It’s been a hot minute since there’s been a release in the terrific Taking Chances series and I ended up doing a re-read of Indulgence and Satisfaction. I’m so glad I did to get into the mindset for Experience--because it certainly was one! Wowza.

I loved how far Jacoby has come in his self-awareness and sexuality. But is he ready to take that next step—to accept the invitation to Indulgence and really see and experience all that invitation offers?

Get ready for a quick and sexy ride and some eye-opening experiences—especially for Jacoby! I so enjoyed my visit and catch up with what seems like old friends. Through Experience, I not only caught up with Jacoby but also Addison and Sebastian and Aspen and Brix, which was so fun. Their interactions and involvement—and encouraging Jacoby to open his mind and open himself to the experience of Indulgence—really rounded out the story. I just wish it were a little bit longer. ~ Missy, 4 stars

I never realized how much I missed all of the characters from Indulgence, but what a heck of a way to start the New Year. Jake and Eddie’s story is one that will keep your pages turning. The reader gets to see some of the previous characters and get reacquainted with them. When the annual Indulgence celebration comes along and Jake is given an invitation by his bestie, things heat up and this story just takes off!

This was my first read by this author and I can tell you up front I will most definitely be reading more. In particular, the first 2 books of this series as all of these characters completely intrigue me. Obviously Indulgence, the year masquerade, is the main focal point of the story. An evening when pretty much anything goes if you are lucky enough to get an invite. For me, as steamy and interesting as that party was, I was completely enthralled by the relationship between Jacoby and Eddie. How they came to be a couple, and how they are so very open with each other about their needs. Like I said, I need to go back and read about the established couples and I'm absolutely dying to read more about other couples (or not couple as the case may be).

This is the third book in the series. They can be read as standalone books. This book focuses on Jacoby and Eddie. They go through much during this book. It gives a bit of back story on how Jacoby and Eddie got together. It had been a while since I had read the other two books in the series. It was great to get to read more about these characters. I really enjoyed this book. It was great that Jacoby and Eddie got so many great things in this book. Red finally gets married as well. I look forward to more books in the series. I love these characters. Great job Jeanne.

I really enjoyed Experience. It was an mm novel in the series so something a bit different to the previous two but the MC, Jake, is a character we've "met" before.
This book wasnt completely set during an Indulgence event which at first I was a bit upset about but reading Jake and Eddies story was brilliant, their history, their current plans and obviously the build up to Indulgence and the event happening.
When I finally got peace from the kids to sit and read this, it was finished very quickly. I highly recommend this book!

'Experience' was a good read and a great continuation to Books 1 & 2 in the Taking Chances Series. As with the earlier books it is set around the Indulgence New Year's Eve Party. It could be read as a standalone but sooooo much better when you have read the earlier books.
This is Jacoby and Eddy's story (MM). It is hot but also emotional. These guys appear to be struggling in their relationship before they enter the house where all their fantasies can come true, but do their fantasies align and what will a night of Indulgence do for their marriage?

We are excited for a long overdue visit to Indulgence! But that is not were we start this story; this story starts six years earlier when a night of trivia helps Jacoby find the love of his life Eddie. Everything that Jake and Eddie want are within reach and they achieve. But the once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in Indulgence has Jake questioning everything. The connection that Jake and Eddie have through out the book is organic and passionate. This is the first time that Jeanne has written in this genre and the execution was flawless.
Who else is going to find something more at Indulgence?

I went into this book without reading the blurb and I’m glad I did. I loved not knowing to expect.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, getting to meet all the characters in Jacoby’s life, experience Indulgence with him and Eddie. And it was HOT right from the start.

However, it feels a little “unfinished” in the sense that there wasn’t much of a storyline. The story moved forward with a bunch of different scenes strewn together that did relate, but I felt that there was no real hook to make me keep turning the pages faster.

Well this book was one that I decided to read without ready what it was truly about. Its a M/M book about Jacoby and Eddy and well at first I was a little put off but I decided to hang in there and see what the story was like. New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball where fantasies come true and everyone is masked. Sounds a little strange but the Author wrote this book to make us aware of the ups and downs of these two characters and let me tell you I was not happy with Jacoby through the book some of the choices he made but I believe that is what the author wanted and it worked.

This was an amazing book by Jeanne McDonald and it most definitely will not be the last that I read. Eddie and Jacoby’s story was one of true love and a genuine partnership between them. I have not read the other books in this series and this book was easy to follow but I will be reading the others because all the character were great and fun. A truly hot read. I highly recommend this book.

So glad that I took a chance on this book as it was steamy, fulfilling and a great escape. This author is new to me but the blurb drew me in.
Jacoby and Eddie are the focus of this stand alone. This is a series but I had no trouble following along in book three. Experience is such a great name and Jacoby experiences so much in this story. His development and growth along with his relationship with Eddie was well written. I am volunteering to leave a review for this book.

I'm definitely going back to read the other 2 books in the series because I am curious and loved the other couples too!

The third book in this series by this is my first read by this author. I will have to check out the first two books. I enjoyed the writing style of this author. The story flowed effortlessly and the story was definitely worth reading and held my attention. The characters were well rounded and I loved the chemist between the two men. Will look forward to reading more.

At first I didn’t know If I was going to enjoy this story. I didn’t know what way it was going to go. But I enjoyed going along with them in their journey. It’s not for all people but I don’t mind reading m/m and some of the scenes were hot! Overall a quick, steamy read.

Well. Experience was my first book by Jeanne McDonald and I can happily say it won’t be my last! I really enjoyed this book. Even though it is book #3 in the Taking Chances series, I had no trouble reading it as a stand alone. Now I can’t wait to go back and read the first two!

H O T right out of the gate!

I was intrigued by the storyline, and hooked by the prologue. Admittedly, I had a love/hate relationship with Jacoby through most of the book...but the love he has for the people in his life is palpable and honorable. When I questioned him the most, he put me in my place and quickly went back to loving him.

Then the masquerade, grab a fan, Readers. It...gets...HOT!
