passing is so underestimated.
at first, i LOVED this book because i love an obsessed hero. the moment Callum sees Aliana he wants her.
their relationship was so fast, he left for London and then their relationship became background noise. i just think it was too insta love for me.
if you want a hero that ADORES the heroine and a lot of mafia moments, try this one.
(also her a dirty talker 😏)

WOW! So much drama.
So many intense emotions.
So much action.
What a wild ride!
Holy shit, this book is so damn steamy, you will need a cold shower break between chapters 🔥 🥵 😂
If I had to describe this book in two sentences, it would be extremely brutal and sinfully erotic.
Exactly how a mafia romance should be.
We're talking about mafia here, not a group of wannabe criminals 🤷🏻♀️
I can't help it, I love mafia romances and they have to get a bit brutal or very brutal. Or at least more brutal, than a usual crime story.
Before you ask, yes, I realize how that sounds, and yes, there is definitely something wrong with me 😂😂😂
Collum is the epitome of the alpha boss, with a code of honor and respect and loyalty to his family and friends and respect to all women.
He's brutal where he has to be, he has no mercy for his enemies and traitors, but for his family and friends he would sacrifice his life at any time.
Aliana grew up in a house with a corrupt politician as a father and a mother who was never interested in her children.
In the corrupt world of politicians, money is what speaks and matters most.
And that's what she got to feel every day of her life.
Until she meets Collum and her life changes forever.
Definitely a must-read page-turner for everyone who loves mafia stories 🖤😍

This is what, for me, makes a mafia read oh so perfect
I want the violence
The crimson rivers
Cover to cover action and suspense
All the betrayals
And most important?
The possessive Alpha male that is comfortable in his masculinity.
That can put his goddess on a pedestal publicly and never worry about another's opinion.
Because he fears no one and nothing, except her.
The way Callum loves Aliana
This has all the twists and turns, the violence and betrayal, and the most primal of love stories.
Callum is a force of nature to be feared
And Aliana? She stands tall in the midst of his storm.
I did have a few minor complaints...
It could have been longer - More time spent on certain scenes.
Is that me being greedy?
Absolutely!
I wanted so much more time with this couple.
This is part of a series and I am not sure if it is listed as a standalone or interconnected, but without the back books, IMO, you will not have the strongest connection with the characters, the ability to separate and follow all the things happening on different continents - seriously there is a lot of backstabbing, takedowns, and overall craptastic shenanigans going on

ahh, such a good book. the beginning started off strong for me, but it fizzled out in the end.
i loved reading from callum's pov mostly. i honestly wouldn't have minded if the entire book was told from his perspective. he's a fascinating character that pulled me in from the beginning with his ruthlessness and his strong beliefs on loyalty.
he's a cold and expressionless man, and reminds me of christian allister from danielle lori's the maddest obsession. he's terrifying in so many ways, from the way he doesn't hesitate to kill to the way he would burn the world down for aliana, which admittedly, drew me even closer to him.
he was my favourite character in the whole book. i was so absorbed by his dark and twisted character. i wouldn't say he had any character development, though he definitely found it in his dark heart to love.
aliana was a unique character as well. strong willed, yet she was forced to be 'weak' with her father's hold over her brothers. i liked her character, especially because whilst she knew who callum was, she didn't run the other way nor was she overly dramatic for no reason.
i loved their entire relationship. they always burned red hot and misunderstandings never existed between them. there was never any miscommunication and that was my favourite part. books and couples like these set my standards. not to mention the fact that it was a fast burn, and i hate fast burns, so if i like this one, i really liked it.
i found myseld holding a breath during their more intimate interactions because of the chemistry between them and i highlighted every single time callum called her a "good girl", also squealed each time, haha.
the ending disappointed me, not going to lie. i feel like the ending with her parents was needed because you couldn't discard them considering her father is a threat, but it was too quickly paced out. i have so many questions and no answers because everything was jammed together. and there's also the matter of aliana's brothers. not once, even in the end, did we see an interaction with them so that sucked.
overall though, i did enjoy this book. the couple's relationship is amazing and their communication skills is *chefs kiss*. i also loved the side characters such as casper and kray. i hope, if they don't already have their own books, they have their own in the future.

