I have mixed feelings about this book. I really, really, REALLY loved Jack. He was swoony in every way possible, while being so patient, dedicated, honest, supportive - he was just everything. He finally has a way to have the relationship he's always yearned for with Alyssa, but she fought him every single step of the way -- even though she loved him just as much.

Look, I love independent women. Women in general get shit done and are rarely ever told they *can* do it all, unlike their male counterparts. I wasn't bothered by her independent steak, I actually loved that about her. I just didn't ever fall in love with *her.* she just seemed almost.. cold to me. Jack wanted so much to prove to her that she could have it all, and still lean on him. That it didn't make her weak, but instead would only strengthen her. She got better by the end, but I still wish she gave Jack the affection and love he so easily gave her.

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions.**

Jack's been keeping a rather large (try billions) secret from his best friend with benefits, Alyssa (Lys). Or should I say more than one secret, as he hasn't ever told her how he really feels about her. When she ends their fwb situation, and finds herself trying to gain custody of the teen sister she didn't know she had, Jack comes up with the perfect plan - a marriage of convenience. That way he gets to solve her problem, and he gets to be married to the love of his life, even if she doesn't realize how he feels about her. Will Lys ever feel the same for him that he feels? Or are they doomed to simply be friends with benefits forever?

This is my first read by this author, and I've gotta say, I am impressed. I loved Flyboy. Jack is so sweet and swoony with his steadfast love of his bestie, never wavering. Yes, he had lied to her, but it was completely understandable, and he did come clean so was easily forgiven. Lys was harder for me to connect with, as her stubbornness and inability to see what was so obvious to everyone else, her need for independence, was grating at times. But I could understand somewhat, I just wish she weren't so hardheaded for so long. Aside from her, I liked everything about this story. It's steamy and fast paced and all the characters, even the side characters are interesting enough to warrant their own stories.

Another great addition to The Everyday Heroes World and yet another new author for me to check out. If you are looking for a fun, entertaining read look no further than Flyboy, I’m sure like me you will find yourself captivated by Alyssa Drummond and Montgomery Jackson Winchester Townsend III (Jack Townsend) story.
Alyssa is fighting for guardianship of her sister, she has an alcoholic mother and a stepmother who seems intent on muddying the waters. Jack has been her best friend for years so when he offers her a marriage of convenience, it seems the answer to her prayers but Jack has a secret and he isn’t just her best friend. Jack is actually a billionaire with his own security team so what happens when Alyssa discovers the secret truth about the man she just knows as Jack, will she run or will she stay .......
This book ticked my boxes, I laughed and smiled at the witty banter, I swooned and sighed at the sizzling chemistry and I’m excited to check out other works by this very talented author.

Alyssa was trying to get permanent guardianship for her little sister. But it doesn’t seem to be that easy. She has to deal with an alcoholic mother and a nightmare of a stepmother. So marrying her best friend seemed to be the only way to help her get what she wants. But Jack has some secrets of his own…

I have only read one book previously of this author and I enjoyed it. This story was a quick, sweet read. It shad some great back and forth banter, amazing chemistry, some crazy drama with the parents and a smart mouthed teenager. What’s not to like 😊 ♥

An elaborate white lie is the gate way for Jack to have an actual relationship with Alyssa. Although she certainly doesn't make it easy. AT ALL! I found her infuriating. I mean, come on!! How can she not take advantage of all that husband material in front of her!? She is a woman wanting to be so independent to the point of putting on herself the weight of the world and spreading herself too thin. And Jack is desperate to help her, love her and be part of her life.

You will fall for Jack's patience and dedication. I really liked that he puts all his cards on the table. Plus I REALLY liked his sexy dominant side and sex drive. You will also find endearing the dynamics between him and the rest of the family and friends. But fair warning, even when you will end up admiring Alyssa, you will still want to slap her.

A part of The Everyday Heroes World, Flyboy is a standalone, exciting story by Rhian Cahill. The character interaction was engaging, the romance sizzled, and the story was great. I really enjoyed this quick read and recommend you pick it up.

Jack is swoon worthy! Seriously. And Penny! This girl is fantabulous! Allysa (Lys) was wonderful as well. Unpacking their problems was fun to read. Jack had a lot to make up for by keeping his status a secret, but he did it easily by just being so wonderful! This was just a great story overall.

