For years, my enemies have been one step ahead of me.

They’ve played me for a fool time and time again.

That all stops today.

Chasing ghosts never ends well... but slaying them most certainly does.

Reign is the third book in the Italian Cartel Series. It is not intended to be read as a standalone. It has dark themes that may be distressing to some readers. Caution is advised.

I really enjoyed this series not for the main characters as I will admit I found heroine too weak and needy whilst the H Dimitri wasn’t alpha enough for me but still a more tolerable character than his leading lady. The suspense was what drew me in and for that this gets 4*. My guess of the culprit was kind of right but I was still quite shocked at some of the events! As I said before this author may not write her female leads to my preference but her suspense is always really good in her books. Really good series!

What a phenomenal book.  It was hard to read in some places and hard to put down all the time.  Dimitri is not a good man and tells the reader so many times and Roxanne knows it as well but she also know that underneath he is a kind and an loving man.  There is so much that happens in this book and it is hard to talk about without spoilers, but it is an emotional roller coaster and at times I was angry and at other times I laughed and then I would cry either from sadness or sometimes happiness.  I hope Rocco and Smith get their own books, they played such an integral role in Dimitri and Roxanne’s story but clearly have secrets of their own.  This is a must read book.

This is the 3rd book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. Dimitri and Roxanne’s story continues. This is a fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense, steam and emotion. The chemistry is intense and the read is action packed. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!

The final in the Trilogy of Dimitri and Roxanne's story.
This trilogy is emotional, compelling, and unputdownable.
Shandi has outdone herself. This is brilliant storytelling packed with a powerful emotional punch.
Even in this third installment, I did not see the twists and turns coming.
This is a dark Mafia romance, an emotional rollercoaster, a story with a bite, punch, fierceness, love, and loyalty, and everything you want and need in a dark Mafia romance.
Not a standalone read, and must be read in order.
I strongly suggest you read all 3 books in a row.
I can't tell you anymore without giving away spoilers, so get stuck in. These are a must-read!

Reign of Dimitri! What a wonderful story! This 3rd installment and the wrap up of this Triolgy. Dimitri is a dark, dangerous twisted man who will do anything to get his daughter back. Roxanne is strong, smart and totally in love with him. If you want to read an Epic tale of betrayal, love, heartbreak, deception this is one twisted and emotional book.
It has more feels than you can even imagine. This is such an intense ride into the middle of a desperate man’s journey to get back what was taken from him.
Dear readers, I would absolutely urge you to enjoy this wonderful tale. Soon as you can. You feel as though you are right in the thick of things..

So many twists that I didn't see coming. Bravo to the author for being able to do that. The way that this book seamlessly ties in with the storyline of previous books while still being fresh and exciting is a testament to her skill as a writer. I did wish there was more of a resolution in regards to the main person behind this crazy story but I'm assuming that will come out in the secondary character's books.

Loved the series

4.5 stars! The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 was the fact that this book seemed to have so many characters and different connections I was confused sometimes.

“You have no idea how much your smell brings me back from the brink. It can be so fucking dark, so fucking devastating, but your intoxicating scent is like a light at the end of the tunnel, forever encouraging me to find my way home.”

With his beloved Roxanne kidnapped by the very man who bid the highest for her virginity (Dr. Bates), Dimitri is forced to wait as her very whereabouts become a mystery. With the tracker crudely sliced from her arm, everything is in the darkness as she's transported to her new hell. Finding out she was eight weeks along with their baby, Roxanne is determined more than ever to return to Dimi with both their unborn baby but also Fien who's been missing for over two years. Seeing Audrey alive, it shocked her to the core as they spent the last several weeks hunting for her corpse, everyone believing she never could've survived the cesarean that took their baby four weeks early. Haunted for years by bribed and shortened and blurry videos, Dimi never thought he could fall for anyone with the intensity he feels for his daughter. But with Roxanne it all came so naturally, the spark and chemistry between them impossible to ignore.

I lost the man I love, our child, and my principles in one night. Nothing could have prepared me for this—not even falling in love with a notorious mobster so outrageously that I’d do it all again in a heartbeat just to see the light in his eyes shift for the final time.