STEAM LEVEL: 🔥🔥🔥
Let me start off by saying that while this story still had all the HEAT I’ve come to love, the plot felt a bit thicker than all of the other books in the series and I think pulling all the other plot lines together into this one played a huge part. Because holy crap, the complexity of weaving together all 5 books so flawlessly seriously deserves a standing ovation. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Risqué brings us Callum and Aliana’s story. It has the insta-ish feel I’ve grown to LOVE in the series. The steam. The passion. And the darkness of our MMC that just makes me melt. Aliana is forced to do things for her father that puts her life in danger while Callum works to take over as Boss for London. A lot of this book involved them being separated and I’ll admit that took away a bit from the overall story, BUT it also shows the maturity of the characters, the realness of their situation, and the strength of their bond. I could feel their love for each other and you just can’t beat that feeling.
When I say took away from the story I really mean I loved this couple so much I couldn’t stand for them to be apart. I adored their trust, their banter, and their sweet moments. Elena has created a dark world filled with SO MUCH love and passion I’m just…obsessed.
And the epilogues? Both dark and yet so adorable and funny and sweet. There was no hint of another story so I’m not sure if this is the end, but I’m thankful I took a chance on this series because it’s become a favorite of mine.

I'm still fanning myself from Callum and Aliana's book. This book sucked Me and cover to cover. I could not put it down. Callum sees Aliana one time and he is done. He makes it his mission to find her and make her his! This book follows suit with the other ones- over the top alpha male and woman who are dedicated to their men! Callum is no different in how he loves and cherishes her with everything he is. Loved this read!!

All the men of Beautiful Sinners are OTT,but Callum is a whole other level. The first time Callum and Aliana meet is electric. It’s told so well you feel like you right there watching. There is a lot of separation throughout the story. Lots of drama and action. It’s a hard fought HEA.

So, one of my favorite authors has done it again. Pulled me into her amazing imagination and caused me to lose myself in her world. I’ve loved every single one of the Beautiful Sinners (and spin off) books and Callum’s story adds to it beautifully. 😉 What does it say that, while the love story is always wonderfully hot and sinful, the brutality that the hero and his compadres exhibit to all enemies, is what makes my heart pound. I just can’t get enough. More than 5 ⭐️… highly recommend!

This story is steamy, intense and action-packed. Callum is a dark and dangerous man but after seeing a video of Aliana is determined to make her his at any cost. These two have an amazing chemistry and I loved how they just clicked together. Their interactions were such a pleasure to read. I loved Callum so much and how much he loves his Venus. This is a great story!

It’s pains me to say this since I’ve been reading this series from the beginning and for the most part I’ve really enjoyed it..I love anything organized crime but unfortunately this one is not doing it for me. I usually love obsessed possessive heroes but Risqué is too instalove for me. I needed these characters to take the time to get to really know each other and for me to get to know these characters..it was way too rushed. I struggled to feel a connection between between Aliana and Callum I also struggled to become invested in them.
I’m still a fan of the author so I’ll be looking forward to whatever she has coming next. Also thank you the author for providing me with an Arc.

Reading this wasnt a hardship whatsoever.
Have you ever read a book, that it makes you dread every single line. Well, this wasn't it.
This is my second Elena Reyes book, and it shouldn't have amazed how good this was.
Now this isn't your typical romance.
This is a dark romance, daughter of the politician, mob boss hero. They do fall inlove, cause it's romance after all, but in a very unconventional way.
Aliana and Callum are not so different, one live his life to the fullest and the other to survive but their risks are always greater than what a "normal" person would have.
Aliana is the daughter of a governor, and like many politicians in our age, he isn't very clean, but he's not the one doing the dirty, it's his beautiful daughter.
Callum is the second in command in a very important european mob, living his life by enforcing a tough hand on every single person that does their family wrong, and his cousin (the first in command) falls for an american girl whose bestfriend is Aliana.
Callum becomes enamored of Aliana, and will maker her his, and his own mission in life is that exactly. this book is that exactly, them both falling in love fighting the odds to be together.
This was an ARC and an honest review is what i'm giving. For parts of the book i felt lost, but not because it wasn't well written but i just wanted everything to work out for them, but they really were meant to be together and everything was pilling up against them.
It felt like they were fighting themselves, their families, the world.
This was filled with action, drama and those spicy scenes!!!!!!!!
I loved reading how enamored he was inlove with her, how obsessed he was with her safety.
He was literally living for her, making every amend possible for them to be together with no danger around them.
Aliana was a victim, she loved fully, was willing to kill anyone on for her family. As strong as she was loyal, she was fearless. She made every decision for everyone else but herself, and even Callum.
Nice book. Amazing characters. Great plot. Amazing writting.
Tropes: Mafia boss, Hero with an accent (boy did i squirmed), Forbidden love, secret romance.
Romance: Honeyyy, its a dark romance, not a very lovey-dovy.❤️❤️❤️