Flyboy is set in the Everyday Heroes World and my first book from Rhian Cahill. While I loved the plot I'm not a fan of third person POV. It's not something I enjoy reading so I really struggled with this book. Unfortunately the book wasn't enough to make me get over the fact it's third person. Rhian Cahill's writing was good.

I feel so utterly bad for my review and please don't let it stop you from reading. My view certainly doesn't mean yours will be the same.

When I started this story I thought it was going to be like some of the others in this series, but it surprised me and made me fall for the man who would do anything to help out a woman who gained his heart a long time ago. Alyssa and Jack have had the whole friends with benefits relationship that is off the charts hot. Jack is super supportive and will do anything to make Alyssa happy. When Alyssa has a surprise step on her doorstep her life is about to change. But one thing that didn't want Jack being there in the background. Alyssa's past is coming for her and her sister and it's her job to protect her. But her sister is so adorable and I loved how Penny was brought in and just added to the story. Jack and Alyssa have one chance to keep Penny with them, but Jack also holds a secret and he's about to be exposed. Can Alyssa forgive him for not giving her the whole truth about herself, or will Alyssa's past destroy it all. This book really had you in your feelings and just wanting to hug all involved. Flyboy really took it to the next level of hearts and flowers.

This is my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed the story. The main characters are Jack, who is the flyboy, and Alyssa, the woman he loves. But she does not know that. She thinks she is in a friends with benefits relationship. Until the day her unknown sister pops up and then she dumps Jack and he tries everything to get her to see he loves her and her sister.

Jack is not just a flyboy he some really big secrets from the woman he loves. He is part of the Townsend Group. And I loved all the characters from the Townsend Group, I wish the author would write stories about them. Hint, hint!!!

Alyssa has a very evil mother named Gina and her sister ran away from her and hopes to find sanctuary with Alyssa. And so starts Jack's journey to make her family his. Alyssa definitely makes him chase her and at times I wanted to throw something at her to wake up to how Jack feels about her. But Jack I absolutely adore. He goes all out for Lys and while I wished he was more honest with her, I absolutely loved this Flyboy.

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It takes a truly talented author to get me past third person POV with the content of the story since it's not my preferred POV. And Flyboy was that type of story that I got past it in very short order to be honest so BRAVO Rhian Cahill. Jack & Alyssa are friends (besties) with benefits which Alyssa ended because of trying to get custody of a teen sister she never knew she had. Jack has had a secret thing for her, and it seemed like she never realized it but what do I know. Anyway, he proposes a marriage of convenience situation that will help her immensely, but he's got a big secret of his own. See, Jack is a billionaire so you have to wonder how that's going to go when revealed. I will say that Alyssa was too stubborn that my hands itched to shake her so badly because while Jack had that secret, it's not like it was anything bad to be honest, so he was pretty perfect to me. To find out how Flyboy played out, you know what to do! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This story is a great addition to this amazing series. Alyssa has her hands full and would like nothing more than to have permanent guardianship of a teenage sister she never knew she had, an alcoholic mother, and an evil stepmother. Alyssa and Jack have a friends-with-benefits arrangement, but Jack loves her, but she does not know that, and they enter a marriage of convenience as he wants to help her. Jack is keeping secrets from Alyssa, and how will she react when she finds out about them? This is a well written flawless story which is fun, entertaining, and with emotions, family dynamics, friendships, and love. I was intrigued throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

Who doesn't love an Everyday Hero who also just happens to be a Billionaire CEO? Yep that's what I thought.
Now of course it's not that simple or there wouldn't be a story and oh I loved the story full of strong women, learning to allow the men who love them to care for them.
One of my favorite things was one very smart surprise sister and the bond she created with our flyboy and his family and I'm sure everyone who reads this will love it to. ❤️

I just love the way Rhian Cahill writes a story. She gives her characters depth and demension that just make them more real and relatable.

Jack and Alyssa’s story is not a fairytale but an emotional one. With both characters being strong willed and independent it’s interesting to see them come to terms with how much they actually need each other. And then throw in a teenager too smart for her own good.

This story checks all the boxes, and some more than once 😏. Rhian Cahill has written an emotional, real story and I’m here for it! It’s an amazing addition to the Everyday Hero World.

I was a huge fan of this one. Alyssa has always had to struggle to do everything herself. Her past broken by a mother who was never there for her. When suddenly she finds out she has a sister who needs her help, will she let Jack help her or will she insist she do it alone. I enjoyed this story of love, friendship and determination. Alyssa and Jack’s friends and family added so much to this story. Another great story by a favorite author of mine.