With Aubrey's quick thinking, she mixed juice, oil and cornstarch together to mask Roxanne's pregnancy, making even the mother herself believe she's miscarried. Beaten in her stomach, she really thought her child's life had ended before even officially beginning. With terrible cramps in her stomach (later discovered to be appendicitis), all while continuing to push through to find Fien. Never knowing if Dimi would actually come, she had to rely on herself to fulfil her promise to keep that little girl safe. When she saw him for the first time, she was struggling to keep Audrey alive who had suffered multiple stabbings to her stomach. With all the focus back on his wife, she knows their relationship may be no more now that father, mother and child are back under one roof. Still cold and distant, the spark he shared with Roxanne is t present with Audrey no matter how hard he tries to force it. Still contending with her best friend India, she can't keep her obsession with him to herself. Jealous of Aubrey and Roxanne, she would try to slit Audrey's wrists to resemble a suicide but would be stopped by Roxie. Trying to make everyone believe Roxanne lied about being pregnant, she nearly had them all fooled. When India held that knife to his daughter's throat, Dimi missed his shot and instead shot Roxanne through the stomach. Miraculously, she survived but so did their unborn son. Now, she's four months along and married to Dimitri, ready to take back the legacy his father tries to tarnish.

“Whoa, hold up, Princess P,” Rocco pushes out, half amused, half panicked when I shove him into a beanbag-type seat across from Dimitri and the unnamed blonde before nuzzling into his side. “Aren’t I supposed to get a final meal before I’m sent to slaughter?”

“Dammit, Roxie, you’ve got me all types of conflicted. I don’t want Dimitri to slice my dick off if it gets hard at the thought of you stroking it, but if you’re going to touch the hammer, I can’t have you doing it while he’s half-mast. That’s an injustice I cannot allow.”

Review for the three first books is the series:

Dimitri’s pregnant wife was kidnapped by his rival, her body never found, but he paid to guarantee his daughter safety ever since.
It’s been three years, and he never gave up on getting his daughter back.
The thing is, there’s this redhead - Roxanne - that he saw and couldn’t get out of his head. Which is a problem, because she is a distraction he doesn’t need, but can’t avoid.

This is an epic tale of betrayal, love, heartbreak, deception, emotion and suspense. A story of a desperate father on a journey to get is daughter back, a daughter he never meet.
And while looking for her, he does despicable things. Dimitri is an asshole! And some things he did, made me want to kill him. The scene where she loses her virginity… I lost my mind!
His enemies are making a fool of him, and this sweet innocent girl, is the one paying the price.
The plot twists in this book left me speechless. I just wanted my HEA and this one was very hard to get to. The story kept me on my toes, and the angst is on another level.
I’m always blown away by the story’s Shandi writes. She is such an underrated storyteller! Her story’s are so raw! And so good!
This is one of those books you should go in blind. And be prepared to cry, throw your book against a wall and be mind blowned.
The suspense is top notch. It’s such an emotional roller coaster. Just thinking about it, makes me want to re-read it.
What a fenomenal series!
Happy Readings 🤍

Wow what an amazing read. I cried, laughed and smiled throughout this book. It was filled with action, sadness, devastation and twists galore.
The book starts from where the previous book ended. It follows Dimitri and Roxanne as they embark on a ride of a lifetime. They go through so much to get back to each other. I was shocked and aghast at the lengths the main villian would go to ensure what they want. It was barbaric and unhumane.
I had an idea of who the culprits were and some of the mystery but the twist at the end shocked me to the core.
What i loved was the relationship between Rocco and Roxanne. They had me laughing at their antics. They were so funny together.
I loved Dimitri in this book. He was the perfect boyfriend. Although some of his actions were bad, the reasons behind his actions were genuine and very real.
I cried with Roxanne when she went through during her captivity. It was heartbreaking.
This book has to be the best book in the series. I loved it and was sad when i got to the end.
I cant wait for Roccos story and the other characters in the world of the cartel.

This is the third installment of the Italian Cartel Series and cannot be read as a standalone. Dimitri and Roxanne must be read first.

Dimitri is back and better then ever. He is more ruthless, and is done playing games with the people that have his daughter.

This book was phenomenal. It will give you so many emotions. It is dark and twisted. Expect more suspense, and action.

I absolutely love Dimitri!!! I know he is dark, and he will say that he isn't a good man, but he is my absolute favorite. I fell for him more in this book.

Roxanne is perfect for Dimitri. She is tough, and fights with every thing she has to help him get his daughter back.

I absolutely recommend this trilogy. Everyone needs to read this amazing authors work.

Reign
Oh my freaken gosh!! 😱 Reign is the book!!!

This Dark Twisted Tale takes you places that has puzzled pieces throughout the series of all Shandi’s stories coming together. It gives answers to some, but creates more and that’s why I love Shandi’s stories. They’re like a spider web that lead you here and then there.......But I digress.
The passion in this story is gobsmacking. Hot sexy thrilling and dark! Dimitri is on the hunt! I want to write more but I don’t want to spoil it for the readers. Just know that this trilogy is the 💣 bomb! I’m Italian and became completely entranced.
🌟 why can’t we rate higher than 5 🌟’s?
I’d give this a 10 star rating for sure.

