So I noticed a review on here on goodreads by Karen, who got this book which inspired you to draw for 365 days. I was intrigued. She took it to heart and created one each day and started posting her pictures. Now let me tell you, I am very artistic. I paint, I write, I create 3D dungeons out of dental plaster for my board gaming habit, etc. But I can not draw. I have tried. I get so frustrated and once in a while get something that’s pretty good, but most of the time it’s not. So cute pictures, easy enough for a kid interested me. I’m a full-time mom of 3 so I don’t have time to draw one every day, but we do a lot of camping and I often take markers and such on my trips, so this book was perfect for that! I’ve been working on it all summer, whenever I have an hour or two to draw I pull out this book. My pictures aren’t as good as Karen’s, so I’ll refrain from posting them, however, I really enjoyed it. It was fun and relaxing and my boys even joined in on the action. My pictures aren’t great, but I’m proud of them, and they remind me of my trips and spending time with my boys. It’s almost like adult coloring, peaceful and easy. I’m so glad I saw Karen’s review! Still working my way through this book, but highly recommended! I recently picked up another kid’s drawing book and I think I’ve started a new hobby! Since I refuse to post my own pictures, I figured I’d give you a link to Karen’s review so you can see some of hers. Great gift idea as well!
Easy step-by-step drawings of miscellaneous stuff which includes animals, mythical and real, plants, and household objects such as toothpaste, dustbin, food, band-aid, and thermometer. It also includes kawaii drawing secrets: body proportions, hands & feet, facial expressions, and how to add color.
Great for true beginners but it's too simplistic for me and my needs.
This was my first learn to draw kawaii book And I have been slowly working thru drawing all of the art included in this book. I would say this is a pretty easy, beginner friendly learn to draw book. Very very cute, I love kawaii style. Some good introductory writing for tips also.
Year-long adventure but marking it as read, as I'll only be doodling every other week or so. Excellent ideas in the book though and it's so, so cute overall!
we Really enjoyed this book. Purchased for me and my mum to do some cute doodles. It’s a great book with a huge selection of tutorials, they are easy to follow and have made doodling so much fun. I originally started doodling on graph paper to help with proportion and this was also a huge help.
