I enjoyed some of the content, but the book had no real flow or semblance of conclusion. It did not have sources as to where information came from, and potentially put too much stock in the power of essential oils.
Overall, read with a grain of salt!

This book has some informative points, maybe a little too much lol. Although I must say it was very organized and clear and to what certain things meant. I do think this is a useful book to have especially if you want to learn more about Chakras and there benefits.

A good summary of chakras but if you want detailed info, look for another book.

The book opens with some casual fatphobia and then two pages later calls ancient Indian culture “primitive” - lost all credibility for me.

I hear all about Chakras during yoga practice and know a little from that, but have wanted to learn more about them for awhile.

This is a good book for beginners like me. It discusses exactly what all 7 chakras are and what they are believed to influence in the body. I also love essential oils so I liked that it ties those in a little, but wish there was more of that along with the nutritional aspect.

The book also kind of abruptly ends without bringing all of the points together, but still a good introduction.
