Mana Storm

Rate this book
Emersyn was born without full control of her power. Her mana refused to heed her call. It wasn't until an Akkadian lady stormed into her little village that she learned the truth.

She was never meant to be a village witch. Her life would become one of suffering and pain. All so that Akkadian children could Ascend and shift into their dragon forms to avoid the madness that threatened to annihilate the blood of all dragon clans.

Dalaric is the First Son of the white dragon clan. A warrior without parallel, he is helpless to protect his sons from the madness. His eldest, Caelwin, has already begun using mana wine to stave off destruction. Then he finds Emersyn in the woods. He knows what she is. Who she is to his people.

And then she becomes more. Through violence and shared loss, Dalaric learns Emersyn has always been meant to be his. His Sydae-Va. He will shelter her beneath his wings, but only if she can accept that to claim her place at his side, she must also embrace his second, Aegwin, and welcome him to their Sydae.

An ancient tradition, the forming of a Sydae so that the most powerful of dragons can protect their shared mate, will be put the the test by a world gone mad and the darkness just waiting for the right opportunity to Rise again.

*This is rated for Young Adults. Strong romance themes but there is no erotica or sexual scenes. Violence, thrills, and chills exist alongside dragon humor and love unbound by human understandings. Book ONE is the series.

Like fantasy fiction?? Into mystery and action? You'll LOVE Mana Storm! And this is just the FIRST of a series, so you can tell you're going to get hooked and want to follow this story all the way. The characters are so well written, the action is realistic, and the twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. Not going to give spoilers, just going to tell you that this is worth every minute of your time and every penny you spend. No, actually, it's worth TWICE the money spent. Yes, it's that good - and more is forthcoming!
