Sail With Me by Jen Talty is her second book in Kristen Proby's With Me In Seattle Universe. This book is a quick read with some fun and some suspense.
Darcie is more than annoyed to discover that she's being thrown together with an ex when he's on her yacht. The chemistry between Reid and Darcie is palpable.
This second chance romance is a quick read with heat and drama. Jen Talty has been able to seamlessly weave her characters with Kristen Proby's characters.
I can't wait to see what the next book brings us.

Darcie is looking forward to taking the last part of her Captain's exam. This has been her goal for a long time. It was put on the wayside while she got over a broken heart. After this charter she is planning on taking the week to study. Unfortunately her boss takes on an additional charter and the guests are not ones Darcie is ready to see. At least she has the time to see her family for her parent's anniversary before that. A single night turn around is the pits, but she has a good crew and knows they'll get the job done.
She didn't expect to run into said guests on the way to her car. Reid Carson looks as good as ever and her heart, well she still loves him. He just can't accept her chosen career goal. His business partner Preston is another story entirely, he never liked her nor she him.
Reid knew Darcie was living on a sailboat here at the marina, seeing her was a surprise though. He still loves her and realizes he made a big mistake breaking up with her. He needs to apologize and maybe get another chance with her, but first he needs to figure out what's going on with the company.
After an initial greeting where Reid and Preston were having a drink, Reid finds himself waiting for her return by her boat.
That conversation almost led them to bed but common sense prevailed. At least for the moment.
Darcie enlists her brother Jared's aid and he has better ways of finding out what Reid wants to know. Of course Jager is also going to get all protective of his sister with regard to Reid.
Once the charter leaves things get even more interesting. Not only in the information Reid finds but also with regard to Darcie. Let's just say these two sizzle off the pages.
I couldn't put this book down as the pieces come together, implicating more than just Preston.

This is a wonderful love story that is full of suspense and intrigue. This story keeps you guessing who is trying to harm Reid. Reid and Darcie dated for a year and they fell in love, unfortunately their chosen careers were going to keep them apart. Reid ran a company, which he wanted to concentrate on making safety items, something his partner disagreed with, while Darcie was working on her captain's license to pilot a yacht. Both Reid and Darcie are wonderful characters who you can't say anything bad about and they are both still in love with each other. Reid's partner Preston wants to take over the company illegally and Reid is trying to find evidence of this. Preston charters a yacht where he knows Darcey works, all without telling Reid. Reid's finds out Preston wants to do an extreme jump off a bridge that is closed to this type of activity. He tells Jager, Darcie's police officer brother, that he thinks Preston is planning on doing something illegally to get him in trouble. With the help of Jager and Darcie they discover a conspiracy that will have tragic results. There were many twists and turns throughout the story. But through it all Reid and Darcie's love continue to grow along with their support for each other. I wish I could tell you more but you wont be disappointed. I couldn't put the story down once I started it. I received this book for a honest review.

We all know that Jen Talty is master of the romantic suspense genre and once again she has well and truly hit the nail on the head with her latest offering Not only is this a wonderful romance that will draw you in from almost the first page but it is a superb mystery with enough twists and turns to keep you engaged until the last page
Darcie Bowie is determined to get her captains ticket so she can sail super yachts but meanwhile she is working as a bosun to get experience It is good that she has something to keep her mind occupied because it doesn't allow her time to think about Reid Carson the man who broke her heart. So imagine her horror when she discovers he is the next passenger on the yacht she is working on and not only him but his business partner who she has never trusted As they spend time together they realise that it was a s misunderstanding that broke them apart but they also realise that Reid's partner has sinister plans for them Can they stop him with the help of Darcie's brother You will have to read to see

All Darcie Bowie has ever wanted was to spend her life on or near the water. She soon hopes to take her captain’s test to be able to man her own yacht, but for now she is working as the boson. She is shocked when she learns that Reid Carson, her former lover, will be a guest on the next cruise. Reid and his company provide extreme sports for their clients, but why is he sailing with her? She has never cared for Reid’s partner and fears that this cruise may not end well. Just as in the water, there is much that is hidden beneath the surface as they set sail. With the help of her brother, Jager, she and Reid are slowly able to determine that there is danger ahead for them with nowhere to go in the middle of the ocean. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy. Wow! I couldn't put this book down once I started it. There is lots of action and intrigue with some romance mixed in. Darcie had recently caught her current boyfriend cheating and while she could've got him fired, she didn't because of the overall situation. Then she finds out that her ex boyfriend from a year before was coming on board for a charter. Darcie had never forgotten Reid and neither had her family. Her family still thought Reid was good for her. Reid is dealing with what he thought was a crooked partner but it was much worse than that. Preston was after Reid and Darcie. I think Preston is nuts. Reid and Darcie reconnect on the charter and realize they still love each other. Reid tries to protect Darcie but doesn't know the full picture. Darcie find out what it is but too late. Preston almost gets his way but Darcie stops him in time. Darcie and Reid are now happily together.