This story packed a lot of drama, suspense, and so much heat. I loved Jack and sort of understand where his lies came from. Once Alyssa finds out though, I had a hard time with her. I understand her need for independence but Jack was there offering his help and boy did that make him even more swoony. The characters introduced are amazing too and I loved seeing some of my old favorites.

Flyboy is a story that ticks all the boxes and blends perfectly into the Everyday Hero World. Alyssa and Jake’s story has suspense, drama, action, romance and plenty of steam. A marriage of convenience storyline that will have you not only on the edge of your seat but swooning at the lengths Jake will go to for the ones he loves. Alyssa will ensure there is a little push and pull to have you gripped and enchanted by the path these two take to get their forever.

So y'all... I really liked Jack and I fell for him hard Alyssa took longer. Alyssa is very closed off and her exterior is hard to break. I was really shocked by how well Penny and Jack got along but what really shocked me was Alyssa not spending much time with her sister and being obsessed with working and and not asking f0r help. I will say when secrets come out im glad in the end Alyssa and Jack figured it all out!

I really enjoyed this quick story for a first-time reader of the author. I loved Jack and Alyssa, and how they interact and communicate their issues. It definitely makes their relationship even stronger. I loved the push and pull between these two. Even though it's a quick read, it is still filled with a lot of drama, and suspense. This is for sure a good read for me.

4 Star Review Flyboy (The Everyday Heroes World) by Rhian Cahill
Rhian Cahill is a relatively new author to me. This was a fun and entertaining read that kept me invested from the first to the last chapter. I am loving the variety of authors and tropes that KK Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World has give us.
This is Alyssa Drummond and Montgomery Jackson Winchester Townsend III (aka Jack Townsend) story.
Trying to get permanent guardianship of her sister, Alyssa has to deal with an alcoholic mother and a stepmother who is a nightmare. Marrying Jack seems like the easiest way to accomplish what she needs, after all what issues could a marriage of convenience cause between best friends? To Alyssa he is simply Jack, her best friend, she has no idea that he is a billionaire with his own security team but all that is about to change.
This was a well written story that ticked a lot of the boxes for me. The banter between them was fun and the chemistry sizzled. This was a heart warming story of friendship and love and one I really enjoyed.

Jack would do anything for Alyssa and he showed it over and over. Alyssa had a pretty horrible childhood and was surprised with a teenager for a sister. When she took that sister in to raise as her own Jack offered up any help he could to make sure she retained full custody of her sister. Even if that help was a Vegas wedding. This was a great quick read that had all the entertaining twist and turns. We had funny banter, crazy parents, sassy teenagers and sizzling chemistry. This was definitely a fun book to read.

Jack Townsend is everything you want in a man!! Lana ~White Hot Reads

While Jack has fallen in love with Alyssa from the get go, it wasn't until after her sister shows up on her down step that Jack shows what a true man is. He gives Alyssa space but also helping her. Alyssa has really high walls but slowly Jack breaks them down. There are times when I wanted to slap the shit out of Alyssa but in the end it all works out. Another good read in K. Bromberg's Everyday hero world.

The story is set in Everyday Hero World & this is the first time I am reading this author. The plot was nice but the story was written in 3rd POV and it was hard for me to get into the story. The story definitely had a lot of potential but it being written in 3rd POV , it just didn’t captured my attention. If you are okay with 3rd POV than you would enjoy the story .

I didn't realize this book was connected to Flashback until after I got into it. All of the KB Worlds books are stand alone, but have some type of link. I've read a few and I can say there's not confusion on the stories. Sure I'm curious about the Malone's (I haven't gone back yet to read the originals yet ) but you don't need to to enjoy the stories. Penny was a great character! She was obviously needed for the story, but she wasn't annoying or stereotypical. I got why Alyssa has her baggage, knew nothing about Jack's (not sure if there's a previous series about his family or not) but I just wanted to yell at them to talk to each other! That aside, I enjoyed the extra elements of this book beyond the romance.

I absolutely loved Flyboy by Rhian Cahill. Jack was totally swoon worthy, not only did he and Alyssa have incredible chemistry, his protectiveness of her and her sister, Penny just warmed my heart. Jack and Alyssa had some issues to overcome before getting their HEA. I adored Penny in this story and I loved her interactions with Jack and Roark. I also enjoyed all the secondary characters that appeared throughout this book and I’m hoping we will get to read their stories in the future. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to Fallout, the next book in this series.
