that if Hayley doesn't show her back bone I'm gonna be very disappointed.

These are the kinds of books that keep me coming back for more, lol. With the rollercoaster of emotions, the twists and surprises. The strong girl, the relationship that comes from that! It kept me guessing but also coming back to finish the series! Read, read, read!!

I struggled between two and three stars. I liked the story line and it had a good ending, but it didn't flow for me. It felt choppy and a little lacking. I'm going to read the second book when it comes out in hopes of improvement.