Darcie’s life long dream has always been to be on or near water. While working as BOSON on a charter boat, she is looking forward to studying for her Captain’s exam so she can be a captain of her own yacht. While being informed that there is another charter booked, what she is unaware of is that the group chartering the boat includes her ex who broke her heart. Reid is Darcie’s ex who has never gotten over her. Unbeknownst to him, his business partner booked the charter knowing that Darcie was part of the crew. Reid is suspicious of activities of his partner, Preston, and enlists the aid of Darcie to see if he can figure out what Preston is up to. Lots of twists and turns. Caught my attention and didn’t want to put down because I had to find out what was going to happen next. Loved how Darcie and Reid start reconnecting through it all.

I received an ARC and here is my honest review. This is a really good book. It's set in the world of sailing and super yachts. Darcie wants to be a captain of a super yacht. Her family, with the exception of her two oldest brothers, think she needs to find a better, and "more stable" way to make a living.
Reid Carson is all about extreme adventures and the adrenaline rush. Darcie and Reid dated for 2 years and called it quits over misunderstandings on both sides. They're thrown together again and can't resist each other. However, a sinister plot is afoot and neither one of them knows who to trust. Will they make it through the murky waters ahead of them to find their HEA? Get this book ASAP and find out. I promise you won't regret it. Sorry, no spoilers.

Another great story by Jen Talty. Darcie and Reid cared for each other but their dreams tore them apart leaving them both brokenhearted. She is now ready to take her Captain’s exam and hopes to be captain of a superyacht for a couple years. Reid is struggling with choices his partner Preston seems to be making behind his back but he needs help to access files without Preston receiving alerts that they are being accessed. That is when Darcie is asked for help and ends up bringing in her brother Jared. What they uncovered shows just how far Preston will go to get his way. They have each other’s backs as they don’t know who can be trusted as well as their love won’t let them give up on each other this time around.

It had been just long enough since I read the previous book, that I’d kind of forgotten about the Bowie family. But, it didn’t take very long for them to come back to life in my imagination. And since I’m a sucker for everything ‘second chance’, Darcie and Reid’s story was right up my alley. Add in all the intrigue and suspicious activity, and I was happier than a cat with her own garden of catnip. I loved watching this pair work through all their own baggage while also trying to outsmart the bad guys. The ending is perfectly adorable, and I can’t wait until we get to come back to do it again.

This was an exciting read starts then builds good read.
Darcie is trying to get through the next two sailings as a bosons to end the charter season.
If she can get through without punching her cheating ex who is also the captain.
Although that's the least of her problems as she relises that the next charter group contains her other ex. Her exes seem to be falling out if the sky back into her life. Although Reid is the one that got away. When he asked her for help he brings her into a game thats has Deadly consequences.
Unfortunate for them both they are coming in the game late. Great read really enjoys this book.

Darcie works in a man's world and is more than determined to prove a woman can be a captain . She is planning on taking her captain's test and while not evertyhing is great this is her dream. The not great part is losing Reid, he wanted her to quit her job and there was no way she was doing that. Now he is back on her charter for a fun guys weekend but it is going to be anything but fun. Not only is Reid seeing Darcie again after so long he finds out his business partner, Preston, is trying get him out of the company. Will Reid and Darcie not only find their way back to each other but a way to keep the company? This story is a great mix of mystery and romance.

If you like watching Below Deck then you will like this book. It's set in the world of yachting. Darcie works as a boson but is trying to get her captain's license to sail her own yacht. Reid is an ex boyfriend who is into adventure and developing products to keep people safe doing adventures and their jobs. But there's something going on that Darcie and Reid are trying to figure out and don't know who they can trust. There's suspense, mystery and romance.

What a great read about second chances! Darcie is chasing her dream when her ex Reid is back in the picture. They both have plenty of baggage to work through including the misunderstandings on both sides that cause their breakup. In drops some suspense and intrigue and you are guessing what will happen next and if they’ll ever make it to their happily ever after. No spoilers, you’ll have to read it to find out! And you won’t be disappointed!

An awesome story of intrigue, mystery, betrayal, and romance. Darcie Bowie was a bosun on a charter yacht. Unfortunately, her next charter involved her ex-boyfriend, Reid Carson, and a few of his employees. These two still held a mutual attraction for one another, which ultimately was used against them. The flow of the story was excellent and the characters were well developed. I enjoyed reading this adventure and love Jen Talty's writings.

This is a great second chance romance. It is well written with plenty of suspense, mystery, intrigue and romance. The characters are captivating and well developed. The plot is interesting and will keep your interest and keep you guessing all the way through. I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more from this author.

I really enjoyed Sail With Me by Jen Talty. Darcie and Reid walked away from each other in the past. When there paths cross on a yacht Reid is determined not to lose her again. This book has mystery and love it is a captivating read.

If you like your Love Boat with a large side of mystery and intrigue this is the book for you. Talty has captured the fun of sailing while also staying true to her romantic suspense roots.