The very first chapter had me wide-eyed. It was gruesome and more mafia-type-killings and details (that I wish other authors would do) and I loved every second of it! I thought maybe that’s how the entire book would be, with the H being hard core and no-nonsense with everyone. He’s very soft with the h, I kind of wanted him to be a little more stern. However, he is ruthless with everyone else.
I love me an OTT/JP H and was not disappointed in Callum in that aspect. He was always one step ahead of the h, even when she wasn’t being truthful and honest with him. She had no idea how things kept turning out the way they did.
There is a lot of build up of their relationship and I was so ready for them to get a “home run” and when he FINALLY let it happen, it was AMAZING and fireworks everywhere.
I have not read any other books in this interconnected series. I did, at times, feel a little overwhelmed with all the characters. I couldn’t keep them straight and I wasn’t entirely sure on who everyone was. Maybe if I read the other books it would make sense? Or maybe some of these characters were new only for this book? I don’t know.
The story line was great though and I really enjoyed it a lot.

This author is amazing. I have loved every single book in this series and this latest one is just as amazing. I didn’t want it to end. Callum’s love for Aliana is what all romance should be. The connection these two had right from the first Hello was incredible. The definition of love at first sight. You can feel the emotion pulling from the pages as you read. So Hot and steamy.
This story has everything, action, romance, hot sex, emotional connection. There are moments throughout that are dark and not for the faint of heart. Callum knows exactly how to treat those who go against his family. Especially those who may try to hurt his Venus.
This is book is a stand alone but I would highly recommend reading this series in order as they all follow the same basic timeline and interconnect in some way. Knowing all the secondary characters stories and how they all connect makes for a much greater reading experience.
I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read what she comes up with next.

Talk about complicated love stories! Callum is extremely dangerous and knows it. He sees Aliana and knows he should stay away from her but he is drawn to her and can’t stay away. Aliana looks to be the sweet and innocent Governors daughter. There is more than to her once you start peeling her layers away. Aliana knows she should stay away from Callum but she is also drawn to him. Not only do these two have amazing chemistry they have an undeniable connection. This was a great story with well written strong characters. They both have so much family drama that just added so much more to this already well developed story. The baggage that they both had because of their families was unreal. I really enjoyed this book. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Callum may rules London but he wants to rule Aliana more. Sparks fly the moment they meet but its Callum who first saw her and claimed her before they even met. Both have a past and with Callums reputation Aliana knows she should keep away from the dangerous man, but their pull is to strong. The story draws you in with suspense and desires and the characters steamy chemestry holds you in place! Not wanting o miss a moment, this can be read standalone but works within a larger series.

Loved this book! Nothing better than a fantastic Mob story. He's from London with a sexy accent. You can't help but love the way he calls her "sweetheart". She's from the states and is the daughter of a Governor that has tight control of her. When he sees her in a bar, it is full-on captivation and he is going after her. I was spell-bound by this book, couldn't put it down. It is riveting and will consume you. Don't miss out on an epic story!

Wow this story was a Rollercoaster ride 😊😊 It had everything in it that you need in a good mafia romance. Steam, sweetness darkness, love, action and brutality. With a hot mafia guy and his One 😍😍😍

Callum Jameson. How is this man even real? The moment he lays eyes on Aliana he wants her. He is a total dreamboat as far as heroes go. His devotion to her is amazing. He is sweet, gentle, understanding and downright perfect (mostly!)
Aliana is complicated. She’s a woman with secrets and unshakable loyalties to her friends and brothers. For years she’s been trapped under her fathers thumb, used a master thief, for his benefit. Now he wants her to marry for his benefit. Callum isn’t on board with his woman marrying another man, as you can imagine.
This book is fairly action packed, lots going on all the way through. Callum is on a mission for his family and crime syndicate to avenge the death of his aunt. He doesn’t want to take Aliana until he has it in hand but he can’t resist her. Because he can’t just whisk her away yet, the majority of the book they aren’t actually together. They come together as much as possible but I was definitely frustrated more than once that they were having a long distance relationship.
Story 4/5, Heat 2.5/5, Angst 3.5/5, slow burn - there are activities between them throughout most of their time together but they don’t consummate their relationship until 70%, no condoms, no virgins - though h has very little experience, I think one time that she considered a mistake), no OW drama, tiny OM drama as her dad wants her to marry for his benefit but she has zero interest and Callum isn’t going to stand by for that. Lots of separation here, if they hadn’t spent most of the book apart I’d have given it 5 stars. No cheating, no cliffhanger and an HEA. Definitely recommend this one :)!

