It's 2024 when I'm reading this book so most of the content is outdated, but every chapter has some interesting facts from the world of astronomy (stars, galaxies, nebulae, astronomers, etc) and for that alone I highly recommend this series.
A handy guide to what we can expect to see in the night sky with the passing seasons.
Although I've only just received a copy of this book (September 2020), a quick look at the information for previous months - showing details of starry events that I've been lucky enough to see - confirms that it's a useful guide.
It's not just a list of what you can see, there's background information which is helpful, and some rather nice images.
I personally think that this would be a lovely book to have in hard-copy format, but if you're out and about, the Kindle format is useful.
Will be referring to this over the next few months - weather permitting.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC. All opinions my own.