Another Definite Must Read.

You don't want to miss this!

Reign it's the third and final installment in The Italian Cartel series by Shandi Boyes and must be read after Dimitri #1 and Roxanne #2.
This is Dimitri's Reign! A dangerous man, Dimitri won't give up until he completes his ultimate goal: to get his daughter back. And with Roxanne by his side, he'll fight, he'll destroy and he will conquer. This is a dark, raw and gritty story, the triggers are present, but it couldn't have been done any other way. I don't have enough words to describe how I felt about this tale: it's twisted and deeply emotional with betrayal, deceit and unparalleled love. Dimitri and Roxanne give as hard as they get!
Congrats to Shandi for another epic journey!

Dimitri - a man you hate to love, but you love him anyway.

Shandi Boyes deals out another cannot-put-down page turner of a trilogy. How an author can make you love a mafia prince who is an arrogant alpha male, drug using adulterer, that wouldn’t think twice about committing murder is beyond me, but I loved every minute of it.

This book, as well as the entire trilogy, was well written and extremely captivating. Filled with suspense and so many twists, it keeps you guessing and wondering what you will be surprised with next.

If I would have been asked if I liked to read dark mafia romance before I found Shandi Boyes my answer would’ve been absolutely not, but now I cannot get enough.

Good story

This is a good story. A good way to end the story of Roxanne and Dimitri. Roxanne impressed me with her strength at the end. The only thing I was missing was more of the love story between Roxanne and Dimitri. I feel like all we ever got was fighting and hate sex but I was missing some of the tender moments. Even if it were in an epilogue of sorts after everything happened. Give me moments of him saying I love you while she’s conscious. Give me love making or cuddling or the story of how they got married. Something. Anything. It was good but fell a bit flat for me in the end.

Rollercoaster of emotion & grit

Wow the things people will do when they are obsessed and a bit of a maniac. Dimitri & Roxanne have been put through the ringer in this book. Between kidnapping, unspeakable torment and torture they are still standing and holding strong for their determination to find his daughter and keep the woman he loves safe! This books has so many twists and unexpected turns it will give you whiplash. However, it is so worth it to see it all come together. I’m excited to read the rest of the series and get to know the other strong men we’ve met along the way! Happy Reading!

Holy Trilogy! The Italian Cartel series is on FIRE! Dimi and Roxie are fierce in this third installment! It’s hard to write a review without giving any spoilers but I can’t stress this enough, buy these books and devour them back to back and over and over! Shandi is phenomenal at how she interweaves her characters so seamlessly and creates the perfect flow within her stories. This book is easily the darkest of the three with some possible triggers but please don’t let that deter you. This story needed to be told and Shandi does an excellent job at it. 10/10 recommend!

First of all I have to say ‘how on earth does Shandi come up with these stories AND keep up with all the characters? Who they belong too? What their stories are? And how they interact on some level? I have NO idea??? Ok, back to this book, another amazing read, I’m not going to say the best one, because they are all on equal footing, I honestly couldn’t pick a favourite because I love them all (although this was pretty special 😉) I cannot wait for the next book 😁

A fantastic finale ....... but will they end up together in the end?

Reign is the third book in The Italian Cartel by Shandi Boyes. This is the conclusion of the continuing story of Roxanne and Dimitri. The book keeps up the pace, suspense, intrigue, danger, violence, twists, turns and super hot passion between the main characters. The writing is spot on with the intensity and passion popping off the pages as you read.

It is hard to form the words for this without spoiling.
This 2nd instalment of The Cartel Series will however take you on a journey of the most intense roller-coaster of emotions imaginable.
Heartbreak, compassion and, above all, bring out a dark side craving bloodshed almost on par with Dimitri's.
A very gripping story that will have you on edge until the last page. Absolutely brilliant. Shandi just keeps getting better...

Emotional, Dark, Moody, Tragic, Fiery, Mafia

This trilogy has had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning I literally devoured this book. Dimitri has truly intrigued me from when we started learning more about him during Nikolai story.

Normally I'm never happy after a series has ended however I feel like Dimitri and Roxie both got the ending they both deserved. I know we will see them in others stories which makes me very happy.

The conclusion to Dimitri and Roxanne's story was one crazy ride. Being the last book, you would think it would be wrapping up nicely but no...there is more danger and some more twists and turns that kept me on edge. I loved their growth and the love they shared. Even when you think it shouldn't work, it does. They have amazing chemistry and their connection is undeniable. It's put to the test here and I laughed, cried, screamed the whole time reading.