This story was utterly thrilling, highly addictive, exciting and so damn steamy that I may have needed to cool myself off a bit. Filled with action, suspense, betrayal, lies, and twists and turns you never see coming, this is one hell of a story that will keep you riveted to your seat, completely captivated by the words written on every page.
Callum is fierce, domineering, witty and so damn sexy. He takes one look at Aliana and knows that she is the one for him. Now just to convince her that they belong together! Aliana is smart, witty, sexy and knows just how to stand up for herself (except when it comes to her sleaze ball father). The instant Callum and Aliana’s eye meet for the first time I imagined fireworks going off! Their instantaneous connection was magical and undeniable and filled with heat. These two have such explosive sexual chemistry that it oozed off the pages and kept me swooning. They knew just how to steam up the pages!
This is an outstanding story that just pulls you in right from the very first page with its slightly dark beginning and keeps you hooked until the very exciting ending.
I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read what this amazing author comes up with next.

OH MY EVER LOVIN' HELL! This story was a wild ride filled with all kinds of goodness making it totally my jam, but I love this author so much so I wasn't surprised, just delighted. Callum is second in command to a powerful mafia, and doesn't shy away from taking care of those who try to hurt his family. Aliana is the daughter of a corrupt governor who forces her to get her hands dirty on his behalf, so you already know that her family will bring serious drama & betrayal to the story. The moment these two meet, Callum knows that she's going to be his, and he would burn the world down if anyone harmed one hair on her head. Now I don't know about you, but if I were to find a man like him (no matter what his job is), I would totally rethink my position on never getting married again LOL! They are SUPER HOT together making for some explosive sexy times. There are also twists coming in hot, more family drama because of politics/mafia yo, betrayal, lies, action, and maybe just maybe love at the end of the day so a good time will be had by all! Do yourself a solid & hit those one click buttons because I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Aliana is the Polician Princess and her best friend Auoroa. I love both heroines and my heart broke for Aliana. She a puppet to her father he gets her to steal for him & take away her chose who to marry.
Callum & Aliana love story is a slow one. But there is plenty of suspense and blood in between.
I LOVE their first date is shooting practice with a meal of course, he cooks too he is truely a perfect man. He wants her to safe & knows how to defend herself.
Callum is making London safe before he brings her & her brother to UK. He currently getting revenge for his auntie. Aliana waits for his return and her father as got a job for her that is dangerous....no spoilers
Get ready endless action and suspense in this one and to me the love story is a slow one. Because Callum has divided himself into two to protect everyone he loves

Warning there is dark moments with some graphic detail. Oh my! Absolutely fantastic read! I could not stop reading! There was so much going on and the banter between Callum and Aliana is comical and endearing. Callum is in the mob and loves his job then he sees her. Aliana is a corrupted Governor's daughter who wants to be free. When she meets Callum, she can be herself. But she feels that Callum is trouble the kind she stays away from. Can Callum change Aliana's mind? Elena knows how to bring a story together in words and keep you interested. Everything just flows making it easy to follow along. I highly recommend reading Elena's books because you get a bit of everything from darkness to light.

Trust me; this is a compliment. Elena Reyes writes the best anti-hero; I mean, her guys are evil criminals and would scare the bejeezus out of me in real life, but she makes them loveable heroes. Not to mention getting cheers out of me when they really really get mean and torture/kill the bad guys.
Risque was a bit slow for me to get into because I had not read the previous books in the series, but once I got the idea of the characters I was reading about, I enjoyed the story very much. Callum and Aliana were fire together. The suspenseful tale added to the spicy combo of British meets Latina making Risque a fun, steamy, suspense story of love, family, and good guys who don't always wear white hats. In fact, these Jamesons are dark dudes, but you love them anyway.

Being new to Ms.Reyes's work I've been wanting to pick up her books for quite some time now! As soon as I found out about this one I got excited for it right away and knew i had to read it first! I really enjoyed this story!
I was so glad to be able to jump into the Beautiful Sinner world! Right from the very first chapter this story demanded my attention and pulled me in! I liked the fact that I felt so many things with these characters and how I could picture it all so clearly.
With Risqué, Ms.Reyes has created such a great read that'll be sure to hook you! I can't wait to go back and read the previous books in this world!
